*Liam's POV*
Savannah leaned in and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. I swear that is just how we communicated best. Everything we needed to tell the other we could through a kiss. But once the kiss was over, so was everything else, her walls went back up and I went back to patiently waiting for the girl I love to be ready for a relationship. I know I said I would wait for her, and I will but it's so hard being so close to her, and yet, so far at the same time.

After she pulled away I looked into her eyes to see if the feeling was still in her eyes. Nothing. We had already kissed twice today, and we both knew we felt something, she has told me she has feelings for me, but her walls are up and she won't let me in. That's why sometimes I just back off. I know we may be all flirty and stuff one day, but I don't push her because I don't want to rush things, so the next few days I lie low, I just can't stand the idea of hurting her again. But today... I could tell she wanted to keep that first kiss going as much as I did....and she just kissed me again, sure I asked her to but still...I had to know what she was thinking.

Most girls you can read their thoughts based on their facial expressions but not with Sav, unless she was angry. I can never figure out what she is thinking. I adjust myself and lay on my back hoping she would cuddle up with me, which thankfully she did. I have missed cuddling with Sav, her body against mine, our body heat keeping the other warm, her hands on my chest holding me close... It was just comforting having her here, it filled this void, that feeling of emptiness inside when she wasn't here...I never realized how much I truly needed her until now... She lays so her head is on my shoulder and her body is leaning against my side. she places her arm on my other shoulder and across my chest. I move my arm around her and put my other arm around her waist and hold her closely. Our legs tangle up together and she nuzzles her head into my shoulder kissing it softly. It sends a chill down my spine but I try not to react so much.

We lay there tangled up in a comfortable silence for a while, I know she is still awake because her thumb is drawing shapes on my shoulder. I finally can't take it anymore I have to know, "Sav?" I say softly "Hmmm?" she mumbles "...What are we?" I ask her softly and her thumb stops moving. It is quiet for a second as she thinks "Honestly Li....I don't know" she says softly and I let out a small sigh "What are you thinking?" I ask her and she is quite again for a moment before she shrugs "So much Liam...." she says softly. I nod and kiss her head "are you okay Sav?" I ask her as I star to grow worried that I pushed her further than she was ready for "Yeah...Just confused.." She says softly and sighs "About?" I ask softly "What do you do when you feel so strongly about something, someone, but everything you know is telling you not to feel that way. But it's just something about that person that captivates you, that just makes you feel so different than anyone else ever has, that can make something as small as a kiss mean so much...?" She asks softly and I tighten my grip on her knowing she is talking about me. "Well, Sav, that's up to you...I wouldn't blame you for listening to your head and not trusting me....But I really hope you listen to your heart... Because I have a feeling that this person would do anything in his power to show you how he feels, how much he cares for you....you just have to give me a chance..." I whisper and I feel goose bumps on her arms. I lift her chin so she is looking at me "Please, Sav, give me a chance. Let me in, let me break down your walls. Let me love you" I whisper as I look deep into her eyes. The room is silent for a minute before she finally whispers "Okay" a smile forms on her face and mine as well. I cup her cheek in my hand and bring her up to kiss me. I kiss her with so much passion but don't push it to far. I still am not going to push things. We pull apart and I keep my eyes locked on hers "We can go as slow as you want Sav, I know you don't want to rush this and neither do I, I will never do anything to intentionally hurt you Sav, you are safe with me" I whisper and this time she kisses me. I smile against her lips and pull her tightly against me "Liam" she whispers "Yeah Sav?" I ask and she pauses "Thank you" she whispers before laying her head back down on my shoulder, what was she thanking me for? She went back to drawing shapes on my shoulder obviously unable to sleep, so I decide to sing to her, knowing that always works.

I began to sing Fall by Justin Bieber, the song just fit. It told her everything she could ever need to know.

As I finished the song her thumb had stopped moving and her breathing had evened out, she was asleep. I kiss her head and close my eyes drifting to sleep as well.
