Chapter 34

Harry's POV

It had been a few days since Stan had passed away and we were all still a little down about it so I had decided to close the club tonight and hold a private function in memory of him.

And it was also my way of seeing how Kasey does around a larger group of people.

I still wasn't sure if this was a good idea but I was going through with it and bringing Kasey along with me, plus I've been dying to have a reason for Kasey to get all dolled up. I had never seen her that dressed up before and I was getting impatient to see how beautiful I know she will look.

"Does this look okay?" I heard Kasey's voice inside our bedroom and quickly looked in the mirror one last time.

I wrapped a grey scarf around my neck loosely before deciding that I was happy with my look and walked out of the bathroom to see Kasey standing in the middle of the room, looking rather nervous.

My eyes grew wide as I took every inch of her in, she looked flawless.

I nearly had to pick my jaw up off the ground as I watched her giggle at my reaction before she twirled in her spot to show me that the back of her long black floor length gown was lace and showed off her lovely milky skin.

Her hair was in it's natural yet beautiful curls and she had added a very dark red to her lips that worked perfectly with her gown.

"You, my little princess, look stunning and so grown up." I pouted as the last two words slipped past my lips and she looked up at me sadly.

"But I'll always be your little princess if you want me too."

I smiled down at her while placing my hands on her cheeks carefully so that I wouldn't ruin her make up.

"You will always be my little girl, but sometimes it's okay to dress up for me." I smirked and bent down to connect our lips and she giggled as she pulled away and reached out to wipe the lipstick from my lips.

"Oh! I have a surprise for you!" I beamed as I let go of her and walked into the wardrobe.

I had brought Kasey her first pair of high heels to go with her dress tonight.

Kasey had just about every colour of converse and doc martins but before today I had never brought her a pair of high heels, mainly because I felt like it was making her grow up more and I didn't want that. I have known and watched Kasey grow since she was thirteen and seeing her in heels for the first time just makes it seem like she's not my little girl.

I walked back out to our bedroom with the shoe box in my hand and smiled happily as I told her to sit down on the bed.

"These princess are called-" As I opened the box, Kasey cut me off with a small laugh before shaking her head.

"There high heels Harry, I know."

I laughed too before scrunching my eyebrows together.

"How did you know?" I asked as I carefully held the shoe up for her and she slipped her foot in slowly, like a Cinderella moment.

"Eleanor let me try hers on when I stayed the night with her."

I knew it wasn't a good idea to let Eleanor around Kasey so often. She's stealing moments from me that I wanted to share with Kasey, but I guess I can't be too mad with how much time Kasey has been spending with me over the past few days after her nightmare.

She wouldn't even let me get out of bed this morning.

"These look really expensive Harry." Kasey whispered as she smiled down at her new shoes.

"Only the best for my girl." I kissed her one last time on the cheek before we made our way to the car outside that I had arranged to take us into town.

The ride was short and simple and I needed to talk seriously with Kasey before we got there, yet I found myself too distracted by the way she looked.

"I need to talk with you before we go inside." I spoke lowly as I tried my hardest to keep my eyes locked with Kasey's. We had about ten minutes before we arrived at the club so I had to do this now.

A look of nervousness washed through her eyes before she nodded softly.

"Okay, when we go inside there will be quite a few people that you haven't meet and unless I say otherwise, I want you to introduce yourself as Bambi okay?"

"B-but that's my middle name." She stuttered out as her eyes widened in fright.

"I know sweetheart but you know how dangerous owning a club can be and I don't want people stalking you or anything."

She gulped and nodded, I felt horrible for hiding the fact that the reason she couldn't use her first name was because there was so many criminals that will be there but she can't know.

I smiled at her to try and ease her tension before peppering little kisses along her neck to help her calm down.

When the car had slowed to a stop, her breath hitched and she looked at me panicked.

"Don't worry my pretty little Bambi, you'll be fine."

After a few short breathes, we entered the club and to my surprise everything looked great.

We had a picture of Stan by the stage and people were taking turns going up and sharing their favourite memories of him.

"Lets sit in our booth." I whispered in Kasey's ear and she nodded knowing exactly what I meant. We always sat in the booth close to the bar and in the corner, it was also furthest from the stage so Kasey won't be able to hear much of what people saying regarding Stan and their memories that could possibly have something to do with the gang.

"I'll go get us a drink." I stated as Kasey slid into our booth and I gave her a quick kiss before walking downstairs to the wine cellar and finding the best wine we had in stock.

I grabbed my favourite and two clean wine glasses before walking back upstairs. As I was walking back over to Kasey I could see another guy walking in her direction as well. He looked strangely familiar but I couldn't quite figure it out.

But one thing about him was certain.

He wasn't one of us.

Kasey's POV

"Hello there." I heard a voice say above me making me look up into an unfamiliar pair of eyes.

I had never seen this man before but he didn't look all that different from everyone else here. Sure he had a little less tattoos, well a lot less but he had the same dark and cold look I've seen in Harry's eyes when he's mad.

"U-uh hello." I stuttered as I tried my hardest to stay calm in front of this stranger.

"My name is Scott. What's yours?" He sat down on the opposite side of the booth as me while I sat there wide eyed.

I was beyond nervous and the whole reason Harry let me come here today was to met new people but I wasn't sure how I felt about this person.

"Her name is Bambi." Someone spat as they sat down next to me and I looked to see Harry back this time.

"And she's mine." He added while glaring at the Scott man.

His eyebrows shot up at Harry's words and his lips twitched like he was trying hard to hold back a smile.

"Your with the boss man?" He asked as he turned back to me, I nodded just as Harry wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him.

"Well I should have guessed that with how beautiful and fancy you look." He looked me up and down once more before he stood up ad left without another word.

I bit my lip as we sat in an awkward silence before Harry cleared his throat and poured us both a glass of wine. I see Eleanor drinking wine all the time but I've never tried it.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked and I simply nodded and held my hand open for the glass and he laughed while shaking his head.

"What do I get if I give you this?"

"Whatever you want Harry just gimme gimme!" I smiled as he handed the glass over and I took a good sip before swiftly pulling the glass away from my mouth. My nose scrunched up making Harry laugh.

Before either of us got a chance to say something, Liam and Louis came over and sat down like they were getting comfortable. I always felt uncomfortable when I was the only girl around more than just Harry so I took another large sip of my wine and shook my head as it burnt my throat.

"I'm going to help Eleanor with the bar." I whispered as I pushed my glass away and kissed Harry on the cheek.

I need the practice and will do anything to get away from the boring guy conversations.

"Be careful princess." Harry stated while giving my bum a little pat as I walked away.

I hugged Eleanor as a hello before grabbing two beers that I had heard someone just ask for.

Working the bar was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. A few guys freely stared at my boobs even though they knew who I was and all I have to say about that is that they had some serious guts.

After about an hour, Zayn walked over to the side of the bar where I was and smiled.

"How's it going Bambi?" My eyes widened when I heard him use that name, it sounded weird but natural at the same time.

"Good." I smiled which he actually returned before pulling something out of his pocket. It was sliver and had a small cap on the top which he unscrewed before placing his lips around it and tilting his head back, My eyebrows scrunched together as I watched him.

I swear I've seen something similar to that before but it just wouldn't come to me.

"What's that?" I asked Eleanor as I pointed to the thing in Zayn's hand.

"That's Zayn!" She giggled obviously having been drinking herself.

"No, the thing in his hand, what's it called?" I asked again and she looked before turning back to me.

"It's called a hip flask. Why?"

I bit my lip as I continued to try and think where I had seen it before.

"Um no reason, but by any chance does Harry have one?" I asked while tilting my head to the side in thought.

"He's your boyfriend not mine." She laughed and walked over to serve someone.

I let out a shaky breath as I watched Zayn take another sip from his hip flask. I know I have seen that thing before. I turned away from everyone and closed my eyes tightly to try and think where I have seen such a thing when it suddenly came to me.

An image in my head that was vivid and clear and almost scary like it was recent.

It was a lady, she looked roughly middle aged and kind of chubby, her head was tipping back as she took large sips from her pink coloured hip flask.

I gasped and my eyes snapped opened as I realised who the lady was, she was the same person who tried to take me out of the hospital after my car accident. But if this was true. how did I know her?

My parents were dead and I lived with Harry.

Suddenly I didn't feel like being around so many people so I quickly stumbled my way downstairs and tried my hardest to ignore the intense look of worry that I was receiving from many different pairs of eyes. Once I was finally alone I felt like I could breath again, the moment was stuck on repeat in my head and was starting to hurt the more and more I thought about it.

But one thing was for sure.

This was definately not a day dream, it was a memory.
