Chapter 1
Lucy's P.O.V
I was woken by my mum shaking my shoulder.
"LUCY! GET UP IN THIS SECOND!" She yelled.
"I'm awake, I'm awake!" I said. But being as clumsy as I am I fell off the bed.
"Clumsy Lucy, you're going to be late for school" She said.
"Okay, okay" I said getting up.
"And hurry up, your dad and I want to tell you something" She said.
what? what do they want to tell me? Oh no. This can't be good. Every single time they say that it doesn't end well.
I quickly got dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen.
"So...What did you want to tell me?" I said.
"Umm, we were thinking about sending you to another country." Mum said.
"Why?"
"Cause that might help you, and we know you love forests and nature and stuff like that, so we're sending you to---"My father started.
"WHAT?"
"Yeah we're going to send you"
"You mean that you already did everything and didn't even asked me?!" I asked/yelled.
"umm...kind of..." My father said.
"WHAT?! NO!!!" I yelled. "WHERE AM I GOING TO STAY?"
"you're going to stay with your aunt" Mum said. WHOA WHOA WHOA, hold on I have an aunt in another country? well that's new. "Yeah" He continued. "She has a little beautiful house near the forest, there in Ireland--"
"IRELAND?!" I yelled. "I'M GOING TO IRELAND?"
"Yes" Was all she said.
"You know what mother? I'm off to school. And to let you know...I'M NOT GOING TO IRELAND!" I yellend slaming the door behind me, before she could reply.
Unbelievable. I can't believe my own parents did this to me. I don't want to leave my friends, I love them so much.... Oh well. Think about the possitive Lucy, You've always wanted to go to Ireland and I love forests! Not the I've been there, I've just seen them in movies like 'The Lord Of The Rings' and stuff like that.
I walked over where the school bus was. I got in. I put my headphones on. 'Sunshine and City Lights' by Greyson Chance came in. I love that song. I sang on my head until we arrived.
"LUCY" Jade shouted.
"Little CUPCAKE!" I shouted back.
"How have you been Lucia?" She asked. She likes to call my name in spanish. How am I going to telll her?
"Great...Umm Jade, I need to tell you something."
"Sure, What?"
" I'm moving"
"What do you mean by moving?"
"I'm moving to another country"
"WHAT WHERE?"
"China"
"CHINA?!"
"Calm down Jade, I'm just kidding. I'm moving to Ireland."
"NO!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALONE!" She yelled and hugged me tight. I hugged back.
"I don't want either, but my parents said I have to"
"When are you leaving? For how long?" She said, she was close to tears.
"I don't know, The just told me"
"Oh Lucia, I'm going to miss you!"
"I'm going to miss you too! But don't worry, You'll have Isa!"
"Yeah but, It will not be the same. It has to be the 3 of us!"
----AT HOME---
I didn't bother telling my mum I was home. I'm still mad at them.
"Oh hunny, I didn't hear you come in" She said.
"Mhm" I mumbled.
"Look Lucy, I know you're mad at us. But I promise This is going to be wonderful!"
"It's easy for you to telll" I said. "When am I leaving?"
"This summer vacations, on 3 months or something like that"
"For how long?"
"A year"
That was it, I ran to my room and shut the door behind me. And I started to cry.
