After I read that message I didn’t know what to think

Did my dad make it up?

Is it true?

Is anyone else a vampire?

What is going on I am so confused Is it true or not true? I got my phone out and rang my dad.

“Hey dad.” I said

“OH MY EMMA GET YOURSELF HOME RIGHT NOW YOU ARE IN DANGER PLEASE COME BACK I WOULDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO IF YOU DIED.” He shouted into the phone

“Dad I’m fine I’m just confused is it true is he a you know.” I said I was almost in tears

“He is a suspect along with another band member I’m not sure which one but one of them.” He said

“Dad I thought vampires would just straight on kill you isn’t that what you told me and what we have experienced they usually find their prey then kill them not hesitating.”

“They usually do but what happens if they plan on using you for something now come home.” He said

“But dad it will look too suspicious I’m good friends with them and now if I leave it will be really suspicious and they will want an explanation I can’t do that.” I said crying

“ok I really don’t want you staying with them but I know that you have your weapons in your bag for an emergency and I know you can take care of yourself just come home in 2 days and say it is a family emergency ok and when you get back we will talk about this.” He said

I sighed “ok dad I love you.” I said

“I love you two sweetheart stay safe.” He said and with that I hung up and I collapsed on my bed. How will I tell who else is a vampire.

*knock knock*

Crap that will be harry.

“COME IN” I shouted the door opened and it was Rachel.

“hey.” I said I was pretty much on the verge of crying I was trying everything not to cry but she knew I was upset about something.

“Emma what’s wrong.” Those words I just couldn’t hold back I let all my tears fall she sat on the bed next to me and pulled me into a hug.

“What happens if harry isn’t the guy I believe he is.” I said

“What do you mean?” she said

“I can’t tell you.” I said she got up and went to the bathroom and came back with some tissue.

“Here” she said and passed me the tissue my hand caught contact with hers and she was freezing. What happens if Rachel is a vampire?

“So what’s wrong apart from this harry thing you’re thinking about?” she said

“Well my dad texted me about a family emergency and I have to go home in two days at the latest. “ I said breaking down into more tears.

“Em everything will be ok and I hope you don’t mind me calling you that.” she said hugging me and rubbing my back to comfort me.

“I don’t mind and thanks Rach you’re the best. I said pulling away from the hug Rachel then walked over to the door and stood in the door frame holding either side of the frame.

“I’m pretty sure the main person to comfort you and make you better is Harry and trust me Harry is the person you think he is what you see is who he is.” She said walking away.

But that’s the thing he isn’t he is a vampire a blood sucking creature who kills innocent people. I put my knees up to my chest and cried a little bit maybe I should just leave now maybe Harry won’t realise that is what I will do leave now.

I hopped off the bed and looked in the mirror I was still wearing my clothes from today and my hair was fine but my makeup was all smudged from the crying so I fixed it I packed up all my stuff again, I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote,

Hey guys,

I’m very sorry that I am gone and I didn’t get to say goodbye but my dad called me he told me there is a family emergency I’m not sure what has happened but I am very worried about it and I am very scared of who it is and what has happened so I left Harry can give you my number if you want to keep in contact with me as I don’t know how long I will be but I promise I will come back as soon as this is over.

I left the note on the coffee table and walked out the door I was crying again since I was upset about leaving and at the same time I was relieved as I won’t be in danger I just wonder what my dad will do to them. I walked out of the hotel and down to the lobby I walked out the door and left but I stopped in my tracks as I realised that I had no car since the first night I ran away when my dad picked me up then when I went home I went in Harrys car now what am I going to do it’s too far to walk. I got out my phone and called my dad.

“hey dad I’m coming home but I have no car to get home and it’s too far to get a taxi as it will cost too much and I don’t have enough will you pick me up?” I said

“of course I will be there in 30 mins stay inside.” He said and hung up well this is great he told me to stay inside and I am on the street I sat on the path on my suitcase until he comes, but every so often I felt like I was being watched thank god I have a cross bow in my bag I prepared it and kept it hidden. After 5 minutes there was defiantly someone here I stood up and turned slowly I heard noised so I looked in every direction.

COME ON THEN SHOW YOUR SELF.” I shouted but no answer I was starting to panic. Who is it? What does it want? Wait I already know that answer it will be a vampire who wants to kill me since I’m a hunter. Soon enough I was pinned to the wall. My vision was blurry since I hit my head but I soon enough so a figure or a man but he had red eyes and fangs poking out of his lips.

“So you must be the leader of the hunters daughter I’m going to have no trouble in killing you.” He said I struggled trying to escape but no use he was too strong I tried everything from my training but he must be one of the first vampires.

Well this is the way I am going to die by a blood sucker I just wish I got to say to Harry that I love him and I wish I never tried to leave I closed my eyes and waited for him to kill me.
