"C'mon Lolly! Let's gooo. I'm hungryyy!" I (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_212/set?id=80478205) said attempting to drag my best friend (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_213/set?id=80479584) toward the school parkinglot. "I'm coming Kat. I'm hungry too! I just need to drop off my stuff in the locker and get my back pack, then we can go get food and head to your house to get ready for the parrtyyyy!." She said, excited, turning onto the main hallway. She got to her locker and dropped off her binder and books and grabbed her bag from the hook. "Do you need anything from your locker?" She asked closing her locker. "Nope" I said popping the p. I grabbed her arm and headed to the Maine doors to leave school. "I had free period last so I got everything then so I wouldn't have to wait for food" I said getting my keys out of my bag to unlock my car.
"So Sky told me during free period that her and Core are heading to her house first to pick up Sky's duffle bag with the "sleep over" essentials for tonight." Lolly laughed digging in her bag to get her ipod out to play music. "I still can't believe Core doesn't know about the surprise party we're throwing her. She is like in the know of everything that goes on in school, and the whole school is practically buzzing." Lolly put on The BeeGees in the backround. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxv7MiZ4cwA).
"Isn't Core going to be suspicious that her and Sky are all dressed up just to go to my house for a sleepover. I mean I know Core is the one who dresses like all the time, even more than I do, but for sleepovers her casual is pretty laid back." I thought I was bringing up a good point. " That's why we told her we were going to celebrate her 19 by going clubbing..Girls night out.Is this ringing any bells Kat?" I was thinking really hard trying to remember when we had talked about this. I gave her a blank look. "Your house. A while back.. Spring break..while Core was in France visiting her family."Righhhtt! Right. I totally remembered thaat. I was just testing you Lolly.....to see if you remembered." I said quickly turning to give her a cheesy smile while at a red light. "Sure, Kat. What ever you say" She said laughing turning up the volume as Fireflies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psuRGfAaju4) by Owl City began to play. This brought back memories of middle school.
Luiseach's pov:
Kat had Weezer's Island in the Sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erG5rgNYSdk) playing throughout her house as we got it ready for Core's Surprise party.
To say Kat's family was rich was an understatement. They were filthy rich due to her Persian background. What surprised most people was how selfless she is. Because I've known her since we were like 3, I know a lot of her Humbleness comes from her Mother's family background. Her mom was raised in Mexico in a humble household. THey weren't poor but they hardly classified as middle class. Her grandparents worked very hard to put Kat's mom,aunts, and uncles through school. They all got an education and became professionals in their field of work. Kat's mom finished her studies off in Stanford, becoming a Foreinsic. Her dad on the other hand, is of wealthy Persian roots. He however, became a prestigious movie producer. Kat has an older brother, Anthony, who works as an intern at a talant agencie while studying at the Arts Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
I on the other hand have a younger brother. My parents are both Italoan but only my dad is actually form Italy. They met While my mother was studying abroad in Italy. They fell in love and got married. My mother, Being of wealthy background and my father of middle class. Her parents disapproved of my father. She listened to her parents and left my father, only to find out later on that she was pregnant. She went back to my dad because my maternal grandparents disowned her after finding out about her pregnancy. My father persued his Acting dream and became a successful actor. Everything was great. We moved to Hollywood hills when I was about 3. That's when I met Kat. We became instant friends. Since she couldn't prunounce my name she decided she'd have a personal nickname for me. I was to be then known as Lolly, because I was eating a lolly pop and to her it sounded the same as my name. She was the only one who could call me that. And the nickname stuck. All throughout elementary, middle, and high school.
We stuck together through everything.Good, Bad, Highs, Lows. She was there for me throughout my parents divorce, I was there for her when her brother was in a coma, and we were therre for each other when we got Mother Nature's gift. The same day...
