My mom and dad are fighting again. But this time its worse than usual we could here things breaking. We being my Sister and me. We are almost the same age she is one year younger. We were listening to music when my mom burst in. She was very boody and crying. "Mom! what did he do to you!?" i shouted. "Mom... I kill him!" Madison said. "I-i'm fine y-you arent safe h-he's dru-drunk. you need to pack your things and r-run away!" she said gasping for air holding her stomach. i started crying "m-mom what- why are you bleeding?" i asked. she moved her hand. we gasped. she was stabbed. "y-you guys need to pack and go now!" she yelled. we didn't even argue with her because she never yells. we cryed the entire time but we still did. "o-ok dont let him catch y-you guys. An-and donnt make it obvouis." once your far enogh c-cal 911." her words were gettin softer and softer. She gave us a box . "Th-this box has ev-evrything you need." she said we heard foot steps "Jone get back in here im not done with you!!!1" my father shouted. "shit." my mom whiispered. We were now shoving things in our tiny bags and into the box. we hugged our mother one last time crying harder and harder now. "I l-love you. W-wacth ou-out f-for your sister." she said. "i-i-i l-love y-y-you t-t-too.A-and i-i pr-prom-mis-s-se" we were crying EXTRA hard. then we climbed out the window. i turned around once we were out one last time. my mom mouthed the words "go. i love you guys." and with that my father stabbed her in the back with a glass. i couldn't even cry or any thing i'd just watched my mother die.i knew i had to be strong for me and for madison. but mostly for mom. Madison just stood there. i pushed her but she didnt walk. she was frozen in place. i picked her up and began to run. i was on the track team last year before i graduated so i ran pretty fast. i didnt no where we were but i felt safe. it was an abandoned home. i laid madison down on the floor andd sat beside her with her head in my lap she had fallen asleep.
