Who Are You? (49th Chapter)

Harmony's POV:

“(She whispers in wet tears) I can’t believe it… its really you.” The fear inside of me keeps boiling, thinking of the fact that this female would turn out to be non other than Harry’s heartbreaker. If that was the case, then why would she come back? Why would she hug him like nothing happened between them? If this woman thinks she could barge in and snatch my Harry away; she’s wrong. Did I just refer to him as ‘my Harry’? God, I am obsessive.
But why wouldn’t I, when he is everything that I wanted in my other half? “(His voice is drier than sandy winds) You can’t be here.” He pushes her off of his body, stepping backwards like his worst nightmare began to haunt him again. “(She wipes her palm to erase the tear threads) But, I’m here. And I won’t leave you like last time.” She walks towards him, while Harry steps backwards.
He is trying to repel her, trying to stay away from her as much as possible. “Harold, stop pushing me away.” He laughs without a funny imply: “Push you away? Have you forgotten that YOU where the one that took off? God, you didn’t bother telling me! (He raises his voice, pointing his index finger to the door) GET OUT OF MY LIFE. YOU DECIDED TO DISAPPEAR, YOU DECIDED TO LEAVE ME ALONE...SO BARE THE CONSEQUENCES…”
Her eyes whimper at his harsh voice, making me feel sympathetic towards her. She keeps stepping forward towards him, which makes him jog past her; closing the front door behind him. I am too shocked to understand what is going on, but at least she’s still here; how could she come back? The members of the house show up from the kitchen, after hearing the commotion happening here.“What’s going on?” Eleanor asks, leaning her head on Louis’s shoulder.
“(I throw my hands in the air, releasing the tension in my reply) Ask Miss anonymous over here!” They all give the female a look, not really knowing who she might be; just like my feeling. But wait, doesn’t Louis know how Laura looks like? Doesn’t anyone of the guys remember how she looked like? How come they all are staring at her like a foreign stranger?
“(I try to be as calm as I can) Okay, let’s start with the basics. (I look at her, asking) What’s your name and how do you know Harry?” I cross my arms over my chest, playing the role of the resolving detective.“Are you his wife?” She asks, making my eyes widen. I can’t avoid blushing at that reference, but I keep my face sharp.
“No, I’m Harmony. Harry’s girlfriend. Could you please tell me who you are? I think you owe an answer to all of us for showing up with no further notice.” She sighs, dropping her handbag on the marble ground. “I’m his sister. I don’t think Harry told anyone that he has a sibling.” The guys, including Eleanor, gasp; surprised by this factor. I was the only one that didn’t react like the others, since I felt such a relief that she isn’t who I suspected.
“He told me. (She widens her eyes, while I walk closer to her) Gemma, right?” I stretch a hand to shake hers, while she looks at it strangely.“(She whispers, lifting her hand slowly to shake mine) He told you?” I nod, making her astonishment increase on her features. “I think we all should rest in the living room. (I look at Niall) Niall, could you please grab Gemma’s bag and place it in an empty room?”
“(She shakes her head) Harold won’t let me stay…” I sigh, giving her the best smile I could offer at this tension. “Nonsense. Niall?” He nods, grabbing Gemma’s bag while we all walk to the living room. She has a lot to explain, but not to me; to Harry. Harry… where could he have gone? Will he be safe with his current state of mind? I hope he gets back home soon.
