Silent Confessions

“Photography is all about secrets. The secrets we all have but will never tell.” - Kim Edwards

Nobody’s POV

Harry couldn't help but smile at the shocked expression written across Lucy’s face. He wished he had his camera around his neck, so that he could capture the emotion in her eyes right then and there.

Lucy blinked several times and opened her mouth to see if she had heard him correctly. “Did you just say that you want to photograph me?” She asked in disbelief. “I'm not a model Harry.”

“Says who?” He rose his eyebrows while wrapping his arms around her waist. “You'd be the perfect model. Besides, I've been dying to get you in front of my camera lenses since the day I met you. Are you really going to turn me down?” Harry pouted, jutting out his bottom lip.

Lucy felt her heart race at the sight before her. Harry’s puppy dog expression was one of her many weaknesses when it came to him, and she knew it wouldn't be long before she caved in.
“B-but I'm not even dressed appropriately for a photoshoot!” She exclaimed, pointing down to her outfit.

A medium-sized black t-shirt adorned her torso and met the waistband of her dark blue jeans. The jeans were rolled up at the ankle, revealing the gold anklet she wore around her right foot. On her feet she had on a pair of white Adidas shoes.

Harry laughed off her comment and shook his head. “Baby, what you're wearing is just fine. Hell, you'd look beautiful in anything you wore.”

Lucy felt the heat rush to her cheeks and looked away with a smile. She glanced at the set-up one more time before locking her gaze back on Harry’s green eyes. As she looked into them for what must have been the thousandth time, Lucy realized there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for this man.

“I mean–I suppose a few photos wouldn't hurt…” Lucy muttered as she set her bag down on the couch.

Harry’s face lit up like a child finding presents under the tree on a Christmas morning. Giving her hips a gentle squeeze, he kissed Lucy's forehead and lead her over to where everything was set up.

Harry pointed to the camera set up on the tripod, telling her that's where he will be, and instructed her to stand in front of the white colored wax paper. Lucy nodded her head and walked over to wax paper and centered herself.

“Okay, now just try and get comfortable. There's absolutely nothing to worry about,” Harry’s husky voice assured her as he maneuvered himself behind the camera.

Taking in a deep breath, Lucy raised one of her hands to touch her arm and focused her attention on the camera. Harry snapped a few pictures of her before pulling away with a grin.
“See that wasn't so bad, right?” He cooed as he walked towards her.

A shy smile made an appearance on her face when she looked up and saw Harry standing right in front of her. “Yeah. C-can I see the shots?” She hesitantly asked.

Harry typically didn't let the people he photographed see the takes, but Lucy was special to him, and he'd make an exception just for her. Flicking his head to the side, he urged her to follow him as he made his way back to the tripod.

The curly haired boy removed the camera from on top of the tripod and pressed a button that took him straight to his photos. Lucy stood directly behind him as he clicked through each of the shots. The small smile that once graced her lips slowly morphed into a frown, and she stepped away with her eyes trained on the floor.

(A/N: Pretend this is the picture Harry took):

Harry noticed the lack of her presence and set his camera back on the tripod before turning around to face her.

“What's wrong?” He questioned in a soft voice.

“Nothing, it's just–” She paused, searching for the right words. “I don't like the way I look. I look like I'm the un-happiest woman on Earth in that photo.”

Harry sighed and raised his hand to cradle her cheek. He hated that she felt that way and wanted to see her smile instead of frown. “That couldn't be farther from the truth, love,” He replied. “When I look at this photo, I see a beautiful, strong woman who's been through a lot. I love everything about your pose and the way you look.”

Lucy couldn't hold back the scoff that tumbled from her lips. “You have to say all of that because you're my boyfriend,” She complained.

“Baby, who are you going to believe? A mirror, a photograph, or the man who thinks you're the most beautiful girl in the world?” Harry asked her.

When he said that, something in Lucy's mind clicked. Her synapses made the connection and right then and there she knew that she loved him. She was hopelessly and madly in love with him, and there was nothing she could do about it.

“You, Harry...” Lucy finally said after a moment. “I believe you.”

“Good. I wouldn't want it any other way,” He said with a smirk before pressing his lips to hers.

Lucy wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him back hard. She wanted him to be closer to her both physically and emotionally. Harry swiped his tongue along her bottom lip before entering her mouth and swirling it around with hers. Lucy moaned into the kiss and tugged on the baby hairs clinging to the back of his neck. Needlessly to say, it drove little Harry crazy whenever she pulled his hair.

Harry removed his hand from her cheek and trailed it down her backside. He wanted to touch her so badly but refrained from doing so until Lucy pulled his hair again. She hummed in approval when she felt his hand slap against her bum and started to kiss him slowly, savoring each moment their lips met one another's.

After a few more soft pecks on the lips, they both pulled away breathlessly. Harry noticed Lucy's lips were flushed to a rogue red and felt a sense of pride knowing he was the cause for that. And as he gazed into her chocolate brown eyes for what must have been the thousandth time, he too realized that he was hopelessly in love.

With her eyes filled with admiration, Lucy buried her head into the crook of his neck and wrapped her arms around his torso. “I don't know what I'd ever do without you Harry Styles,” She whispered in his chest.

Harry's mouth grew wide in a dimpled grin. It was amazing how much he seemed to smile around her whenever they were together. Placing a kiss on top of her head, he tightened his hold around her.

“And you'll never have to find out Lucy Grayson,” He promised.

Notes

This chapter was really fun for me to write. I love Lucy and Harry. What should their ship name be do you think? Also, any thoughts on this chapter being in the third person? :)
