VAMPIRE PRINCE

Lost in the woods with nowhere to go, she never thought she would stumble upon him. His pale, flawless skin, his ocean-blue eyes that turn red while his perfect teeth grow into fangs. Serenity Miller, an average 17-yr old girl who fell for the vampire prince.

LOUIS’ POV
I ran through the woods searching for my dinner. It wasn’t a first for me. I’ve been doing this since the age of 14. I was an average child until I hit puberty. That’s when I began to notice the changes in me. I had begun to get paler, I rarely slept at night, and I had a hunger which normal food no longer could fill. I no longer needed my glasses to see and I could punch through a metal wall like nothing. I thought I was going crazy until IT happened. I was brushing my teeth one night when I realized instead of my usual straight smile, I had long, pointed fangs. I freaked out that night and told my parents. That night the truth was revealed. My parents told me that I was a vampire and not a normal one. I was a vampire with royal blood because my parents were the king and queen of vampires. That happened 49 years ago. Now here I am looking like a 19 year old. The rustling of leaves snapped me out of my thoughts and I leapt to capture my prey. It was a baby deer and though it was small it had to do.

SERENITY’S POV
I was out here again. The woods were so beautiful especially at night. I sat on my back porch staring into the woods feeling comforted by its silence. My name is Serenity Grace Miler and I was 17 years old. I lived in Mellow brook, Transylvania but I’m originally from London. I live here with my dad because my mum died when I was 14 years old. I was also in the car at the time and she died trying to protect me. My dad was devastated about losing her and blamed me for her death. Ever since then, he has come home drunk every night. He uses me as his punching bag, whenever he feels like it and repeatedly punishes me for stupid reasons. SLAM!! Oh NO, my dad was home. “SERENITY GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE NOW!!!!” my dad shouted. I opened the back door and ran into the living room to find him standing there waiting for me. “Yes sir?” I asked. “Why were you outside? What did I tell you about being out there?” he asked. The next thing I knew, my pitch black hair was pulled until my head collided with the wall. HARD!
The beating lasted half an hour until he decided it was enough. I ran up to my small room and examined myself in the mirror. My jade green eyes were red and puffy, my pale skin was bruised and there were traces of blood in my pitch black hair. I couldn’t take it anymore so I decided to run. FAR, FAR AWAY. I packed a small bag with some underwear, my toothbrush, toiletries and enough clothes for 1 week. I knew no one would look for me, I had no friends and my dad didn’t even care. I threw my bag on the roof and climbed out of my window and jumped. I landed with a THUD! I began to run really fast, away from hell- I mean home.
LOUIS’ POV
I felt a little better after feeding, and that’s when I felt it. A surge of electricity ran through my body and I smelt the most delicious smelling blood. I don’t know what happened to me but I couldn’t control myself. My brain told me to leave but my heart was gravitating me towards that smell. I ran as quickly as I could, and then I saw her. She had beautiful black hair but it was stuck to her hair with what smelt like blood. Her eyes which were a beautiful jade green were red and puffy but she still looked perfect to me. She was running quickly and crying profusely, and then all of a sudden she collapsed. Oh crap, I thought and I rushed to hold her lifeless body before she hit the ground. When I caught her she still had a pulse and I don’t know why but I had this urge to kiss her and my heart was telling me to carry her to my castle. I did what my heart told me to do and took her to my home.
SERENITY’S POV
I kept running and then out of nowhere I felt a sudden jolt of electricity go through me. I could sense that someone was watching me and for some reason something was telling me to go find them. Then I saw it, a pair of red eyes behind a tree in the distance. Then everything got blurry and the next thing I knew I was about to collapse but before I could I felt a gush of wind and the feeling of arms around me. In this person’s arms I felt safe and loved. I felt like I was flying through the sky because it was really windy but it was short-lived. I guess we had arrived at our destination but I couldn’t tell where we were because I couldn’t open my eyes. I was gently laid on what I thought was a bed and I had fallen asleep instantly.
