Cast Away *ON HOLD*

"I am beyond excited" I squeal as I settle into my seat.

"me too I can't wait to see my parents" Louise pulls out her headphones and puts them on the tray in front of her.

Louise is my best friend, we met at orientation a few days before school and clicked instantly, she's smart, funny and she's beautiful. I'm glad she's my best friend because when it comes to guys she would be serious competition. We are flying back to her home town San Salvador in El Salvador, we just finished our first year in med school and I was in desperate need of 3 things: sun, beach, and boys.

She is missing her parents, since moving away and I wanted the beach so it was the perfect place to spend the summer.

"we are preparing to take off, please fasten your seat belts and turn off all electronics" the stewardess's voice blasts through the loud speaker. Everyone on the plane begins following instructions. The Plane is really packed, it's my first time flying and I'm a little nervous. I work on keeping the conversation flowing with Louise so I don't think about it.

"they should really put some colour in here" I gesture towards the seats which are a dull grey, with light blue specks, everything else is pretty much white, or different shades of grey.

"I know right, fun colours like pinks, and yellows" we chat and try to look for hot guys while the plane takes off.

We have been in the air for about two hours and I have avoided having to leave my seat for any reason, but now I really have to pee. Louise is leaning forward, head resting on her arms with her headphones in, she fell asleep a while ago and I hit pause on the music so it doesn't waste her battery. I get up from my chair, and quickly walk to the bathroom, no one is in there thank god. I quickly do my business, and begin washing my hands. I hear the voice over the speaker again, sounding loud and panicked.

"this is your captain speaking, prepare for crash landing... I repeat prepare for crash landing" I quickly throw the door open and everyone is screaming, people are crying, and fastening their seat belts, my heart begins to race and my palms are sweaty, I knew this was a bad idea. I frantically run through the isles to get back to my seat.

Theres a a loud sound and suddenly I'm thrown forward smashing my head against the wall, there's a sharp pain in my head, and I feel the blood trickling down my face, as I fall to the ground.

I have never been more scared in my life...
