I took one last big breath and gathered myself before pulling away from Louis’s chest. I leaned back agent the tree and let my body slide down it, my back scratching the rough bark. I tucked my knees up to my chest and rested my can on my knees as I looked at the confused boy in front of me. “It all started when I was 5.” I started. I paused, waiting for him to realize what I was tiling about. Finaly realization flooded into his eyes and he quickly sat down next to me. “My mom and my dad had just gotten divorced. My dad moved who knows were, I haven’t had contact with him since the day he left. I don’t really remember much about him other that he and I were close then one day he was just gone. No goodbyes, no last I love you, he was just gone. My sister and I dident even know about the divorce until he was already gone. Any was, my parents got divorced and my mother fell into the hands of alcohol leaving me to take care of my 2 year old sister. I was five, I soul dent have had to do that.” I told him shaking my head.

“When I turned 8 my mother remarried a man named hunter.” I spat his name in disgust. “He drank as much as my mom and was very, um well, physical. He beat me and my baby sister Lea. My mom knew about it but did nothing. She would just leave the room so she wouldn’t have to watch. Hunter convinced her he was beating us for our own good.” I told him. I felt Louis’s body tense up next to me as he grabbed my hand, urging me to go on with the story. “I started to sing when I turned 13, not for me but for Lea. She love the way my voice sounded and it always calmed her down. She is the reason I tried out for the x- factor, because she always wanted me to. She was the only one that ever beloved in me. One night when I was 17 I was sinning Lea to sleep when Hunter came into the room. He was drunk as hell and rambling on about how his team lost the basketball game. It soon got bad and I pushed Lea into her closet whail I took the beating so she wouldn’t have to. That’s what I always did. He pushed me into a table and I hit my head pretty hard on it, causing me to black out. I woke up later in the hospital.” I said as I recalled the events.

*Flashback*
I opened my eyes to find myself in a small hospital room, my arms hooked to a hundred IVs running through my arms. I frantically looked around my room for Lea but she was no were in sight. A nurse walked in giving me a sad look. “Were is my sister.” I asked frantically “Im sorry I have to tell youths but she is dead. Your step father killed her. She was able to call the police from a phone whail he was beaten her but he couldn’t get there in time to save her, they were only able to save you. Your mother and step father were arrested.” She told me.

I was shocked. “No. No no no no No! She is not dead! NO!” I screamed as I swung my arms around. “Sweet heart, you need to calm down.” The nurse told me, but I dident listen. I had to get out of there. I sod up and started ripping the needles out of my arms as the nurse called for help. Many other people came in, pinning me back down to the bed as I kinked and screamed, totally breaking down.
*End of Flashback*

I violently sobbed when I finished telling the story. “My beautiful baby sister, my everything is gone and it’s my felt! I dident protect her! I let her die!” I screamed and fell back into Louis’s arms.
