*Savannah's POV*

Danielle. Of course she is here. How the hell she got in, I don't know, or why she took an 11 hour flight to New york just for this.... She's standing towards the back just staring at Liam, luckily he hasn't seen her. He is saying something but I'm so focused on Danielle I don't pay attention. As soon as the shock is over and everyone stars talking etc. I go straight to Louis and Harry "who the hell invited Danielle?!" I ask and they looked shocked as well "Danielle's here?!" They both ask in shock and I nod "None of us invited her...She must have just heard about it..." Harry says and I see her making her way towards Liam. Nope. Not happening again. She is not stealing my boyfriend away from me again. I musthave had a look like I could kill her because Harry says "Woah Savannah,don't do it, don't worry about Liam okay? He's with you now and he isn't going to mess that up" He reminds me and I nod, he's right, Liam wouldn't do that would he? I mean I am his girlfriend....and I need to trust him...

I watch as she walks up to him and he seems less than thrilled to see her, good we are off to a good start. I can tell there is some small talk happening but Liam doesn't look amused. He's showing her his watch, the one I gave him, is it bad that I kinda like seeing how annoyed she gets knowing that I gave it to him? Wait, are they...? She hugged him. The nerve of that girl...Okay I need to stop, I'm sounding like a psycho, which I'm not, I just don't trust her and don't want her hurting him any more than she already has.

After she walks away I go over to Liam, "I see the she-beast has snuck in" I say so only he can hear and he just laughs. "I was wondering how she got in" he says and leads me to a corner where nobody is "So you and the boys did all this for me?" Liam asks with a smile and I nod "Yeah, we've been planning this for weeks" I say and he takes both of my hands "Thank you, this is really great" He says and looks around before kissing me softly. "Anything for you babe" I say and go in to kiss him back but he turns his head away so I can't as a person walks by.... Yup he is embarrassed to be with me "So do you-" he starts but I cut him off "I ummm I have to go check on something" I say and walk away from him and into the crowd, I don't want to confront him about it on his birthday and I realllyyy don't want to have our first fight a day into the relationship....

The rest of the party goes pretty smoothly, Danielle leaves and I avoid Liam for the rest of the night. I hang out a lot with El and Perrie, they help distract me but I can't stop looking over at Liam. A few times I catch him looking at me but the other times he's having a good time with the boys and some of his friends that I've never met. The party goes till about 1:00 in the morning and finally we all get to head home. I was quiet the whole ride, but when anyone asked I just blamed it on me being tired, which I was. Liam tried to hold my hand while we were on the way to the hotel, but I just pretended to play on my phone and scrolled through twitter the whole time. I wasn't in the mood for him to be all touchey-feeley with me right now.

"Are you okay love?" He whispers, his voice alone makes it hard to be mad at him "Just peachy" I respond and he knows I'm not. Before he can say anything else we arrive out of the hotel and I getout of the car as fast as humanly possible. I stay quiet the whole way up and go straight to our room. Liam comes and opens the door and I go in without saying a word and just grab a baggy t-shirt and some spandex to sleep in.

Liam isn't even fully in the room before I'm in the bathroom with the door locked. "Babe, are you going to tell me whats wrong?" he asks and I don't respond. I change clothes and quickly brush my teeth before leaving the bathroom and going straight for the bed "So you're just going to give me the silent treatment?" He asks and huffs as he takes his shirt off "Honestly Liam, I'm to tired for this and I don't want to argue with you on your birthday" I groan into the pillow. "My birthday ended an hour ago, now tell me why you're upset." He says sitting on the bed and I sigh.

I turn over to face him but don't look at him. I draw pictures in the sheets for a bit as I think of what to say "Do I embarrass you?" I ask softly. "What?" Liam asks as if I'm crazy "You heard me Liam. Are you embarrassed of me? I ask and he laughs and shakes his head "Of course not love, where would you ever get that idea?" He asks and now I look at him like he's crazy. "In the room or when its just us or when the guys are around you're all lovey-dovey and stuff, but as soon as we leave this hotel, it's like I don't exist, you wouldn't let me kiss you earlier for God's sake!" I groan "I don't get it, like did I do something wrong? Am I just not good enough to be seen in public with you? Or are you embarrassed that you're dating someone who isn't famous?" I ask and his expression softens "Babe, love, no that's not it at all" Liam says softly and pulls me closer to him.

"Look, I just, I'm trying to protect you, the fans and the paps can be brutal, I know you've seen some of it, but when they find out we are dating it's going to be hell, I just didn't want to throw you into that....I don't want them getting to you, so that's why I was like that, because nobody can be trusted except the guys, our close friends and family....If one person that we can't trust knows the whole world will" he says and looks into my eyes. Damn why must he do that? "I can handle it Li, I want to be able to kiss my boyfriend and I want the world to know you're mine" I say softly "They will Sav, but are you ready for all that being a 'one direction girlfriend' will bring?" Liam asks softly "If I wasn't I wouldn't I wouldn't be dating you" I say softly and look up at him "Well, if you're sure....when do you want to tell them?" he asks me "The sooner the better" I whisper and he nods and pulls his phone out

Literally within two minutes my phone was blowing up "wow babe, what did you post?" I ask and I look on twitter "awe shucks babe, so dang cute" I say with a huge smile "Just don't read your mentions just yet okay? Some will be good but others wont, Danielle had supporters, but soon they will all come around" he says and I smile and nod turning my phone on silent "Let's go to bed babe, I have to wake up early so I won't miss service" I mumble and he laughs "Babe, your church is in London?" He says with a laugh "I know silly, I'll listen online as I pack" I say and he sighs "Do you haveeeee to leave tomorrow?" Liam asks and I nod "What time is your flight?" I pause and think "3pm" I say and he smiles "Good, we are having a lunch date tomorrow" he says and it brings a smile to my face. "Sounds good, now go to sleep" I mumble and cuddle up with him as closely as possible because I know I probably won't see him for another four months. Sigh.
