Triggered

"Hey babe!" My heart nearly stopped as I walked into work. The sound of Harry's voice ringing out through the Aquarium causing several people to stop and look at the commotion made my want to jump with joy.

Yeah, that's right. I have a fucking boyfriend, go fuck yourselves, thank you very much. "Hey Harry." I smiled and walked over to him, feeling his large arms wrap around my waist pulling me into a tight hug. The feeling of his lips crashing into mine almost made me faint. God, why was his lips so damn addictive?!

"Babe?" I heard someone echo behind me. My eyes caught sight of Sidney walking from behind the Fish tanks, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Yes, babe... that's usually something you call your girlfriend or in your case boyfriend." his comment made me giggle.

"Since when are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?" Her voice sounded hurt, and I knew I should have called her to tell her the news.

"Since yesterday." I told her "Not that long"

She frowned "I didn't even know you two were a thing!" She cried.

"I'm sorry Sid!" I was desperate for her forgiveness, not sure if she was really angry or just kidding around. "Please forgive me!"

She gave me a smile "You are easy to mess with. I'm not angry love."

I frowned this time, and turned around looking like I was upset, but in all honesty, I wanted to see if she would fall for the same damn thing "Laney, are you alright hun? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to screw around with you." she said in a soft voice.

I knew I had caught her, so I spun around and threw a finger her way "HA! Got you Sid. Two can play that game."

She rolled her eyes "Your a big pain in the ass yah know that?"

I shrugged my shoulders and turned around to go to the cash register "Eh, I try." I had no clue why the hell I was in such a good mood? Was it Harry? Maybe it was. I mean I have been oddly happy go lucky the past day, and it made me confused. I should be sulking, I shouldn't be feeling happy at a time like this.

"Excuse me?" A voice said in front of me.

Slowly I looked up to come in contact with a girl... she looked oddly familiar, and finally it clicked "Wait... your... uh." her name couldn't filter in my brain though.

She gave me a crooked smile "Beau."

"That's right!" I snapped my fingers "Beau! How are you?"

She raised an eyebrow "Are you the same person I met at the coffee shop?" she seemed skeptical,

"Yeah, why?"

"You look more alive than before, and more happy."

SO THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! I FUCKING KNEW IT! "Oh, yeah. I've... cleaned myself up."

"Obviously. So, when were you planning on calling me?" Her brown eyes narrowed at me playfully.

"I actually spaced it. Um..." I thought around and I realized that I was going with Harry today after work so he and the boys could work some more on their music. Hell, their gig was tomorrow. It would be nice to have a girl around to chat with. "I'm going to the mountains after work today with my boyfriend so him and his band can work on some music. Would you like to come?" the word boyfriend felt different in my mouth and I found myself pausing before I said it.

"Since when did you get a boyfriend? Was this recently?" She asked, sounding genuinely curious.

I nodded and smiled "Yes actually, yesterday."

She smiled with me "What's his name?"

"Harry." I was most definitely proud to say his name.

"Wait, Harry Styles?!" She asked in shock.

My eyebrows shot up "Yeah, how did you know?"

"He's playing at the Bar tomorrow with his band! I've been a big fan of their music for a long time. I follow them on YouTube and I've listened to like everyone of their songs!" She sounded more happy about it then I was. "And your dating him?!"

I nodded, unsure of what to do "Yeah, he's here to if you would like to meet him."

"Your shitting me?" She asked in disbelief.

"Dead serious."

"HOLY SHIT! I would love to meet him!" She squeaked.

I smiled and looked over to where Harry and Sid was arguing about something. My mouth opened as I was about to call his name, but then I thought of a better idea "Baby!" I shouted.

Instantly Harry lifted his head and caught my gaze with his. He jogged over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist "I love the way you call me baby." he murmured in my ear, making my face flush red.

"I...uh- this is Beau... a friend I met at the coffee house. She says she knows your music." I choked out.

His eyes lit up and he turned to her, "Hello love." he flashed her his dimples making her blushed and let out another squeak.

"I listen to your music over and over again! I fucking love it. It pisses me off that your not famous yet." she frowned.

Her fangirling seemed to lift up his spirits on the whole fucked up situation a little bit more "We're trying... can't say its been easy, but we're, I guess you could say, making progress."

I kissed his cheek "Your trying your hardest, no one can ask for much more than that."

He smiled down at me and Beau looked like she was about to squeal again "I can't believe you two are dating! That is so flipping adorable! I ship it!"

I blushed and hid my face in Harry's chest "Awie, baby. Are you blushing?" he whispered to me.

"Leave it Curly, before I make you blush."

He laughed "You could only try."

I ignored him "I asked if Beau wanted to go with us today after work, is that okay?"

"of course love. You need someone to hang out with."
