Rose's POV
"Where the hell are we going and why are we doing it at 1 in the morning?" Ashton whisper yelled as we snuck out of his house and into my car. Once we were in the car, I decided it was safe to tell him.

"I need to go to the drug store but I don't wanna go by myself and you're basically the closet thing I have to a girlfriend. We're going in the middle of the night because I don't need anyone taking a picture of what I'm buying."

"Oh my god, you're taking me to buy coke." He yelled as he threw his hands up in the air dramatically. I laughed at this and shook my head.

"You're such an idiot. Of course we're not buying drugs."

"What do you need that you don't want people to see then?" He asked with confusion in his voice. He was so clueless sometimes I swear.

"I need a pregnancy test you idiot."

"It's Luke's right?" He asked cautiously.

"Nope, it's yours Ash." I said sarcastically while giving him a weird look.

"I was just checking. I wasn't sure what you and Harry were up to over in London."

"Oh my gosh Ash. Nothing happened between Harry and I. Luke and I had sex a couple weeks ago and now my periods late."

"Have you talked to Luke about this?"

"No, I don't want to tell him unless it's for sure."

"Understandable but please tell him this time and do it soon so I don't have to keep another secret from him." We pulled into the parking lot of the 24-hour drugstore and I nodded in response to Ash's request.

"Okay, let's go get this over with." We walked in and headed straight back to the pregnancy tests. I picked one that said the earliest results, then went and payed for it. I asked for the key to the bathroom then headed towards it.

"I'll be out in like 5 minutes." I said to Ash as I headed into the bathroom. I quickly peed on the stick then waited. It felt like forever until my phone timer finally went off, telling me the five minutes were up. I nervously looked at the stick and almost passed out from what I saw. I stuffed it into my purse and walked to meet Ash.

"So?" He looked at me from where he was sitting on the floor. I kept on walking to the car as he rushed to keep up with me.

"Should our kid call you uncle Ash?" I saw a trace of panic on his face for a moment but then it was gone.

"It's going to be okay Rose." I nodded and got into the car without another word. I pulled up in front of Ash's house and turned to me with a worried expression.

"I'll be okay Ash, I'm just worried. I call you tomorrow after I tell Luke."

"Okay. Keep strong Rosie posie. I love you." He blew me a kiss and headed into his house. I backed out of his driveway and raced to my house. I parked in my driveway and then slid out of my seat. Before I could stop myself, I called Luke and waited for him to answer.

"Rosie? What's wrong?" He answered on the third ring and he sounded exhausted. I'm sure I had woken him up.

"Can I come over to talk?"

"Yeah. Remember how to sneak in my window?"

"Of course. See you in like ten seconds."

I walked over to his house and stood right under his window. I climbed up on the chair they had on their back porch and climbed up onto the roof of their house. I hoisted myself up a little further until I was right at Luke's window. He was waiting for me with the window open. He held out his hand and pulled me inside.

"Not too bad."

"I'm a little rusty but it wasn't awful." I used to be a pro at sneaking into his window.

"So what do you need to tell me that couldn't have waited until the morning?" He asked as he sat back on his bed. I sat down beside him and bit my lip, trying to think of how to phrase this.

"I'm pregnant." I heard him gasp in shock. I looked over to see just a hint of panic on his face.

"Are you sure?" He asked nervously, his eyes filled with panic now.

"Yeah. I just got home from the drugstore. That's why I'm up so late. I didn't want anyone to see me buying it."

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just a little scared."

"Are you okay?"

"I mean I'm scared but it'll be okay. I'm only 18 but a baby isn't the end of the world. What about touring?"

"Well I'll have to call and check with the tour manager but I should be able to do it still. The tour end in March and I won't be due until May. I'll just be huge on stage for a little while. If Beyonce can do it, so can I." He laughed at this and the tension in the room was finally broken.

"There's no one else that I would want to go through this with. I planned to marry you and have kids with you someday anyway, we're just starting a little early and doing it backwards." This made me smile and made the butterflies inside we fly. He wanted to marry me some day.

"So how badly is your mom going to freak when we tell her?"

"It'll be like an explosion but she'll calm down. She freaked about me quitting school and joining a band and look where that got me. She'll be fine." He laughed at this and I knew he was right.

"Can I stay here tonight?"

"Of course. Just set your alarm so you can sneak out before we get caught." I nodded and set my phone for eight. I crawled under the sheet with him and snuggled into him. I nestled my head into the crook of his neck and I could hear his heart beat.

I wanted to stay like this forever. The sound of his heartbeat lulled me sleep while he sung quietly to me. Everything was perfect at that moment. I wish I could've pressed paused and just stayed like that. Too bad things didn't work like that.
