You know my name not my story.

Fallen for the curls.

"How much longer?" Kimberly asked, in a pleading tone. Her foxy blond wild curls bouncing out of her bun she had pinned on top of her head.

"Still fifteen minutes to go."

The arena was filled with giggling teenage girls. Now and than you heard a loud squeal while Kimberly kept ranting about everything what happened at home the past days, and usually I would listen but right now I couldn't care less and look straight in front of me, not practically at something. Mostly, I'm the one rambling around things. Being loud and hyper but now I just could't find any emotion. Now I was fiddling at my fingernails, which were freshly painted pale pink. It was a horrible habbit I had when I was impatient. I wondered how she could be so relaxed, this wasn't how she usually was. I expected her bouncing up and down, squaling, but no. She was just sitting in her chair besides me, rambling about her parents. We were here, they day was finally here. 1st may 2013. The first time our favorite band was coming to our country and we had tickets. We were the lucy ones, that got tickets in less than eleven minutes.

I remember how it was an adventure for me to get these tickets. I was so thankfull for everything. It had been an incredible journey. Kimberly and I had been in a fight all summer. And randomly we had started talking again. It was only a month later when it had been announced these boys came to our country and we decided to both go seperately. She was going along with another girl, and I would go with my two best friends. Somehow she managed to get tickets, while I didn't. Later on that girl she went along with called off and the ticket came free.

The six months of counting flew by and from the moment the friend called off, I had this feeling there was a reason for this all. The feeling that goes across your entire body, from the top of you head 'till your tiptoes. It was excitement, yes, but to me it also was more. I couldn't describe how I felt. I just knew, something was about to happen. I just couldn't point out what that something was.

Two voices with strong British accents suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts, more likely my flashbacks. I looked around desperately and a curly headed girl got my attention immediately. I tried catching my breath, but even out of the entire arena, all the useful air had seemed to dissapear. I could feel my heart beating faster, always needing more and more. Everything in my body clung together, as I had swallowed some glue to make it all one big stone. One of the girlfriends of this worldwide boyband, one of the luckiest girls on earth, was sat right next to me.

“ONE DIRECTION! ONE DIRECTION! ONE DIRECTION!” The crowd sang louder and louder as the clock was ticking. But I didn't sing along. I felt everything around me dissapear, just seeing Danielle Peazer in front of me, was the best thing I could have imagined.

I was screaming, smiling, dying inside. But my facial expressions were gone. I didn't have a smile spread across it, or lips shaped in a perfect 'O' form, no. Nothing. Like I had stopped having feelings, emotions.

“Are you alright sweetheart? You seem pretty flabbergasted but don't worry, they are just normal guys. Nothing special.” Eleanor joked as she saw in which state I was and it actually got me out of my trance and after what seemed a million years, my lips curled up a bit. Danielle turned around to see who Eleanor was talking to, which made her face me and with that ,a tear rolled down my cheek.

“Are you sure you're alright?” Danielle finally spoke to me, ducking her head so it was at my eye level. I shook my head without thinking about it. I just did it. Soon her arms were wrapped around me tight, her body vibrating as she giggled.

“Danielle.” I spoke rather calm, I had thought it would come out with a stutter but it didn't, she had this relaxing spirit in her hug, which made me calm down a little. She nodded pulling back. "You mean so much to me. I can't explain how I'm feeling right now. I... I can't even realise I'm talking to you, I just... I don't know how I'm doing this.” I continued, still in the same calm tone as before. My voice had some cracks but at the end I started smiling. She smiled pulling away slightly.

“That's really sweet darling. And you know, I really do love your T-shirts. Did you make them?" She laughed, pointing and the T-shirts Kim & I were wearing. I nodded and I couldn't be happier with the words she had just said. I had worked so long on these T-shirts. I had bought 2 oversized white T-shirts, dipdyed them in a lighter shade of red and then start writing quotes of the boys on the back of it. On the front I had written what I and Kim prefered. I had "I've fallen for the curls" and Kimberly had "I'm with the Irish."

Danielle took a picture of our T-shirts and posted them on instagram and asked for my twitter name.

I hugged her briefly as the lights faded and the screams of the girls became louder. It was the moment we had been waiting on. For years, months, weeks, days, minutes and seconds. It was time. We were about to see One Direction for the first time of our lifes.

*********

"That was just the best show ever." I spoke as we stood up from our seats. Kim let out a loud yawn while she nodded. As we queued in the line to leave the arena, someone called us back. "Amelia! Wait! Eleanor spoke in her lovely voice. She gave her backstage pass to Kimberly. That last one put it over her head, like she was a winner on the olympics and Danielle did the same to me.

"You're giving us the..?" They both nodded, I needn't to finish the sentence. "We see them regulary and we will see them back in the hotel. You guys won't, so enjoy this moment. You two deserve it, we have told Liam and Louis you are coming and they told Paul. It's alright.”

Kimberly and I both wrapped our arms around the two women quickly and gave them a small wave before we headed off to the backstage, where Paul was attending us.

"Amelia & Kim?" We both nodded, holding our breath. Paul opened the door and lead us into a million hallways which seemed never ending, we passed millions of doors, but none was the boys dressing room. Paul greeted everyone he saw, and we followed his lead and after what seemed ages we finally arrived. With every step we took, my heart started beating faster, with how louder their voices sounded.

Paul knocked on the door softly. "Boys, the girls are here." He spoke in his low Irish voice and opened the door.

The five boys appeared as angels in front of us, small drops of sweat rolling down their forehead. They seemed diamonds brighting in the sunlight. They all seemed so vunurable, that once we came closer they would dissapear as snow when the warm sun appeared again.

With a smile formed on my lips I stepped in the room. "I'm Amelia." I spoke, reaching my hand out to no one in particular, but Kimberly was left as speechless as I was when I saw Danielle. Tears coming down her cheecks and I knew she felt exactly as I had felt a few hours ago.

"You're the girl that has been nice to Danielle!" Liam said excited and I nodded. "Thank you." he mouthed in my ear as we hugged. I just shrugged it off, It wasn't something I did for him or for her. I enjoyed it probably the most and than he turned away, skipping back to Niall and Zayn, who were adorably playing with Loki and didn't quite give us one look.

"Harry!" Louis' loud voice suddenly filled the room, which drew all my attention to the two best friends I had always seen as the perfect bromance, a perfect friendship. I met Harry's gaze and blushed. Lately I've been having something for him. I had been a Liam girl since the beginning but there was something about Harry. I just didn't know what.

Kimberly was still standing in the dooropening, she had to let this all sink in, while I, to my surprise, already did that.

"So I see you've fallen for the curls?" Zayn concluded. I thought he hadn't noticed us, but now it was confirmed he had. Just because we weren't these ultimate fangirls, he didn't look at us like that I guess, which for some point I liked.

I smiled at the tiled floor awkwardly and nodded. My eyes looked over to Harry who had this huge dimpled grin plastered on his face as Louis whispered something in his ears. I tried my best not letting my eyes wander over his perfect unclothed torso, which was incredibly hard and made my breath hitch in my throat. His eyes rested on me as he nodded and blushed to whatever Louis had said, which made me wonder what that was.

Harry came forward me. "Time to make a picture with me than, isn't it?" He spoke slowly, his green orbs drew into my blue ones. I felt a little spark as his fingers brushed the T-shirts that hovered around my waist. I took a deep breath as I handed Louis the camera. I felt weird to only have a pic with Harry, wasn't it a thing they all did together? Taking pictures with fans. I tried to fix my hair and put on a smile. I felt Harry's eyes on my face, instead looking to the camera, but I couldn't bare to look up in his green eyes.

The flash went off and Louis handed me back the camera. "Is it a good one?" Harry asked, taking the camera before I had the chance to. He displayed the picture and I felt a shiver coming down my spine.

The picture was stunning. I was smiling at the camera, my hair still in a messy bun on top of my head, the letters on my shirt were clear as Harry stared at me, his lips parted slightly, smiling, but not that kind of smile that would make his dimples appear. His eyes burrying into my side and his soft dark curls pushed back. "Perfect." He whispered, his hot breath against my skin.

"Time for a grouppic!" Niall skipped around us and dropped each of his arms in our necks. Harry lost his grip on my waist as Niall wiggled his body between ours and dragged us to the others.

Niall and Louis folded their hands to make Kimberly sit on them, and soon they lifted her as a queen. Later Harry and Liam did the same for me. Zayn just stood between us and pointed with his arms spread open and pounting since he didn't get the chance to hold a girl. We stared at Paul, who just laughed at us, shaking his head slightly.

I made a crazy face but laughed at the same time. I adored being here, in the arms of the guys I thought would never know about my excistance. As the flash went off, the boys dropped us again and gave each of us a really tight hug. Harry was the last one to wrap his arms around me. I breathed in the smell of his cologne, I wanted to imprint his smell for the rest of my life.

A tear rolled down my cheeck as he loosened his arms around me, but nothing could destroy this moment, I was happy. "Don't cry." He smiled, drying the tear with his thumb, which lasted on my cheek for a little bit longer. I pushed him away completely by staking a step back. Confused features crossed his face and I just chuckled lightly. “You're frustrating.”

His eyes narrowed and he shot me a croocked smile. “You're a popstar, my idol, a heartstealing liferuiner, you're not supposed to dry my tears.” I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest, acting mad at him but he turned plain serious. “I'm fine being just Harry, nice to meet you.” He stretched out his hand towards me. I looked at it for a while, it took me a few second to realise what he was doing. We were meeting, not as Harry Styles from one direction and a fan called Amelia, we were meeting as Harry and Amelia, just normal people, which we actually both were. I gratefully shook it. “Amelia.” He nodded and let his hand fall back to his side.

“We need to get going, it was a pleasure to meet you two and maybe we'll see you later?” Louis than announced to us. I stuck my thumb up. “I hope!” I shouted when we both headed out seperate ways.

Kimberly and I tried our best to remember the way we had come in and it took us a well five minutes to finally find the exit. We had skipped through the hallways proudly flaunting with the camera and autographs in our hands. Once we were outside Harry and Louis stood by my parents car, casually talking to my mum.

"What are you doing here?" I laughed at the two boys.

“Well I said see you later.” Louis spoke. “It's later, so we got to see you.” Harry finished. I gave them. I placed my hand on my forehead and smiled. “That's very sweet but can someone pinch me right now because this isn't funny. I'm dreaming.”

Harry walked towards me and gave me a small pinch in my arm. “Not dreaming. We like our fans, just accept that fact.”

“Nah,” I protested. “You just like girls. But that's okay.”

Louis chuckled at my comment and I waved them off stepping into the car. “It was really nice to see you guys, it was a dream coming true. But now head back to your rockstar life and I will head back to my daily one.” With that I closed the car and left them standing there outside, waving like two childish boys who just had to say goodbye to their granny.

Yep, I just compared myself to a granny.

“I can't believe how you stayed so calm I swear.” Kimberly stuttered, still recovering from the past hours.

I just shrugged. “At the concert itself I saw them as one direction, biggest popband. And when we first got in, I did too. But later on I met Harry, not the heartstealing popstar.”
