YouTube Little Sisters

“Whoa! You look like you got ran over by a truck.” Connor said when I walked out of my room Friday and I sighed as I walked to the kitchen. I didn’t believe his comment deserved a response so I just continued into the kitchen to get a drink before I took my shower. I took a ten minute shower then walked back into my room with a towel around me.

“Tarah is here!” Connor yelled as I opened my closet door. I hurried and picked out my Ed Sheeran hoodie and a pair of jeans, then put my underwear on and my clothes followed. I looked at the time and saw it was almost 7:00 and I know that is when Tarah wants to leave for school. I put my hair in a bun and decided to go natural today. I knew my glasses were in their case in my backpack so I just picked that and my phone up and went down the stairs.

“Ready to go?” Tarah asked me and I nodded my head. I gave Connor a quick hug then followed her out to her car. She is giving me a ride today, because Connor and I are spending the night with her and Tyler tonight so we can film some collabs.

“You ok?” Tarah asked as she began to drive and I put my glasses on. I pulled down the visor so I could make sure I looked somewhat presentable for school.

“Just a minor head ache, but I’ll be fine. Oh crap I forgot to ask Harry for you!” I said remembering her request three days later and face palming.

“Don’t worry. That night Ashton told me he and the other were coming. So what exactly is happening between the two of you?” Tarah asked slowing to a stop at a stop light, then turning to look at me with a raised eyebrow.

“We are just friends. Think about it. He is famous and can have any girl and like I said that day, I am the freak from YouTube, who can’t really talk to people without inwardly freaking out.” I replied looking straight ahead.

“Yet you are so calm around him, babe. Just think about that.” Tarah said before turning and facing the road again. When we got to school we didn’t have enough time to stop at our lockers before first period so we just took our bags with us.

“Kill that solo!” Tarah said before she went into the band room. When I walked in I noticed we had a sub which meant it was a free day to do homework or anything else, so I went and placed my bag in the one practice room that held both the guitar and piano. I looked at the sub and noticed it was Mr. Friend. No joke that is he legal name, but trust me he is far from friendly most of the time. After he took attendance I hurried into the practice room and found Tarah sitting in a chair holding the guitar smiling.

“What are you doing here?” I asked as I sat on the piano bench.

“Well we have a sub today, some kind of music department meeting, and I saw your stuff in here and thought, “why not join her’?” Tarah said as I turned on the piano. I laughed and nodded my head as I took my phone out of my bag and placed it on top of the piano.

“So what do you want to play?” she asked looking at me expectantly. I figured I might as well work on my solo.

“Do you know how to play ‘Burning Gold’ by Christiana Perri?” I asked her and she nodded her head. We began to play and I began to sing along when I was supposed to. We spent the rest of the class period playing and singing random songs and of course taking pictures. As I was walking to second period I felt my phone vibrate which meant I was either getting a call or a text. I took my phone out of my pocket and saw it was a text.

Harry: TGIF!!!!!!
I literally laughed out loud at his random message.
Me: IKR!
I put my phone in my backpack’s front pocket as I entered the classroom since I have Mrs. Flowers and she is the strictest teacher on the cell phone policy at school. I went to my seat in the back of the class and pulled out the computer the school supplies for everyone. They don’t have anything blocked so I pulled up Twitter and scrolled through my feed.

“Miss. Franta please put your computer up we will not be needing it for this class period.” Mrs. Flowers said and I nodded my head, but as soon as she turned her back I rolled my eyes at her. The rest of the school day went by really slow and I hated it. I met Tarah at her locker then we walked to her car together.

“Of Monsters and Men?” she asked me as we both buckled up and I nodded my head. She got the CD and put it in the CD player and rolled down all the windows. I crossed my legs in the seat and took my phone out and saw I had a message from Harry and one from Abi.

Abi Bae: Can’t come next week after all! :( College is kicking my butt!
I frowned at the text and told Tarah who then frowned, but came up with a good idea. We can hang out with the boys somewhere indoors and Skype with Abi while we hang out with them. As of right now Nikki is still coming so we that won’t be a problem.

Me: Stupid college :( Can’t you bring your homework with you and like get it early?

I then went to check the message I got from Harry.

Harry: We are flying in tomorrow, but we have shows and interviews all week except for Friday. We could meet up for dinner or something sometime this week though.

“So apparently they are busy all week except for Friday and they would like to have dinner with us one night.” I said before I replied to his message.

“Let’s do it!” Tarah said and I laughed at her excitement. The rest of the way to her house was full of us laugh and talking about all the “What If’s” of this week. When we got to her and Tyler’s place we hurried inside since it’s the end of September and it tends to get a little chilly, but not by much.

“Hey, how was your day?” Tyler asked the both of us as we walked through the door.

“It was ok. Just every other day in junior year. There are people you don’t like and people you do.” I said with a shrug.

“Wow don’t get all philosophical on us now little Clair.” Tyler said laughing as I plopped down on their couch and placed my bag down in between my legs as I unlocked my phone to play a game.

“If it makes your day better I bought Swedish Fish for tonight.” Tyler said before he left to his room. I looked up from my phone and saw Tarah smiling down at her phone.

“I’m going to go out on a limb and say you are texting Ashton.” I said and she nodded her head without looking up from her phone. I was on Wattpad reading a fanfiction and listening to music with my earbuds in. Right now ‘Closer To Love’ by Matt Kearney was on. I got an alert that I had a snapchat so I opened it and saw it was from Harry. I snapped him back asking how he found out my snapchat. I actually have two, a personal one and ones for my fans and somehow Harry found out my personal.

“Hey do know what time Connor is going to get here?” Tyler shouted out of his room and I heard him over my music.

“Nope. Why don’t you call or text him Ty Ty?” I shouted back and waited for a response that I never got. I went back to playing the game and listening to music. An hour later Connor got here and we all decided that we needed to go to the store to get a couple things that we needed.

“Whipped cream for sure!” I said as Tarah and I ran ahead in the isle. We each grabbed like five can and ran to put them in the cart then ran and got five more.

“What are you two planning on doing with all of these?” Connor asked looking down into the cart at the twenty cans of whipped cream. Tarah and I continued looking for items we wanted to get and completely ignoring him.

As of now it is one in the morning and we are all on our computers editing our videos. ‘Do You Wanna Build a Snowman’ came from my phone and I knew I was either getting a call from Zoe or Abi. I picked up the phone and when I answered I found out it was Abi.

“What’s going on Abigail?” I asked using her full name just to piss her off and I could tell I had succeeded by the loud huff she gave.

“Nothing much Clariebella?” she asked trying to annoy me, but not succeeding.

“Editing videos with the other three goofs. What’s up with you?” I asked pausing a take of the video I was looking at.

“Working on homework. So have you checked your email?” she asked me and I replied with no and that I would check it now. I logged into my email account and saw an email from YouTube headquarters. I opened it and a smile instantly came on my face.

“Oh my gosh yes!!!!” I said into the phone and heard Abi laugh.

“Me and my sibs are totally in. do you know about the others?” she asked me and I took my phone away from my ear to ask them.

“Hey have you checked your email lately?” I asked and they all shook their heads.

“Well headquarters wants to know if the four of us, Abi, Zoe, Joe, Nikki, and Troye want to go on like a siblings’ tour in June. Tarah and I would have to do it after graduation, but I’m sooooo in. what do you say?” I asked looking around the room.

“I’m in no matter is Tar comes or not.” Tyler said.

“Wow big brother of the year right here, but yeah I’m in also.” Tarah said and we all turned and looked at Connor.

“What’s stopping us? Let’s do it!” he said and we all cheered and I put my phone back up to my ear.

“So in. Have you called Nikki or T yet?” I asked her and she said she was planning on calling after we hung up. We talked for a little bit longer, but then she hung up and I emailed headquarters back for all four of us saying we were in. shortly after I got an email back saying they want to meet with us this coming week so we can come up with some ideas and so we can start promoting it.
