Summer '09
Bartender.
We arrived at the club. I could already hear them singing. We showed the usher our staff IDs and he let us in. We got in and it was really loud. The music and conversations were fighting to be louder than the other.
"I'm-dance." Was all I could make out from what Vanessa said. She pulled Kylie and Serena with her. I felt awkward standing alone. I pulled down my black dress a little bit and fixed my hair. Then I walked over to the bar. I got on a stool very awkwardly because it was pretty tall.
"Hey, what can I get ya?" I looked up and saw the most attractive bartender ever. He winked at me and I blushed.
"Mountain Dew, please." I bit my lip flirty. He gave me a slight nod and poured Mountain Dew into a glass with ice.
"Here ya go." He handed me the drink. "You look familiar."
"Really?"
"Yea. Do you come here often?"
"No. Actually it's my first time." The song stopped and the band was taking a break. I'm glad I had a perfect distraction in front of me. We talked for a while and flirted A LOT. I leaned over the counter and he did too. Our faces were pretty close at this point. He kept biting his lip like Finn used to do but I knew I wouldn't let him kiss me. I don't even know him. Wait, I kissed Harry without knowing him.
"You look really nice tonight."
"Don't you have like... Uhh... Customers to serve?"
"Your a customer. I'm serving you." He winked. We both bursted out laughing at his fail of a pick up line. Man, he has such a cute laugh. We calmed down and looked into each others eyes. He had beautiful blue eyes. Venomous eyes. Now we were inches apart.
"Olivia!" I turned around and saw Kylie holding a very drunk Serena.
"TAKE HER!" Kylie screamed. I ran over and put her arm over my shoulder. I walked her to the bathroom and got her into a stall. Immediately she started throwing up. I held her hair back and rubbed her back. After she was done I got her to the sink and she put washed her face. I gave her some mouth wash I keep in my purse. I'm prepared.
"Thanks Liv."
"It's what I'm here for." She gave me a hug. I hugged her back even though she smelt like alcohol and vomit.
"Who was that boy you were talking to? He was cute." Crap. I forgot. Plus, I didn't even get his name.
"I don't know but I gotta go. Are you okay by yourself now?" She nodded and I ran out of the bathroom. I went to where my drink was still sitting but no bartender in sight. Damn it. Then I noticed a note taped on my glass. I picked it up and read it to myself.
Dear, uhhh... Olivia?
My shift is over.
I really want to see you again.

I flipped it over and saw his number then I put it in my pocket. I smiled to myself. I was so distracted I didn't even know the band started playing again. I walked through the crowd and found the rest of the girls. We danced for a bit. I had a couple drinks and was a bit tipsy. I looked up at the stage saw Harry and Zayn looking right at me.
