...The Next Day...

Harmony's POV:

I stayed up all night, brushing Harry's brown waves; until he closed his eyes. I wanted him to tell me what happened, but at the same time; I didn't want to bother him. If my assumptions are right, someone from that illegal job of his; is responsible for bruising his soft skin. Harry shouldn't be beaten by cold punches; he should be beaten with flower petals instead.
Zayn offered me a ride back home, and since I have reached; the only thing on my mind was Harry. I sound sick, almost obsessed with him; it worries me that he might not think of me as much as I do. What if my love discovery doesn't match Harry's feelings? He doesn't love, since his first experience with Laura. Could he have changed his decision? Would I be the one that could make the unlovable, try one more time with me?
These are the questions that haunted me throughout my attempt of sleeping. But then again, estimating is never close to what the truth holds. I need to find a way to make Harry answer all of my questions. I want him to open up to me, emotionally more than our physical encounters. I would be lying if I said that I don't miss the taste of his lips on mine; but that's not the only thing I would want us to share.
Fog jumps over my lap, twirling in circles until he rests on them. I begin brushing his fur, drifting my mind to a reality check. Today I would be going with Louis to the library, practically to accept the job offer. This is the only excitement that I could think of. The thought of me receiving my paycheck at the end of the month, makes me relieved for not experiencing the homeless status.
...In the Afternoon...
"Well, it looks like we have a deal. (He shakes my hand professionally) I will be seeing you tomorrow, Miss Lockwood." I give the Librarian a smile of appreciation, before getting a ringing alert from my phone. "Excuse me, I need to answer this." The librarian nods in understanding, and with that I leave him with Louis to accept Harry's call:
...Phone Conversation...
Harry: "What too you so long to answer?"
Me: "(I blush a little, hearing his voice for the first time today) I was discussing my job offer with the head of the Library. How are you feeling today?"
Harry: " I would be better if your you're here with me, right now. (My cheeks burn deeper, feeling my heartbeat increase) Let Louis drive you over here, once you're done."
Me: "(I take the risk of asking) Why?"
Harry: "Because I miss you?"
Me: (I suck my breath, repeating) Why?"
Harry: (He chuckles, exposing the nervousness in his tone) Are you going to play the 'why' game with me, Harmie?"
Me: "(I tease) I need an answer, only then I'll come by."
Harry: "(He huffs his breath) How about I tell you when you arrive? Sounds good of a deal, babe?"
Me: "(I sigh happily) I'll take you on that. See you soon."
