"Better than words, but more than a feeling." — Harry Styles

♢ Lucy's POV ♢

Our lips moved together the same way a dandelion dances in the wind, carelessly and recklessly. Harry had tightened his grasp around my waist, a low moan vibrating against my lips as I combed my fingers through his long, unruly hair. The kisses were feverish, and the thirst for pleasure only seemed to grow stronger every time his mouth found its way back to mine; I couldn't get enough of it.

Droplets of rain began to trickle down my cheek as the summer air thickened with humidity. Everything around us was completely drenched in rain, but that wasn't enough of a reason to stop. We would keep going. Harry gently nibbled at my bottom lip, gaining entry to the foreign parcels of my mouth. He massaged his tongue ever so softly over mine, evoking a new kind of excitement deep within me. Frenching was not something in my neck of the woods, but I had a feeling the technique would come more naturally to me the more I practiced with Harry.

The protective hold around my waist gradually disappeared, for Harry's large hands developed an interest in my sides, trailing up to my shoulders where they rested firmly before his lips pulled away from mine. Foreheads pressed together, I inhaled the minty scent leaving his mouth, still breathless from our embrace. Harry's face broke out into a huge grin as he saw me blush while shyly looking down at the grass.

"I love it when your face gets red for me, baby," His husky voice rang like a soft melody throughout my ear before plump lips connected to the skin underneath the lobe, kissing down.

He attacked the spot above my left collarbone ferociously, making me moan out his name. Blood quickly rose to the surface of my skin as the flesh bruised to a purplish color. Harry lightly grazed his teeth over the sensitive mark before leaving a trail of wet kisses around the area. He lifted his head from my neck, admiring the hickey with a smug look on his face that made my eyes want to roll. I moved some hair over my chest to cover the bruise before releasing a soft sigh.

"Don't. It looks good on you," Harry insisted while nudging some of my hair out of the way to look at the love bite he left on my neck. I bit my lip in attempt to hold back a smile.

"Thanks," I replied before shifting my focus to my surroundings.

I could see everything so much more clearly now. Orange street lights illuminated the light drizzle creating the mystic atmosphere around me. Drip, drop, drip, drop went the water as it rolled off the leaves. The nighttime rain smells the sweetest. I closed my eyes to relish the moment and to enjoy the smell of wet grass invading my nostrils; I felt content. Once my eyelids fluttered open, I caught Harry watching me intently, trying to unravel the mystery behind my thoughts.

"You are the most mystifying creature I've ever laid my eyes on. Why is it that I'm only realizing it now?" He asked himself while bringing the back of my hand up to his heart-shaped lips. Harry softly kissed each knuckle before giving my palm a little squeeze.

"M-maybe you were only looking but not really seeing," I suggested, slightly frowning as he decided to let go of my hand. It felt oddly cold without the warmth of his.

"Looking but not really seeing, huh? You're gonna have to be a little clearer than that, love," Harry chuckled as I felt my face flush.

"It's...It's like looking at the tip of an iceberg. The only way you can discover the chunk underneath is by digging deep," I explained in more lucid terms. He showed his understanding by nodding along.

"Right, you have to look hard to find the bits and pieces of the puzzle even though they're already there," Harry grinned, satisfied with his educated interpretation.

"My thoughts exactly," I giggled.

"Wow, when did you become such a wise girl?" He asked teasingly. I simply shrugged.

"I literally thought of that in light of the moment," I admitted.

"Interesting. Well, I guess I should walk you back home now. It's getting pretty dark," Harry sighed, looking around the park before taking my hand in his.

"Yes, that would be the most logical thing to do," I agreed, "But first—" I stopped myself, mid sentence, and brought my lips to his in a gentle kiss. I needed to feel his lips on mine one last time tonight, for these feelings were almost too good to be true.

Harry kissed me back passionately, giving my hand a little squeeze before pulling away in a smile. "I'll never be able to get use to that. The feeling of your lips against mine is just pure perfection."

"Surreal..." I nodded in agreement.

Green eyes gave me a faint smile while tugging me along the stone path, leading us both out of the park. I rested my head on Harry's shoulder as we walked past the trees and looked up at the rain clouds, which were slowly starting to clear, when his words began to replay in my mind.

Pure perfection.

There really wasn't a better way to describe it.
