Harmony's POV:

The drunken customers have left, stumbling out of the exit like every night. Even the repulsive beauty and his friends left quite early. I hope I don’t get to see him any time soon, but at the same time I wish that I would. I’m confusing myself because he is attractive, but on the other side of the balance; he’s rude and scary.
To come and think of it, when did I ever put physical appearance as a good quality? Never. Then why am I doing this for his case? Maybe because I’m confused, and still a little star struck from today’s occurrences? It has to be, or else I would be in a different side of theory; that I don’t want to even think about.
“Could you turn that up, please?” Serena laughs, twisting the volume knob on the mini radio. I’m unpacking the liquor bottles for tomorrow, basically this is what I do every night before closing.“I’ll leave you with your romantic song, alright? I’m heading out.” I smile at her, as she walks to the exit. I begin humming the tune of the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLpsDamWdIM). Later, I start bobbing my head in a light matter, enjoying the beautiful voice and lyrics of the song.
“Nice voice.” I shriek from the surprise, turning around to look at the person. “(I twist the volume knob lower to a mute) What do you want? We’re closed.” I speak in complete rudeness, while his eyes glitter their green shine at me. It takes me a second to admire his fashion sense. I never focused on his clothes earlier, but now that I do; I praise his simplicity.
A long-sleeve black shirt, a little see-through if I may say. It’s a little bigger than his size on the abdominal area, but it holds his clear biceps tightly. His black skinny jeans seem to be tighter than mine, but they highlight his lengthy legs in a perfect matter. Shoes? Boots, light brown if I may say, they don’t match the whole outfit; but he seems to pull it off.
“Ehm.” He clears his throat, making me snap out of my mind. “I told you, we’re closed.” He walks closer to the bar counter, sliding on one stool. “I lost my wallet, so I came back to retrieve it. Do you mind checking for it, Harmony?” I blink my eyes rapidly, once his deep voice spells out my name.
“There are no lost items for tonight. You better check somewhere else.” I turn my back, proceeding with placing the bottles on the shelves. “I’m Harry, if you care.” Harry? It matches his physical appearance: soft, delicate yet manly, baby face… But I can’t imagine a cruel person named Harry. “(He mumbles) I guess I’ll go.”
I don’t turn my back, nor do I reply to the defeated man. I don’t mingle with bar customers, period. I want to have a woken up conversation with a person, not a drunken flirt that looks like a rebel on fire. Maybe, just maybe, if I met him in a coffee shop or at any other public place; I would be able to open a conversation with him.
You can’t wish for something that he could never be. Educated? I doubt. Well mannered? Not so likely. Humane? Hardly. Then why would I be interested in him? But here I am babbling about him nonstop. Its just the affect of the night, it will wash off by tomorrow.
Thank goodness that tomorrow is my day off. Sunday is the only day I get as a holiday freedom from this doomed pit. No more liquor, smoke, loudness, and certainly no Harry. I’ll be enjoying my time, away from this polluted area. I will be breathing oxygen, instead of nicotine air. I would be in mind peace, instead of the wreck I am today.
