I couldn't help but eye the man before me up and down. Despite the situation we were in, I noted to myself he was quite handsome. "Zayn, please help us!" I begged, feeling Sam wrap her arms protectively around me. Jake was right behind us, and even though we had outran him, I was expecting him to catch up with us soon. So Sam was being abused at home, and at her boyfriends. What a screwed up world we live in.
"Okay." He nodded "What to do?" He questioned himself.
"For Christ sakes!" I snapped. He was a random stranger, and it felt wrong snapping at him like that, but we were being chased by a maniac and he was sitting here thinking! Don't just stand there, help us! "Please!" I repeated.
His eyes looked at me and I suddenly felt very small, so I hid further in Sam's arms. Zayn snapped his fingers "Here, come with me!" his hand whipped out and snatched up Sam's hand. He yanked her and I felt her grabbed me and pull me along with her. I was scared not only because we were currently running for our lives, but because we had no idea what this man was capable of. Sam looked like she trusted him, I mean she didn't question or anything when he grabbed onto her. Quickly he ran with us trailing behind him, it took a little while and I was starting to get tired "Sam, I-I can't... go on, an-anymore." I croaked.
Zayn looked behind him at me and his brown eyes softened "Easy, its okay... we are almost there." his voice soothed me in a weird way, and it forced me to keep going. So I powered through. Running along side them, and occasionally tripping over my own staggering feet. "We're here." He said. My eyes looked up to see a big building. I assumed maybe it was an apartment, or a condo of some kind. "Come on, go up." he urged us.
Sam's hand enveloped mine as she slowly climbed up the steps, Zayn walking behind us, making sure that no one was following us. "It's gonna be room number 101" he told us in a hushed voice.
I looked aroun dat him and suddenly my voice came out as a squeak as I saw Jake making his way to us. "SAM! SAM HE'S COMING!" I rushed.
She pulled my hand and we were hurling ourselves into the apartment so fast we barely had enough time to open the door. Sam fell in and I fell with her, landing on top of her. Zayn rushed in quickly behind us, closing and locking the door. "Jesus." Sam gasped.
All the sudden we heard a couple coughs behind us. Slowly I got off of Sam and looked up to see a group of guys staring at us with either amused faces, or rather concerned. "Having a little trouble there mate?" One with swished messy hair asked. His voice rather high and adorable. Only then did I notice... every single one of these boys was breath taking. Shit, shit, shit, shit! Was a beautiful entrance Brynn. Way to go!
"Eh, nothing I couldn't handle." He shrugged and looked down at us. We were still sitting there awkwardly, I was on my knees and Sam was propping herself on her elbows, still looking up at him. "Are you alright lovies?" He asked us.
When I tried to stand I cringed. My ankle hurt like a bitch, and when I got up, I stumbled, and suddenly arms were enclosed around me. They felt way to strong to be Sam's... maybe Zayn's? I looked up to meet nothing but green. Definitely not Zayn! I panicked. He had swished brown curly hair, that was wiped away to the side of his face, and his lips seemed utterly perfect, just like the rest of him "Easy there love. You alright?" Oh jesus, he was British. Just kill me now! They were all British... and I felt oddly out of place.
"I... I-I think so. My ankle hurts a little." I told him truthfully.
"Here lets take a look at that." He set me down on the couch and I looked over at Sam, wondering how she felt about the situation. Her eyes weren't even looking at me... they were trained on Zayn, adn I knew we had been saved by angels.
