Aleah yelled at Jesy for a good five minutes in front of everyone in the Starbucks that she was a complete jerk and so heartless for saying those things about poor Louis. "Louis had done nothing to you." "He didn't even know you so that automatically meant he did nothing to you." "The fact that you could say those things in the first place was wrong was absolutely ridiculous, but it made it worse when you didn't chase after him to apologize." Those were just some of the things that Aleah was yelling at Jesy for. Jesy had tuned out after some time, but it wasn't because she was uninterested that she tuned out; Jesy actually felt really guilty that Louis had over heard her very mean comments. He was never meant to hear them and the fact that she bashed not only him, but his girlfriend, made her guilt even worse.
Jesy tuned back into her guilt trip by the time Aleah reached the point of calling Jesy the lowest form of person to ever walk this earth. Jesy sighed deeply at how Aleah started going over board with the making her feel bad, but she deserved all of it. Jesy had said much worse about Louis; she did go as far as to say that she would rather punch herself in the face with brass knuckles than to ever hear his name again. People get offended by that kind of thing. Well, Jesy wouldn't get offended considering that she said things like that all the time and if someone said that about her, she would probably deserve it, but then again, Jesy wasn't like most people.
"You think if I ran out of here now, I could catch up to him?" Jesy absentmindedly asked while sipping the last of her hot chocolate.
"Well it's been five minutes," Aleah bit back harshly, "But maybe you can. It's the least you can do."
"Hey, you are lucky that I feel guilty for what I said. Don't you dare think that I won't sit right back down and just hope Louis will forget about my comments. I don't have to apologize. This is my choice. Do not give me attitude for it."
Jesy walked out of the Starbucks, rather angry at the fact that Aleah had the nerve to give her attitude over this whole thing. Especially when she was going to attempt to apologize. Jesy never apologized. It wasn't her thing to apologize. So she didn't appreciate it when Aleah was giving her more reasons not to change her ways and just think that Louis can just suck it all up. Of course she was already about ten feet away from the Starbucks so she wasn't actually going to turn around and go back. Jesy might as well just go and hope to find the poor boy that she insulted.
Jesy ended up walking about two blocks and she started to think that she was never going to find Louis again, but just as she was slowing down to turn around, she saw the familiar blue and white striped shirt that belonged to Louis, standing at the bus stop.Jesy took a deep breath, lifting her nose to the air, and made her over to where he was. It was now or never and the worst thing that could happen when she approached him was the possibility of being pushed in the road and getting hit by a bus. Nothing too bad. She could probably survive a hit like that.
"Hi. . ." Jesy awkwardly introduced as she walked up to Louis, who now had his arms crossed and eyes very hard on her.
"Come to insult me more? Sorry, I'm not in the mood." Louis turned away from her and focused his attention on a very good looking tree across the street.
"Look, I know that I can be a very--uhm--"
"Judgmental."
Jesy glared at the side of Louis's face, "Judgmental person. I should not have said those things considering I know nothing about you. . .or your girlfriend for that matter. I am sorry. I was stupid and wrong, and I hope you can forgive me."
Louis turned back to Jesy, obvious anger flaring in his blue eyes. "You expect me to forgive you after what you said? You seriously had no right. You don't know me, you don't my life besides what you read in the tabloids. Maybe if you knew me personally, I wouldn't take this so offensively, but considering you don't, and considering you brought my girlfriend into all your hate, I will take it offensively. So, no. I won't forgive you."
Jesy took another deep breath, getting rather annoyed that he wasn't accepting your apology. Jesy was positive that people have said worse about him before and she really doubted he acted like this towards them. What made her so different from every other person that gave them hate? Surely she wasn't too far from them.
"I am swallowing my pride here, trying to apologize to you. The least you could do is accept my apology because I don't say sorry often. Maybe if you weren't such a sensitive little baby then maybe you would just forgive me!" Jesy shouted at him.
"Oh! I am a sensitive little baby?!" Louis shouted back.
"Yes, you are! There a thousands of people every day giving you hate and I am sure you don't get this defensive. Jesy knew that once he entered this industry that he would get hate. Why are you acting like this?"
"Maybe because you don't even know me! Maybe it's because Eleanor and I aren't even together anymore and I don't want to hear anything about how she was a beard for me! Maybe I am just having a rough week and having people like you making it worse isn't exactly my type of thing right now!"
Jesy was taken aback. Instantly regretting bringing up Eleanor in her earlier rant. Aleah didn't know about the break up, so that meant it was very recent and she had rubbed salt in the wounds. Jesy looked down at the ground because she really was a low and judgmental person at this point.
"Can we just start over?" Jesy suggested quietly.
"Start over?!" Louis somewhat shouted. Jesy nodded, still looking at the ground when a hand came into her view. "Hi, my name is Louis."
Jesy smiled and took Louis's hand, "Hi, my name is Jesy"
