Chapter 6
Lucy's P.O.V
I woke up with my eyes feeling heavy, I opened them slowly. The first thing I saw were those blue eyes staring at me. Niall.
"Thank God, you're awake" He said.
"What happened?" I asked a little bit confused.
"You fainted, love" Did he just call me 'love'? no.
"Don't call me like that" I simply said.
"I call you what I want" He replied. Ugh. The rude mood again.
"Whatever" I said. "I better be going to class---" I said standing up.
"No, The nurse said you nees to go home because you can feel dizzy again." Niall stopped me.
I sighed.
"Okay, I'll call my aunt" I said looking for my phone in my pocket. Then I remembered, I don't have phone here. Oh please!!!! WHY.IN.THE.NAME.OF.PANCAKES.THIS.HAPPENS.TO.ME?!
"Do you need a phone?" Niall asked.
"No.." I lied.
He took his phone out of his pocket and gave it to me.
"I know you need it"
I sighed again and took the phone away from his hands.
"Aunt Sophie?"
"Lucy? Why do you call? are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, It's just that I fainted and...Can you please come pick me up?"
"Oh darling! are you okay?"
"Yeah..."
"Okay, I'll be ther in 5"
I gave Niall his phone and waited. But for some reason, Niall didn't go, He just stayed there. Until my Aunt finally arrived, but before leaving the nurse stopped me.
"Umm, young boy, Can you help Lucy? She looks pale" OH WELL THANK YOU!!
"Sure" Was all he said.
I saw Aunt Sophie standing in front of her car with biggest smile on her face. I mumbled 'Thanks' To Niall before quiclky entering to the small car and closing the door.
I stayed silent all the way to Sophie's flat.
I stepped in the small house. I love it.
"Oh, hunny. I forgot to tell you, but I have to leave or they will kick me out of work!" She said getting out of the house and into the car.
Well I guess I'm on my own.
"On my own, pretending he's beside me" I sang out loud. I love that song.
"I'm hungry. But the kitchen is soooo far away. I shall go to sleep." I thought.
I started climbing, literally, upstairts cause I'm to lazy to walk.
When I stepped into my room, I fell asleep on the floor. Not even bothering getting up to my bed.
Niall's P.O.V
"On my own, pretending he's beside me." I heard Lucy sing from outside of her flat. I smiled to myself.
I must admit I was very worried when she started falling down to my arms. Not that I care about her, but... I don't know.
---3 HOURS LATER---
I haven't heard Lucy in a while. I mean, no sound of anything. TV, radio, not even her!. I mean I'm next to her house I must have heard something in 3 hours! maybe she fainted, or maybe she started cutting because I was too rude to her, or for that blonde girls that were saying mean comments about her... I should check on her... No Niall what are you talking about? You can't let her in. I haven't let anyone know me for a very long time, and she's not going to be the first one. But check on her doesn't mean that I'm going to let her know me, I need to go there to see if she's cutting or something. Okay, I'll go.
I got out of my flat and ran to Lucy's flat. I knocked the door. No answer.
KNOCK KNOCK
still no answer.
KNOCK KOCK.
"Lucy?! are you in there?" I asked/yelled.
Still nothing.
Okay if something happens to her it's going to be my fault. I need to get in there but how? Ther door is locked.
I scanned through the options until I saw a little balcony. I can climb.
I started climbing a tree next to the balcony. Wow, it's such a cliche. I reached the balcony and climbed in. I opened the balcony window, and stepped in what seemed Lucy's room. The I saw her. Laying on the floor with her eyes closed. Oh no. I ran over were she was, and started shaking her.
"LUCY! WAKE UP"
Lucy's P.O.V
I started swimming in the chocolate river, it tasted delicious. Suddenly a little leprechaun started yelling at me.
"LUCY! WAKE UP!"
Okay weird.
I suddenly opened my eyes and realized it was a dream. But then I thought it again, cause I saw Niall standing kneeling next to me. Is this a dream? Where's the little leprechaun? Is Niall of chocolate so I can eat him? I started asking myself. But then I realized that I was awake.
"Niall? What are you doing here?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"Are you hurt? What happened? Did you faint?"
"Calm down, I was just sleeping"
"On the floor?"
"It's more comfy" I lied, not wanting to talk about my lazyness.
He glanced at me for a second, then directing his gaze from my eyes to my sleeves.
"Pull up your sleeves." He demanded.
"What? Why?"
"Just do it"
"No. I don't want to" I said. I immediatly saw sadness on his face. Wait what? why he was sad? He almost looked hurt.
He pulled up my sleeves, but I hid my arms behind my back.
"Let me see your wrists." he said. What my wrists?
"Why?" I asked. He took my arm, he was much stronger than me so it was very easy to him.
He glanced and examine my wrists carefully. Then he sighed in relief.
"What are you doing here? How did you come in?" I asked.
"I thought you fainted or something"
"And why do you wanted to check on me?"
He sighed.
"I felt---" He sarted, but I cutted him off.
"sorry for me... I know" I said. This really hurts. Ouch. "You know what? Get out here! I don't want you to feel sorry for me! I don't want to see you again!" By this time I was already crying.
"Lucy..."
"No!!! I thought I could be your friend the day I saw you, I thought you needed help! but I was wrong?"
"Did you want to help me? to be my friend? why? You didn't know me."
"But I wanted to" I answered. "Now get out" He looked confused and hesitated at first, but finally, he left.
