Chapter 10
Lucy's P.O.V
I woke up to everything hurting. I opened my eyes slowly, This isn't my bed. I had bandages and bruises all over my arms and body. Then memories from last night flashed my mind. That guy. Niall. Niall helped me.
I sat on the edge of the bed and tried to stand up. Nope, it's not going to happen. It hurts.
But I can't stay here for the rest of the day.
I stand up succesfully this time, and went downstairs. I saw Niall sleeping on the couch, snoring.
I aproached him but the wooden floor cracked, causing Niall to wake up.
"Lucy!!! are you okay? come sit here, I'm sure your body is still aching." He said guiding me to the couch he recently slept in.
"What hurts?" He asked with worry on his eyes.
"Mostly everything..."
"Oh God"
"Thank you, Niall"
"It was my fault" He said, mostly to himself.
"No, it wasn't"
"If it wasn't for me, Mark wouldn't have gone for you" I soppose 'Mark' is that guy.
"Stop blaming yourself"
His eyes softened and he hugged me tight.
"Niall..It hurts"
"Oh, sorry!" He said. "I'll call my uncle so they say he says the school you're not going, so they can call your aunt."
"Please tell them I'm sick, don't tell them, I'm, you know" He sighed, but nodded.
After he called he was by my side again.
"Can I ask you something?" He suddenly said.
"Sure"
"Why do you live with your aunt?"
"Umm well I'm not from here--"
"I noticed" He cut me off.
"Why?"
"First of all, your accent is different" He laughed. "And second, nobody had the courage to go to the forest alone before"
"You were there" I stated.
"Yeah, but I mean... nobody except me."
"Anyway, My parents forced me to come here to live with my aunt for a year"
"You didn't want to?"
"Nope" I said popping the 'p'. "Anyway, It's my turn to ask."
"Okay...?"
"Why are you so 'rude' and so you know like 'bad boy'.?" Okay, that was probably the stupidiest thing I ever said..
He hesitated a second but the answered. "Umm, I'm like that to everyone... Anyway! Do you want to catch a movie?" He said to change the subject, I was about to ask again but I decided to let go.
"Sure, what would you like to see?"
"Umm...What about... a suspense movie?" He asked.
"Okay.."
