Stuck In The Moment
The hospital
*Katerinas POV*
My eyes fluttered open to find a brown curly haired boy leaning over my bedside, crying. I stretched my hand out, and touched his curls, giggling.
"Kate? Are you-are you alright?", he said through tears. I nodded, smiling, than frowned.
"what happened?", I asked. He place his hand on my cheek. I didn't even realize I'd been crying til he wiped my tears away.
"Liam kissed you, I saw it, and I got mad, jealous, furious, and I-I grabbed him his collar and dragged him out of the building. I punched him in the lip, just to scare him. I could never actually hurt him more than that. Than Louis pulled me off of him, and we went back inside, but you were nowhere to be found. I panicked, we searched..everywhere to find you, but we couldn't. Than I saw you walking down the road. You were stumbling, you were drunk. We talked, than I braught you home. The next morning, you were in the bathroom, throwing up, cause of your hangover, and you passed out. I got scared and started crying, Niall had to call the police because I was soo scared!", he said, crying.
Before I could say anything, the doctor came in the room and asked to have a word with Harry.
*Harrys POV*
"So why did she pass out?", I asked.
"She has post traumatic stress. She was feeling very overwhelmed and passed out.", he exclaimed.
"Will she be ok? When can she leave?", I asked.
"Yes, she just has to take these everyday, in the morning. And today.", he said, handing me a bottle of pills.
"What are these?", I asked, examining the bottle.
"It will control her post traumatic stress.", he exclaimed.
"Ok, yeah, I'll make sure she takes it.", I said. He nodded, looking down at his clipboard, and walked away. I walked back into the room, and found Kate switching through tv channels. She looked at me, and smiled.
"Hey babe!", I said, smiling. I walked over and sat next to her on the bed.
"So when can I leave?", she asked.
"Today. Right now, if you want", I said, smiling.
"Leggo!", she said, giggling.
We got situated with her stuff, and left the hospital. I grabbed her hand and held it as we got into the car Paul drove to pick us up. She placed her head on my shoulder and soon fell asleep.
My phone began ringing, I fished it out of my pocket and answered it.
"Hello?", I said.
"Follow my instructions and the girl will stay safe, if not I'll kill you, your friends, and your little toy", a deep voice said on the other end. My breath hunched in my throat. Who is this? Why were they doing this? I looked down at the beauty in my lap. I looked back up, facing forward, finding my voice.
"What do I have to do?", I asked.
"Perfect", he snickered.
