Chapter 16
Lucy's P.O.V
I took Ed's hand because, since the wolf's incident I don't want to be alone. He smiled and held it tight.
"Where are we going?" I asked finally.
"Well, Personally I love this forest and I thought that we could have a special time here." He said. "And It's starting to snow a little and this is just.... beautiful." He continued.
"Sure it is." I commented.
We kept walking and walking. We finally sat on the floor. I started shaking cause I was really cold.
"Are you cold?" He asked.
"A little."
"Well, maybe this could help." He said and hugged me.
We stayed like that for minutes thyat seem like hours to me. Just there, letting our bodies warm each other. Enjoying each other's company.
"Thank you" I whispered.
"For what?" He asked confused.
"For this." I said.
"It's special, isn't it?"
"Yes" I said. "It's the best thing that anyone has ever done to me."
I slowly closed my eyes. I smile crossed my lips as I burried my face into Ed's chest.
CRASH.
"What was that?!" I said getting nervous.
"I don't know..,"
"You think it's a wolf?"
"I don't know..." He said standing up. "I should go check."
"NO! Don't leave me here alone." I said with pleading eyes.
"I can't risk you going with me. What if is a wild animal? I don't want anything hurt you." He said looking serious. I smiled at him. He's so sweet. But I still don't like the idea of staying alone in the forest.
"You can climb to that tree" He said pointing to a big tree next to me.
"No way... I'm afraid of heights and I'm very clumsy."
"So do you want to be here in land alone"
I thought about it a second. Yeah, it might be a better idea if I climb.
"Okay..."
"Okay, don't worry Lu. I'll be back before you could say Waffle." He laughed.
I laughed nervously. I saw him, slowly fading into the shadows.
I sighed and tried to climb the tree. And as I supposed I fell off. I climbed again, succesfully this time.
When I got to the first branch I reached, I decided not to climb more.
"Why are branches are so far in between them?" I thought to myself.
I tried to get comfortable. I hope Ed doesn't last too much.
Ed's P.O.V
I started walking nervously around. Constantly looking back. When I didn't find nothing, I decided there was nothing and the sound was probably the wind.
I started walking from where I supposed it was the way back to Lucy. Wait... I already saw that tree... I'm going in circles.
Okay, Focus Edward. Where did you come from?. As much as I tried to remember I couldn't. Oh no... I'm lost.... LUCY IS IN A TREE ALONE!!! I need to get back quickly. Okay it was this way... No, this way. I already saw that rock. Wait what? All rocks are exactly the same idiot.
Lucy's P.O.V
Where's Ed?! The bruises in my back of Mark's beat up are hurting like hell. I don't want to look down. It's getting dark. Okay, breathe Lucy. Breathe. Ed will be back soon. And if he doesn't, I will make sure he doesn't see the light again.
---1 HOUR LATER.---
My eyes are getting heavy. No!! don't fall asleep, or you're going to fall off. I'm so tired. And I'm scared... I'm even starting to imagine weird things. Don't be such a baby Lucy. Be brave *yawn.* Be brave as... *yawn* Merida... Wait! What am I saying?. Don't fall asleep. don't fall asleep. I want lucky charms... DON'T THINK ABOUT FOOD!!! But food it's soooo...tasty... I want to sleep-- YOU WILL FALL OFF. "STOP ARGUING WITH YOURSELF!!!" A little voice in my head said.
I tried to get in a position where I won't fall. Okay, I will just close my eyes for a minute...
Ed's P.O.V
I DID IT!!! I'm not sure of how but I did it!!! I got out of the forest. Okay, Now go for help.
I glanced at Lucy's house. I thought for a minut, noo I can't tell her aunt like "Hey! pleasure to meet you.. Oh! and By the way, I lost your niece in the forest." No.
Wait, Niall lives next door.
I ran to the door of his flat. I couldn't loose more time.
"NIALL!!! OPEN THER DOOR!!! PLEASE!!!! WAKE UP AND BRING YOUR FAT ASS DOWN HERE!!!" I yelled through the door. I started getting angry and nervous.
The door finally opened, there appeared a Mid-sleep Niall with a very angry look on his face.
"What are you doing here and what DO YOU FUCKING WANT?!" He yelled the last part.
"No time to explian, You need to help me--"
"Why sould I--"
"Shut up and listen, Lucy is in the forest alone. She's lost"
His eyes widen.
"YOU LET HER IN THERE ALONE?!" And I promise he was about to hit me.
"SHUT UP! No time to explain, we just need to get her out of there."
"Okay. Let's go then."
