The Monster

I could hear their crappy music blaring all the way from my upstairs bedroom, the familiar black Jeep pulling up in my driveway as my mom calls for me. I remind myself to grab my headphones on the way out the door, grabbing all my stuff and slipping on my Vans. I run down the stairs, hugging my mom tightly and flinging the front door open.

"Have fun sweetie!" my mom gushes, smiling widely as I nod my head, closing the door and walking to the car.

I open the back door of the Jeep, climbing in beside Meredith and slamming the door shut, sticking my bag comfortably beside my feet and clicking my seatbelt into the holder.

"Are you ready for an amazing weekend, girls?" Claire squeals from the drivers seat, reversing the car out of the driveway.

"I'm a tad nervous, but yeah, quite excited." I smile softly, getting on iTunes as they blare the music again and I stick my headphones in.

"Shit," Claire curses under her breath as the engine splutters and the car stops.

I look around silently, eyes widening slightly as I open the door. We sat parked on a small, one way road in the middle of the woods, sun setting quickly. I could hear birds squawking loudly as I stepped down from the car, shutting the door behind me and looking around quietly.

"Is that a house?" Meredith asks, nudging me as she points further down the small road towards a run down house. I turn my head in the direction of her pointing finger, jaw dropping slightly as I slowly nod my head.

"Holy shit!" Claire says loudly, slamming her door shut and walking beside me and Meredith.

"Claire, inside voice. We've never been here." I warn, covering her mouth with my hand and looking around.

"Hello?" Meredith calls out, stepping forward slightly from the group.

"Mere, get back here." I say in a hushed voice, seeing a dark silhouette standing in the window as it disappears and the door opens slowly.

Harry's POV

I walk out of my dark room, opening the curtains to the living room slightly to see a pitch black Jeep parked at the end of the road. I watch as a brunette steps out of the back, looking around quietly. Another girl steps out, standing up beside the brunette. I stand in the window, faint light drifting into my living room slightly. I begin to listen to their conversation, closing my eyes.

"Is that a house?" the ginger questions, nudging the brunette as she points towards my house.

"Holy shit!" a blonde girl says, stepping out of the car and making her way to the others.

"Claire, inside voice. We've never been here." the brunette warns, covering Claire's mouth with her hand as she looks around again.

'Hello?" the ginger calls out, stepping forward slightly.

"Mere, get back here." the brunette whispers, looking dead at me.

I open my eyes again, shutting the blinds quickly and opening the front door, vaulters flying off of the patio quickly. I stare at the girls, sticking my hands in my pockets and walking slowly up to them.

"Harry." I say lowly, sticking a hand out to them to shake as their eyes go wide, nearly popping out of their heads.

I chuckle lowly, sticking my hand deep into my pocket and narrowing my eyes on the brunette. I liked the way she was more calm, more alert than Claire and 'Mere'. She has a more peculiar look on being in the woods, where she isn't as excited to be here as the other two, who seem thrilled to be standing in front of me.

She backs away from me, hiding slightly behind Claire as I laugh softly.

"Please, come inside." I smirk, stepping aside.

Hi yasss, I have started another fanfiction! If you haven't yet checked out my first story 'The Flashbacks' I full heartedly suggest for you to do so!

So this was just like a chapter to start off the story, I am aware it isn't the longest piece of work. But it is to only introduce the main characters (Megan, Claire, Meredith and Harry.)

PS. You'll find out why Harry is hanging around in the dark ;)

Claire: Long, blonde hair and dark blue eyes with a curvy body.

Megan: Medium length blonde hair and hazel eyes, scrawny body.
