The Path I choose...

"Of all the victories in my life..."

Sammi's POV
Hello everyone. This is Sammi Lukewood, a narrator from my last talk, I Can't Be in Love... and I love the way you want to continues my trilogy. Anyways, here's the story of how Liam and me became desperate. How we wanted each other, how we missed each other so badly! I had sadness in this one part of my life...

This is it. My one chance in going to the place of my dreams. The golden envelope clasps in my tender hands, and I saw it's adress.

From Stanford in Califorina, I always hoped to become an adult this fall.

I remembered what I did to try to get a scholarship at Stanford.

My English teacher Mrs. Drasua asked me the impossible question.

"Are you interested in going to Stanford?" She asked, her long eyelashes blinked simply. Underneath it all, those turquoise blue eyes didn't lie.

"A prestigious school? You're joking right?" I asked with a doubtful look.

"You have potential Sammi Lukewood. You ace my classes more than any other class. Interersted?" Mrs. Drasua asked more persistant. I looked at her. College was supposed to be important. REALLY important.

"I guess I'll try. How will I apply?": I asked her.

"Write something. Something that can change their view, like fictional stories. You're amazing, at writing. Now, choose a topic, and soon, you can give it to me, and I'll mail it to them." Mrs. Drasua continued. I looked at her.

She's not joking! I hurriedly came home. I saw Mom in the living room, cleaning up, and I told her what happened.

"You should!" She exclaimed.

I ran up, and closed the door of my room. I saw my phone with the charger.

1 New Message

I looked at the text.

Hello, Sammi! I miss you so much, I'm at India. It's so tirefull here. I hope I can see you again.
From, Liam P.

I sighed. Me too Liam, me too. I found an empty notebook, and I knew what to write about. It's perfect!

Julia Winters hated a band at school. But one day, she hit her head on the band room door, and she was face to face of Harold King, the handsomest boy she fell in love-- at least, SOON she will. They never realized it, but they were a true, true pairing.

I remembered how my story reflected this. I had a chance at college, if I got this scholarship. Let's hope Julia and Harold really was worth it! Fingers crossed...

I opened the little tab. I pulled out the first piece of paper.

'Dear Sammi Lukewood,
Blah, Blah, Blah.... BINGO! We are likely to inform you, that Julia and Harold's life was touching, and we'd like to inform you that we, Stanford University, would like to have you here. Your plane ticket from New York to California is in this packet, and you must come, by: September 9th, and welcome, to Stanford.'

"Ah......" I screamed so loud. I was jumping up and down. I ran home, and looked for my parents. "A note." I blankly smiled, and looked at the little sticky note on the counter.

"'Sammi--
We(Mom and Dad) took Michelle and Pam to their Arts Camp. We'll be back at 8:00-ish.'"

I looked at my phone. Natalie Saka. I called her.

"Did you get in?" She yelled in the 1st ring.

"No." I joked.

"What? I read your story, about Liam and you, oh I'm killing that person--"

"I'm JOKING!" I laughed.

"Don't scare me like that AGAIN Samantha Lukewood!" Natalie threatened.

"Ha ha." I sarcastically said.

Ding-Dong! I heard the doorbell ring.

"I gotta go, someone's at my door."

"Alright, bye!" Natalie said, as I heard her leave the call. I opened the door. I smiled, but couldn't talk.

His brown hair was straight, his cute dimples shown. He was tall. Slim and skinny, he was the first boy I ever fell in love with.

"Liam." My voice finally came back. He smiled back, holding me close. I had tears in my eyes.

Notes
