Cast Away *ON HOLD*

"a plan we need a plan" I lay Olivia down on a blanket Harry laid out for her, she's out cold. She's been through a lot, so I can understand why she's tired.

"I need to look at Louise's arm" I search through the bag and pull out the first aid kit.

"me and harry will go back to the plane and look around, there's stuff scattered everywhere so we might find something useful laying around" they begin to walk away and I sit in front of Louise opening the first aid kit.

"I can go through the bags and lay out what we have so we can see" Niall limps over to the bags, sits down and begins taking stuff out.

"you can just leave the clothes in there and we can find something we all like later" Niall smiles and throws a few shirts back in.

"ow be careful" Louise flinches, I resituate her arm on my lap to get a better look at it, she's got a few cuts, nothing too deep but it's definitely broken.

"Okay go rinse it off in the water, the salt water will disinfect your cuts" she rolls her eyes and walks to the beach.

"why didn't I think of that, I could have cleaned it ages ago" I need to find some materials for makeshift cast. I wander along the beach and find a few piece of drift wood, I could search the plane and maybe find a flat piece of metal, that would work too. I run down to the plane and search around the opening.

"what are you doing" harry walks up to me.

"I thought you were fixing your friends arm" he snaps.

"um I am, I just need a flat piece of metal and two small rods, she broke her arm so I need to make a cast" he begins to look around and basically finds everything I need, I found a thin piece of metal which I can bend.

"this is perfect thanks" I run off back to Louise who is chatting with Niall.

"Niall is there some rope in there?" He looks around at what he has laid out so far.

"I haven't found any yet, but if I do I'll let you know" crap, I look around trying to think of something I can use.

"how about vines" Louise points to the Forrest and a few feet in some vines are dangling.

"perfect, Niall is there a knife?" He tosses me a pocket knife and I smile at him before disappearing a few feet into the forrest, I cut down a few vines and come back out.

"where we're you" harry glares at me, throwing down a bag.

"I just went to get some vines, for her cast" I point at the materials spread out, and suddenly I wanna know why he keeps being an ass.

"what's your problem anyways" he scoff and rolls his eyes.

"don't go in there alone again, were going to gather some fire wood, and some stuff to make a shelter" I roll my eyes and begin making her cast.

"yes boss" I mumble and Louise giggles.

"no need for shelter, there's two survival kits, which includes two tents, they both sleep four people" Niall says loud and proud. I finish tying the vines around Louise's arm, she cries as I pull them tight to hold the bone into place so in can heal.

"sorry sorry sorry" I repeat as a tug and knot the vine. I grab what looks like a giant clothe from the first aid kit and make a sling to tie her arm up.

"Found the rope" Niall holds bright yellow rope in front of his face, Louise holds up her cast.

" A little late" I laugh and he mumbles something before going back to sorting.

"wait" she says putting her hand up, I wait for her to continue.

"your bleeding through that scarf let me bandage your head before you sling me" I chuckle a bit and walk to the waters edge. I untie the scarf and soak it in the water, the red coloured water being washed away with each wave. I bring the wet scarf to my head and wipe clean the cut, it's not as big as I thought from what I feel, it's stings like crazy though.

"lay down" she pats her lap and I lay on my back with my head on her legs and she goes to work bandaging my head. Once I'm all cleaned up I put her arm in a sling and the boys come back. We all sit around the stuff Niall has set out to see what we've got.

"wow" Liam says. It's a lot more than I thought we had, there's around 10-15 blankets most of them burnt, or missing pieces, but there a few good ones, there about 30 granola bars, and a few packs of peanuts, a few bags of chips, and other smaller snacks, there's around 10 water bottles and a few empty containers, in the survival kit is: a tent, a hatchet, a lighter, storm proof matches, a pocket knife, a hunting knife, emergency blanket, a whistle, solar powered flashlight, duct tape, rope, a pen, a marker and a compass. All of that x2. The guys also found some random things on the beach, a couple bottles of vodka unbroken, a notepad,and children's stickers.

"you three pack the stuff up, separate it as equally as you can manage in case something happens to one bag, we will set up the tents" he picks up a tent and tosses it to Liam. Everyone doesn't what their suppose to, I decide I'm going to dig a fire pit in the sand, one less thing to worry about. I walk a little bit away from where they are setting up the tents and I start to dig, I'm not sure how big to make it but I'll just guess. Suddenly I hear Olivia crying loudly and I run over to see Louise trying to pick her up, Olivia sees me and runs into my arms.

I sooth her until she settles, by talking to her and rubbing her back.

"is your name Olivia?" She looks up at me with tear filled eyes and a nods her head.

"does your teddy have a name" she just stares at me and doesn't say anything, I sigh and bring her over to where I was digging the hole.

"do you want to help me dig?" I point to the hole and scoop some dirt out tossing it to the side. She smiles and begins scooping small handfuls out. Louise comes over when she is done packing and sits down next to us. Olivia stops giggling and stares at me then to Louise.

"hi Olivia, can I help dig the hole" Olivia smiles shy and nods her head. We dig until the whole is big enough then pile the wood the boys collected next to it.

Everyone gathers near the fire pit, admiring all the work we've gotten done. It looks to be late afternoon, but I could be completely wrong. Olivia sits next to me playing in the sand.

"maybe we should look around a bit, we might be able to find some berries or something" Niall suggests. Everyone turns to Harry, I guess he's in charge, I don't know how that happened but whatever.

"Niall and Louise can stay here with her" he points to Olivia.

"her has a name and it's Olivia" I glare at him and he continues talking as if he didn't hear me.

"us three will look around, we won't go far because it will be dark soon, it's almost 6 now" he looks at the watch around his wrist. I lean down to where Olivia is playing.

"hey Olivia, I'll be right back ok, your gonna stay here with Louise and Niall" her bottom lip begins to quiver and it breaks my heart.

"hey wanna build a sand castle" Niall asks her and her eyes light up. I send Niall a thank you smile, grab and empty backpack and catch up with Harry and Liam who are walking into the forrest.

"you should put these on" harry throws me a pair of men's track pants and points to my legs.

"poison ivy" I nod my head and quickly slide them over my shorts, they fit loose, but they have a string so I tighten it as much as I can.

When we enter the forrest I look up in awe, the trees are really high up in the air, different shades of green all mixing together. It's also much cooler in here thanks to the shadows cast by the trees, you can hear birds chirping and the sound of running water.

"hey if we could find that river, we could use it to fill the water when we run out, and to bathe" Liam looks at me confused before stepping over a big log. We change direction and head to the sound of the water.

"why can't we drink the water from the ocean?" Before I can answer Harry begins.

"because it's salt water, it will dehydrate you and make you sick" Liam nods while he thinks about it.

"how do you know that" I say to Harry.

"not everyone here is stupid Paisley" I roll my eyes.

"I didn't say that, I was just wondering you seem to know a lot about the wilderness" he just continues walking ignoring me completely.

"guys look" Liam says pointing up in a tree, high up hangs large oval fruit, I can't quite tell from here but they look like mangos. We walk over to the tree trunk.

"how are we gonna get up" Liam tries to jump for the branch but he isn't tall enough.

"you could boost me" I drop the bag and stand under the branch just off to the side.

"wait bring the bag with you and fill it up, they could smash off branches when you drop them down" Harry hands me the bag and I put it on, before I know it they both grab a leg and lift me up, I grab ahold of the branch and pull my self up with ease. I climb until I reach the fruit, there has to be at least 10 mangos here, one by one they make their way into my bag. Before climbing down I look at the near trees to see if I can spot some more fruit.

"hey I see some more fruit in that tree over there" I yell down and they both look in the direction.

We continue In the direction of the river, climbing trees along the way, we have a good amount of fruit, mostly mangos and bananas. We find the river, and it looks so inviting, nice and clear, you can see the sand and rocks on the bottom. I grab the wattle bottles from Liam's bag that we drank and fill them up, then I fill up one of the containers we brought so we can fill the rest of the bottles back at camp.

"this should run into the ocean so if we follow it back we should end up on the beach" we begin our walk back, stopping a few more times when finding more fruit. Harry said we shouldn't pick to much cause if we don't finish it all then it will just go bad. We come out on the beach and look around Liam spots the smoke rising from the plane and we walk back to camp, it's only a few minutes walk to the river which is good for the water, and it's covered enough for bathing if you walk in a few feet. The salt water would clean you good, but it would leave your hair gross.

Olivia is first to see us and comings running up to greet us...well me. I don't think harry really likes her and she's afraid of Liam. We show Louise and Niall how we did and every grabs some fruits and starts eating, I cut a mango in half, dice up a half and use the uncut half as a bowl for Olivia. She's seems to like it which is good.

While Harry gets the fire going, me and Louise use some of the blankets and some clothes to make somewhat comfortable beds. We return to the fire. We spend the next hour or so talking around the fire, mostly consists of Niall telling stupid jokes and everyone laughs at him instead of with him. Everyone begins to get sleepy and we decide it's time for bed.

"so girls in one tent boys in other" Louise says.

"no you girls shouldn't sleep alone in case something happens" everyone just shrugs probably in their mind deciding who we all want to sleep with.

"Louise, me, and Niall in one" Liam suggest, putting his arm around her shoulder. I look at her and I don't think her face could be more red, she smiles shyly at Liam who winks down at her.

"sure whatever" Niall's says before crawling into one tent leaving the other two follow.

So that leaves me, Olivia, and Harry...this should be fun
