All It Takes Is One Bite

Rachel’s p.o.v

I woke up in a unfamiliar room I slowly sat up very aware of my surroundings I looked around to see harry and Louis next to me on two settees I looked around and I also saw Liam, Zayn and Niall they all looked worried but they were all doing something to occupy themselves.

“What happened?” I said the boys rushed up to me

“Oh my god you are awake.” Niall said hugging me I felt really weak

“Yeah what happened?” I said

“well we were almost finished the concert and I saw you Louis and harry and you all looked very weak then around the same time you all passed out.” Zayn said

“You look very weak are you sure you’re ok.” Liam said

“Yeah I’m fine Ally can you get my bag from wardrobe.” I said

“Of course.” Ally said

“It was weird how you harry and Louis passed out at the same time.” Liam said

“Yeah how coincidental.” I said Louis and harry then woke up

“Whoa what happened?” Louis said

“You guys passed out on stage.” Niall said

“What did you guys do when we passed out?” Harry said

“we stopped the concert and got Paul and first aid but as we did that for you Niall ran off stage to Ally but security stopped him and he was nearly ready to punch them in the face because they wouldn’t let him get to you Rach.” Zayn said

“really.” I said

“Yeah I saw you passed out I’m not going to just get on with whatever of course I’m going to get to you and help you.” Niall said

“Your so caring thank you.” I said pecking him on the cheek.

“Here Rach your bag.” Ally said walking in

“Thank you and would you guys mind if I just talked to Lou and harry alone.” I said they all said yes and walked out.

“Ok now what happened how we passed out.” harry asked

“It was vervain.” I said

“What?” they both said

“Vervain it’s our weakness it can make us pass out or if it touches us our skin will burn from it.” I said I grabbed a bottle out of my bag which had blood in I really needed it I could barely sit up never mind walking around I needed strength so I drank a little bit of blood and split it with harry and Lou . We all felt much better now.

“So who do you think it was?” Louis said

“I don’t think it was a vampire it could have been but most likely it wasn’t so I’m going with vampire hunters.” I said

“Vampire hunters?” they said

“yeah they must have found out about you guys and they must of planned on putting vervain into the air conditioning causing us to pass out.” I said

“But why? “Harry said

“Because it’s what they do but they must have been checking to see if you guys are defiantly vampires and to see if there were any more so that they can plan to kill us” I said

“So is there anything else you want to tell us like werewolves witches.” Louis said

“Actually there are witches and there are werewolves and even hybrids.” I said

“Hybrids?” harry said

“Half vampire half werewolf.” I said

“Oh right that’s quiet cool.” Harry said

“But get bit by a wolf and you will die only the hybrid can save you. “I said they both gulped.

“so now we have to be extra careful about in public because of the vampire hunters and on a night time and also this might be hard since your famous and the vampire hunters will know who you are and can easily find where you are but you will be fine if your around security and that.” I said

After that Paul walked in “what happened to you two out there?” he said

“I have no idea.” Louis said

“Ok well are you guys ok now.” He said

“Yeah were fine it must have been the adrenalin getting to us or we are just out of practise.” Louis said

“Ok well let’s just hope this doesn’t happen in a few days since we will be filming for this is us.” He said

“Ok we should be fine now.” Harry said

“ok well tomorrow we are putting the stuff into the tour bus so go home get packing then rest ok.” Paul said

“Ok they said in unison.

“That includes you to Rachel.” He said

“ok.” I said

“I just hope that everything will be ok and we need to hunt again tonight we need fresh blood for us to be back to our normal selves since we are still weak.” I said

“Ok let’s go.” Louis said we opened the door into the corridor there was a window at the end I walked out Louis and harry both walked out into the corridor but quickly ran back in.

“Guys what’s wrong.” I said

“The sun.” Louis said

“What about it.” I said

“It burned us.” Louis said

“Wait what where are your rings.” I said

“They were on in the concert.” harry said

“Either the attacker stole your rings or you lost them when you passed out.” I said

“Can you check around the stage maybe we did just lose them?” Louis said

“Ok I’ll be back soon and so you’re not waiting I will run at vampire speed.” I said

“Ok don’t take too long.” They said I ran to the stage and looked around where they passed out there’s nothing here the hunters defiantly stole them now how are they going to get out of here it’s still light out.

I made my way back to Louis and harry. The changing room door was open and they were sitting inside.

“Did you find anything?” They said I shuck my head

“No sorry but we need to worry about getting you out of here.” I said

“why.” harry said

“It’s light out how the hell are you going to get to the car without bursting into flames.” I said slightly agitated

“God you seem so angry.” Louis said

“Yeah because this is the hunters plan no one else is here everyone left only Paul the girls and the boys are here but their outside they know you can’t leave so you’re fucked really so the hunters can easily attack.” I said

“So why didn’t they take your ring?” Louis said

“I don’t have a ring I have a necklace and you can’t see it since my top covers it or he might have thought I was sleeping or I didn’t get put in the same room as you till after the hunters have been here I really don’t know I’m just guessing.” I said. “Now we really need to get you guys out of here before any hunters decide to show up,”

“WE KNOW THAT BUT HOW?” Louis shouted

“I DON’T KNOW?” I shouted at him slamming him into the wall I realised what I was doing and dropped him.

“Sorry Louis I’m just stressing out about this.” I said suddenly I heard a loud crash from down the corridor.

“Guys theirs someone in here.” I said “now stay in here and stay quiet.” I walked out the room I walked quietly to where I heard the noises suddenly I was surrounded by 10 hunters. They all held a weapon to me and surrounded me.

“What’s going on?” I said trying to act scared and as if I was just a normal human

“Don’t play dumb to us we know you are a vampire.” One hunter said

“Now where are your two other vampire friends.” Another said

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said

“Maybe this will ring a bell they are famous, they are singers in a band and were knocked out on stage tonight along with you oh yeah and we have their rings.” One hunter said

“Oh harry and Louis I’m sorry they are gone.” I said

“Impossible it’s sunny out and we have their rings. “he said

“Well I had spare ones in my bag.” I said

“Just kill her.” One said with 2 hunters holding me back I was struggling but I wasn’t going to get very far as at least 8 hunters held a weapon towards me and I was still weak from the vervain with that Louis and harry ran out.

“Leave her alone.” They yelled

“Why should we all of you blood suckers are the same you kill innocent humans.” One said

“No we don’t we have to survive on blood but we only kill criminals and I can say me and harry have not killed one innocent human.” Louis said

“Yet you will how many times have to think about killing your band mates or even your family.” He said

“I have never thought once about killing a member of my band or family.” Louis said

“What about oh let’s think your little Irish friend Niall didn’t you want to drink him dry when he cut his leg.” He said

“I didn’t want to kill him so I left.” Louis said

“But if you stayed you would have attacked him you are all monsters you deserve to die you were meant to die not become immortal boys kill them.” He said

I managed to fight beside harry and Louis the hunters were very good fighters till I had an idea one of the hunters were close to me I grabbed him and pulled him into a lock with his neck stretched everyone stopped fighting

“Take one more step or keep fighting with us and he will die!.” I yelled

“Release him and we will stop fighting.” He said

“Do you think I’m going to trust you I promise I will let him go if you back off us and leave” I said the hunters started to back off

“Ok now give us him.” He said so I released him

“Now leave.” I said one hunter turned around and ran straight towards me with a stake I went to stop him stabbing me but he stabbed me luckily he didn’t aim for my heart he aimed for my stomach he hit me dead centre and I fell to the floor my fangs were out now and my eyes were red I lay in pain on the floor when I heard familiar voices around me. I looked up to see no other than Zayn, Liam and Niall.

“Niall.” I called out to him he knelt next to me holding my hand he was crying

“Oh my god Rachel we need to get you to a hospital.” He said he grabbed his phone to call 999 I looked at Louis and harry and harry ran at vampire speed to grab his phone.

Niall looked up “what the hell? How the fuck did you do that?” he said Liam and Zayn also looked up and were struggling for words,

“Rachel we need to get you to a hospital.” Niall said

“No I don’t.” I said I started to pull the stake out my stomach my fangs and eyes were normal now.

“What the hell Rach.” Niall said everyone looked at where the stake had been as I lay flat on the floor relieved of pain.

Everyone but harry and Lou said “what the fuck.”

“We will explain later when we get home.” I said Louis helped me up I looked out the window to see it was starting to get dark

“We can leave now.” Louis and harry looked out the window relieved that there was no sun we all got into the car and drove to Louis and Harry’s place the girls had gone home because they had things to do tomorrow. So once again me Louis and harry were left to explain everything.

We gathered them in the sitting room they all sat down and they looked confused

“Guys we have something to tell you and some explaining to do.” I said
