The Wedding Planner

Chapter Fourteen

Harry’s POV
Last night with Kennedy was one of the best nights we ever had together. I knew she wasn’t comfortable with her body just yet but I hope that last night I got through to her by letting her know that I thought she was beautiful inside and out. It was the truth and I wanted her to see it so bad. I knew I got through to her a little bit last night and I planned on getting her to see herself as beautiful soon. I felt content that she stayed the night and slept right next to me. It felt right to be able to wake up next to her beautiful face and see that she was mine. We may have only been together for two months but I knew that she was going to be the one I married. She was the one that I wanted to have a family with and come home to every day. I was currently cooking some breakfast for the both of us when I heard footsteps. I was lightly humming Little Things when I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist.

“Morning love,” I replied.

“Morning,” she said her voice having a slight rasp to it which I found very sexy, “How did you sleep?”

“Better that you slept next to me,” I replied and I could picture her smiling and rolling her eyes, “Did you sleep well?”

“I did actually,” she said and I smiled at her response, “You’re chest is quite comfortable.”

I grinned at that comment and handed her a cup of tea.

“Just the way you like it,” I replied and she smiled at me.

“Thank you,” she replied and kissed my cheek.

“Anything for you,” I said and she just laughed at my cheesiness.

She then sat up at the breakfast bar and stared at me while I finished up breakfast.

“So what’s on the menu Chef Styles?” she asked.

“Captain Crunch French Toast, eggs, and bacon,” I replied grinning at her and she smiled.

“My favorite,” she grinned as I handed her a plate.

“I figured you might like it,” I replied as she followed me out to the living room where I turned on the telly and we watched the news.

They had the gossip part on the news and we both laughed when we saw us on the screen running from the restaurant last night.

“And last night Harry Styles and current girlfriend Kennedy Wilker were caught rushing out of the new karaoke bar Singer’s Paradise late last laughing and grinning like lovers. Looks like things are going smooth for the flirt of One Direction,” the news anchor said and I heard Kennedy giggle.

“I’m still not shocked that you became the flirt,” she said when I gave her a confused look, “You always were a flirt.”

I then just rolled my eyes as she giggled more and ate her breakfast. This was the thing I missed most about her moving out and living in her parents’ flat. She was so far away that we could never do this and it pained me. I loved her with every fiber in my being but she was being cautious with this relationship and I wondered why. Kennedy never really talked about her past with anyone and the only person who knew it was Andrea. I knew Kennedy never liked talking about her past but I felt that there was something she wasn’t telling us completely. I was shaken out of my thoughts when I felt someone shaking me.

“You okay Harry?” Kennedy asked a worried look across her beautiful face.

“Yeah I’m fine,” I lied and she sighed knowing I was lying.

“You’re lying,” she said and grabbed the plate out of my hand and set it on the coffee table.

She turned off the telly and turned to face me.

“What’s on your mind?” she asked and I sighed hoping this wasn’t going to cause a fight.

We hadn’t fought since that huge blow out over nothing and I didn’t want to cause another fight but I needed her to open up. I knew she was guarded still even though she tried to play it off like she wasn’t. I knew Kennedy very well and she’s never changed. She was still the same person I grew up with back in Holmes Chapel. I took her hand in mine and drew random shapes on the palm of her hands. I took a deep breath and looked up at her.

“How come you don’t talk about your past in America?” I asked quietly, “I noticed whenever someone asks you about it you dance around the question and change the subject.”

I heard her sigh and I looked up at her to see her face show an emotion I didn’t recognize at all.

“I knew you were going to ask sooner or later,” she said quietly, “but I’m not going to change the subject but I want to give you your present from last night.”

She then quickly disappeared and came back with a bag. I looked at her confused and she smiled lightly.

“I had Lou hide while the boys were getting you ready,” she said and I nodded my head in understanding.

She handed me the present and sat down next to me and I opened it up slowly. I took out all of the tissue paper and looked into the bag and smiled lightly at it. I pulled out a CD and looked at her confused.

“You’ll have to play it when I’m not around,” she said smiling and I nodded my head a bit confused.

I then pulled out a real professional looking coupon book and smiled at the cover. I read Loving Coupons on the cover and looked at her and she smiled.

“You have 12 booklets in there,” she said, “so that’s 365 coupons to use at your disposal.”

I grinned at the idea and she continued.

“However they all expire by November of next year,” she said, “so use them wisely. Also each coupon book is different. They’re all not the same.”

I grinned and pulled her into a kiss and thanked her.

“I love it,” I grinned but she smiled and told me to look back in the bag.

I then noticed a set of keys at the bottom of the bag and looked at her confused.

“It’s a set of keys to my flat,” she said, “I know you don’t like that we live in separate places so I thought that if you had a key to my flat you could come over whenever you wanted to.”

I then grinned at the two little keys hanging on the keychain in my hands and kissed her passionately. She was caught off guard but recovered quickly. I pulled her onto my lap and soon she was straddling my legs while I held her back pushing her closer to me. I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance and she granted me access and we fought for dominance. However before I could take it to the next level we were rudely interrupted when the door to my flat opened and we heard everyone’s voices. They all walked in and Louis, being Louis made the comment.

“Going for round two mate?” he asked and I saw Kennedy blush bright red and I sighed.

“What’s it to you mate?” I asked, “You and Eleanor do it while everyone’s in the same flat.”

I started laughing at both Lou’s and Eleanor’s faces. This caused Kennedy to laugh with me and soon everyone was laughing.

“Well I see last night went well,” Andrea said looking at my present.

“It did,” Kennedy replied, “We had a lovely time together, and we’re still not done. If I remember correctly we said we would call you when we were finished.”

Everyone’s face then dropped at Kennedy’s comment and I smirked lightly.

“Well then,” Andrea said pretending to be offended, “I guess we’ll just leave then. I can tell when we’re not wanted.”

Everyone else caught on and they all laughed shaking their heads while Kennedy showed them out. She shut the door and locked the door and came back to the couch and looked at me.

“Would you like me to explain what I’ve been doing the past three years before I came back now?” she asked and I shook my head yes while holding my breath.
