“Claire, c’mon! Let’s get away from these freaks!” Orlando’s voice carried through the alley.

Claire’s mind cleared and she watched the boy with the ruthless emerald eyes clench his jaw and ball his fists by his sides. She gulped down in fear, knowing that it wouldn’t result in anything good. She was spun and dragged away by Orlando as she tried to get one last look at the boy who had been on her mind since Lucy had told her about him. The boy who had broken her best friend’s heart. The boy who had become a problem in Lucy’s life. The boy who was threatening to become a problem in hers.
