Spencer's P.O.V

No one spoke for a while. I just brushed Aria's hair. Hanna's face was buried in a pillow, Emily was staring out the window. A messenger alert blared, and Aria stood, lifting her phone.
I saw her type a text; Got here safe, thanks for everything. Spencer v. upset about an incident today. Hanna and Em too. Hope you are okay, Toby. -Aria.

The reply came quickly; Is Spencer O.K? What happened? Wait a second, closer than you think. - Toby.

Aria looked up at me, aware I was reading.
"It's okay, Spence. Toby won't tell anyone."
"Toby broke my heart too, you know. God Aria, I thought he was DEAD. What does he mean, closer than I think."
"Forgive and forget, Spencer."
"That seems hard when all I could think about was the Jenna thing."

I huddled in a ball, and thought about the Jenna thing. I remembered that night. It was cold outside, and we were trying on clothes. Alison squealed with fright, and said that she'd seen Toby Cavanaugh perving at us in the window, when I knew exactly who she'd saw; Ian. She convinced Aria, Hanna, Emily and I to help her get him back for what he'd did. Toby was fond of setting off small fireworks at Halloween, and kept some in a box near his garage. "It won't hurt anyone." I remember Ali whisper. She lit one of them, and after seeing something happening in the Cavanaugh's garage, fleed the scene. I remember the fire truck, the police cars, the ambulance. I remember Ali talking to Toby after, and threatning him about something. His eyes, the deepness in them, the pain as he saw Jenna in the ambulance. What Alison told me he'd done to Jenna, when Jenna had forced him into it, Really.

"Spencer, are you O.K?" Hanna asked. Her mascara had been running down her face, and she was a mess. Before I could answer, there was a knock on the door. I exchanged glances with Aria, who went to answer.

"Oh My God, You're Here!" She squealed, throwing her arms round the neck of a somewhat mystery boy. Two boys were behind him, and I saw Ali smirk. "Okay, maybe I told a few people I was here."

"You guys...Ezra, Caleb and Toby have paid a visit."
"Aria, I needed to find you." Ezra whispered hugging her.
Aria was weak, and I knew it would be easy for her to fall into the arms of the handsome Mr Fitz, when she was still hopelessly in love with Niall. I looked at Toby, and he cocked his head. "I didn't come to kiss and make up, Hanna, but." Caleb's voice drowned my thoughts, as Hanna sobbed into Caleb's shoulder.

"Alison." I warned, dragging her into the bathroom.
"How did you know that we'd need them. It takes nine hours, you know." I hissed. Ali blushed. "I didn't want you to get hurt. Look, I'd been talking to harry, and...he told me about the guys' new girlfriends. I wanted them to see how amazing you were without them....I wanted you to appreciate what you had before you left rosewood. So I invited the guys along.."
"Maybe we'll hate that crummy little town even more, Ali."
"You can't tell. Spencer, I have dirt on you that Mellissa might like to know."
"You wouldn't."
"I won't, if you keep your big mouth shut."

I exited the bathroom, and looked up at toby.
"I just wanted to make sure you didn't get hurt. Ever. You're my friend, Spencer."
"You're mine, Toby. But I'm in love, with Liam."
"I know."

Yeah, in my entrepeuneur thing me and Niamh thought of a game called spot the paedo, or where's the paedo, which Is like where's wally with dogs and paedo's, but no, it was silly and innapropriate, and then we were going to call it murtaghville but our teacher said to stop being stupid, and ours was called doggy paradise. I mean, wtf?
I'm super pissed but it was such craic.
