Love?
Kennedy POV
Ugh thank you Jesus that my basketball practice just finished. Well i guess I can't actually practice because I have a broken leg, but I still go to every practice and I'm super lazy so I'm exhausted. My older sister had a basketball game in some town that I dont really care what the name of it is. I'm not really sure where it's at but it was like 2 and a half hours away. Both my mom and my dad went so I was supposed to find a ride home, but all of my friends live close to the school so they walked, which means I have to walk home. Ya I know I'm 18 and I should be driving but I don't have a car so I have to walk. I live a little over a mile out of town so the walk is about 2 miles total. For as lazy as i am, I don't mind walking home unless it is like really cold out and it wasn't too bad tonight. It was just windy so there was snow blowing everywhere. (Screw you winter.) So anyway, practice just ended and I grabbed my back pack and started walking. I was colder out than I thought. In 30 minutes I had only walked like 4 blocks.
"Great at this rate I'll be home in like 3 hours." I muttered to myself.
A car drove up to me and somebody asked me if I needed a ride. I just ignored them and kept walking, because it probably isn't very smart to get a ride from a complete stranger. They asked again but this time it was a different voice.
The voice said, "Do you need a ride? It's really cold outside."
Another voice said, "Its blizzarding out. Please let us give you a ride."
I could tell they were around my age by their voices. As I looked at the van to say something, one of my gay-ass crutches decided to trip me by slipping on the ice and I landed on my stomach. I heard doors slam.
"Ah shit. They are going take me and kill me. Fuck. Get up get up." I was thinking to myself.
Five boys came running out of the car to me.
One of them asked, "Are you ok, love?"
Love? They are British? I couldn't get up because of my dumb cast and the ice.
"Ya I'm fine." I replied.
I felt someone grab my waist and pull me up. When I turned around, there was a super hot guy standing there. He had a buzz cut and amazing eyes. Now that I mentioned it, they are all pretty attractive.
"Damn." i said probably a bit loud than i should have.
The curly haired boy must of heard me cause he chuckled. The guy with the buzz cut said, "I insist we give you a ride home. We don't want you to get hurt."
I can't believe I was going to say this but, "Oh what the hell, YOLO. But you guys have to promise i won't end up cut into pieces in the trunk.." I said.
The guy with the buzz cut said, "I promise you are safe with us."
They helped me into the car and asked me where I lived.
I said, "You go east about 1 mile out of town and then head north about half a mile."
They all just stared at me like I was crazy.
One of them said, "You were going to walk a mile and a half, during a blizzard, with crutches, at 9 o clock at night?"
"Ya I guess, but dont think i always do this much exercise. Im probably the most lazy person on this planet and besides it wouldn't have been the first time." I said.
"Wow." Another replied.
"Ya and I didn't happen to catch any of your names." I said.
The guy with blonde hair spoke up first, "My names Niall."
" I'm Harry." said the one with curly brown hair.
The one with black hair said, "Zayn."
"Louis!" the one with short brown hair screamed. He screamed so loud that I cringed.
"Geesh Lou, don't scare her." said the guy with a buzz cut. "Oh and my name is Liam."
"Well its great to meet you guys. My names Kennedy. Now turn left on this next road." I said.
Harry was driving and as he was turning, the car started sliding.
"Everybody hang on." he yelled.
I didn't have a seat belt on because there were only 5 seats so I grabbed onto the closest thing to me (because dying wasn't on my today's to do list!) I shut my eyes and felt arms wrap around me. The car started spinning on the road.
Finally the spinning stopped and we were quiet. The car was sunk pretty deep into the snowy ditch.
Harry yelled, "Is everyone ok?"
