The Original Heartbreak Girl

"Rose? Earth to Rose. Are you okay?" I looked up to see Ashton staring at me with a smirk on his face. After the concert the boys wanted to go out but I wasn't feeling it so I decided to go back to the hotel. Ashton had tagged along with me, so I would be alone. Luke had offered to come with me but I told him to go enjoy his night.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking."

"Thinking about what?" I bit my lip, wondering if I should tell him. I knew I could trust Ash, but did I want to burden him with my problem.

"What is it Rose?"

"Harry talked to me while you guys were on stage." Ashton instantly tensed up at the mention of Harry's name. The vein in the side of his neck began to stick out, the way it always did when he was angry.

"What did he say?"

"He told me that I was going to regret saying anything about what he did. He said all of us will regret it."

"What do you think he meant?"

"I don't know but I'm scared."

"We won't let anything happen to you Rose, don't worry."

"I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried about you guys. Especially Luke."

"Why? Harry won't hurt us."

"You don't know that, Ash. What if Harry had something to do with Luke getting jumped?"

"You thought that too?" Ash looked at me with worry on his eyes. So he thought Harry had something to do with it too.

"It all adds up. I didn't see Harry all night and then suddenly he pops up minutes before we find Luke beaten. He pointed me in the direction of Luke and said he had just seen him. If Harry had just seen Luke, he would've already have been beaten up. Why didn't Harry tell us that?"

"Also, all of Luke's attackers had their faces covered. One of them could of been Harry. And it was all pretty planned out. Whoever attacked Luke, had been planning it. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing."

"If Harry's capable of pulling off a attack like that on Luke, he can do it to any of us." I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. Ashton grabbed my hand and rubbed circles on it, trying to calm me down. He looked like he wanted to say something, but he couldn't seem to find the words.

"What now?" I shrugged, not sure how to respond to this.

"Is there anyway we get more security guards?" Ashton nodded and this relaxed me a little bit but not much. Before we could continue our discussion, Micheal and Calum burst through our door with a very drunk looking Luke.

"How much did you let him drink?" Ashton and I were both up now, looking at Luke. He was sweaty and he looked pale. They laid him down on the couch and he groaned.

"He only had two drinks." Calum answered with a worried look on his face. Luke looked bad. Something was wrong.

"I need a bucket." Ashton was up and running, trying to find the trash. He came out with the bathroom garbage and placed it in front of Luke. Luke bent over and threw up what sounded like a months worth of food. Once he was finished he leaned back on the couch, looking even paler. I placed my hand on his forehead, seeing if he had a fever.

"Luke how do you feel?" He looked dazed when he stared at me. Something was off about him. I was sure that it wasn't the alcohol that was making him feel like this.

"I feel kind of dizzy and something's wrong with my eyes. You're all kind of blurry and moving." He put his hands over his face as all of just watched him. I grabbed Ashton's arm and dragged him into the other room, Calum followed behind while Micheal stayed with Luke.

"This isn't the effects of drinking, something is seriously wrong with him. Calum did you see anyone put anything in his drink?"

"Wait, you think somebody drugged him?" Ashton's eyebrows were so raised, I honestly thought they might pop off his face.

"No, I didn't see anybody put anything in his cup."

"Did you set your drinks down at any point?"

"Yeah, but I didn't see anybody go near them."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, wait our waitress came to the table but she was just removing our plates."

"Or maybe she was slipping something into Luke's cup?"

"What do we do if she did?"

"We have to take him to the hospital." They both nodded and we headed back out to check on Luke. Micheal almost ran straight into us as we entered the living room.

"I think he passed out. He's still breathing but I can't wake him."

"Call 911." I ran over to Luke as Ash pulled out his phone. I checked his pulse and his breathing, they were both normal. I tried to shake him but he wouldn't wake.

"The ambulance is on it's way." We waited by Luke's side until the paramedics came in. We agreed that I would ride in the ambulance with him. I followed them out into the ambulance and got in with them. The other boys were going to meet us at the hospital.

"Are there any drugs in his system?" One of the paramedics asked me.

"We're not sure." They asked me about a dozen more questions until we finally got to the hospital. They took Luke into a room and left me in the boys to wait. I filled out Luke's paperwork then waited until the doctor came back out.

"Are you with Mr. Hemmings?" A doctor came in the room, once we all nodded he sat down.

"Your friend was drugged. We found large amounts of Gamma hydroxybutyrate, or GHB. We pumped his stomach and he'll be okay, he'll just feel a little out of it the next couple days. We have to make a report about this though. You can go check on your friend though."

Calum went with the doctor to file a report and the three of us headed into Luke's room. His eyes were closed when we walked in but when I grabbed his hand he looked up at me. we all took a seat around his bed, waiting for him to speak.

"What happened?" He was look at me with that same look of terror in his eyes.

"You were drugged Luke. Somebody put GHB in your drink while you were out." The fear in his eyes grew, causing my heart to break.

"What? Who would do that?" I shook my head, not sure what to tell him. I had an idea of who was behind it but I couldn't tell Luke that.

"We're not sure but we're gonna find out mate." Ashton rubbed his arm, trying to calm him.

"Can we go home?" I nodded my head, smiling at home.

"We'll go back to the hotel after Calum comes back."

"No, can we go home home? Back to Australia." He just looked so vulnerable, right now. I wish I could've told him yes.

"We have to finish out the tour, then we can go home." Ash patted his arm, but Luke still looked scared.

"It's going to be okay babe. I'm not going to let anything else happen to you." He put on a fake smile and gripped my hand. I knew it wasn't something I could promise but I had to try and give him hope.

"Okay, we can go." Calum poked his head in the door and we all got up. Ashton and I helped Luke out of bed and carried him outside. There was a cab already waiting for us. Micheal and Calum decided to stop at a store on the way back so it was just the three of us.

"Why is this happening to us?" I looked at Ash who just shook his head.

"I don't know baby." He leaned his head on my shoulder and I had to hold back tears. I had lied to Luke for the first time. This was happening because of me. It was all my fault, but I couldn't tell him that. How do you tell somebody that you love, that it's your fault that someone's trying to kill them?

I was going to fix this though. I knew how to, hopefully it would work.
