Worth A Thousand Words... Aubree-Rose was sat on her bed looking through her sketch book, her teal bedroom all packed in boxes around her. Today was her last day of school before she moved to australia , she pulled her bag from the floor and grabbed her jacket, a quick look in the mirror today was her last day in her school uniform she straightened her skirt and tie and left her room to leave for school.
Aubree lived a 10 minuet walk from school and walked past her best friends house on the way, Jessica gave Aubree and big smile, "this our last day in this hell whole Aubs! how excited are you? I am so excited I have packed everything i possibly could! its winter in Australia now isnt it??" jess went on and on until they got to the school gate. "right what is up? why aren't you excited??"jess asked causing Aubree to snap back to reality. " I just don’t like change is all, my dad thinks this is such a good change for us, but my mum wont be out for another couple of months, what If 'we get there and no one likes us? we wont be in the same classes cause you're younger then me, what if I dont make any friends?? what if they don’t have Tetley tea there??" in a panicked voice aubree started to have a panic attack jess grabbed her by the shoulders "A, we are like twin sisters and have been for a very long time, we will be fine, It is an adventure! we will be in the same school and im only in the year below and Aubree you don’t even drink tea! " jess said laughing as her friend calmed down " I might change my mind" she laughed and they walked into school for the last time. the next morning Aubree woke up with her cat asleep on her head and jess's cat asleep at her feet she moved off the bed and looked around her empty room to find jess asleep on the floor. she giggled to her self and took a picture of jess and put it on twitter

Aubrees POV i stepped over jess and decided it was a good idea to leave her to sleep longer. I walked over to My wardrobe and opened it the only clothes left in there was the clothes i was flying in which was my favorite black skinny jeans a white nirvana top and a black and white checkered flannel top around my waist an black vans, my hair was in a bun on top of my head showing my cross tattoo on the back of my neck an arrow tattoo on my left forearm visible along with my feather bracelet tattoo on my right wrist and the anchor tattoo on the side of my palm whichwas new. after finishing up the last of her packing i went to put a small amount of make up on and then decided it was time to wake jess up. jess had already said good bye to her parents a siblings the hardest part was saying goodbye to our pets. my dog holly was already in australia with my farther me and jess were leaving today and my siblings would follow with the other pets a few weeks later and my mother would come over a few months later with jess's mum karen and the last of the furniture. Saying goodbye to my mother was hard, we had been close in the last few years and I hadn't been apart from her for this long in a long time, but at 17 years old i decided now was better then later. We Jumped in the taxi and waved good bye to our lives.

21 hours and 35 minutes later we arrived in Melbourne airport jet lagged and very tired my dad was waiting at the airport for us, I ran up to him and hugged him he had grew a lot of stubble in the few weeks he had been in Australia, he gave jess the same type of hug he gave me and we got in his car and drove to Hornsby to our new home, my dad had spent his whole life savings and his pension on our new home, and it was well worth it, the house was huge, the garden was massive with a pool at the back of the garden a basket ball court and a trampoline it also had a playground in it for my niece Isabella who was coming down in a couple of week, it was a 7 bedroom house with two living rooms a big kitchen and dining room my dad did a good job decorating the house, " Yours and jess' rooms are across from each other I hope you like them!" he said as me and jess raced up stairs to see them.

Jesses room black red and white 3 walls where black and one wall had london theamed wall paper on she had a stand full of dvds a metal desk with her laptop on that her mother must have sent over as she thought her sister had it a metal double bed against the wall by the window and a bed for her ginger cat ed, she also had posters on the wall

my room was across from the hall from hers and unlike jess' room mine was bright it was white and teal, ( my favorite color)my bed was on the far wall and was a white wooden kings sized bed I had two bay windows and a balcony one of the bay windows had a bench on with teal silver and grey pillows on the other had draws under it, the doors to the balcony was placed in between the windows and I had blue flowery wall paper on the wall where my bed was and on the far wall there was door which lead to my own bathroom i also had a massive book shelve that had photo frames of family members on and my book collection in I pulled my sketch book out my bag and put it on the shelve ,it fitted in perfectly.

we had a nice sleep and woke up confused jess slept in my room with me as we was talking before we fell asleep, we awoke hungry and walked down into the kitchen to find my dad talking to a woman around his age she was tall blonde and just like my mother, as the kitchen came into a better view I saw a tall blonde boy with big hair and lip piercings he looked around jesses age, 16 " hello sleepy heads!" my dad said to us, "this my friend liz we work together in the high school and this is her son Luke, he goes to your new school Richmond high, jess he is in your year" he said as if he was proud he found some one the same age as jess so she wasn’t alone tomorrow on our first day of Australian school. "Oh right, Hi Luke " jess said we all exchanges pleasantries and me jess and Luke ended up sat on the trampoline together
"so are you two sisters?" he asked politely I shook my head "no Just best friends" I said smiling " you look so much alike so you're both starting school tomorrow? year 10 and11 im
guessing?" typical I thought to myself, although i am a year and 2 months older then jess every one assumes I'm the younger one because jess is taller then me, me being a mere 5" 2 at the age of 17 and jess being 5" 8 at the age of 16 Jess laughed her contagious laugh "oh no no no, I'm starting year 11 and Aubree is starting year 12" Luke Looked Shocked and a bit embarrassed "my 3 best friends are in year 12 Aubree ill introduce you them tomorrow if you like so you're not all alone on your first day?" he asked " sure that would be nice thanks!" I Said smiling, " Luke, Were Going now Sweetheart" liz shouted to her son, "ill See You at school tomorrow?" he asked and we both nodded and smiled. We went to eat dinner and get ready for school tomorrow,
"its an adventure Aubs" Jess said when we parted ways at bedtime, yeah and adventure I thought as sleep took over my body slowly,
