What Made Them Different
A New Start?
Destiny's POV
I got out of the shower, put my towel around me, and headed towards my closet. I instantly had a panic attack when I saw Harry sitting on my bed smiling.
"Didn't anyone tell you it's not polite to stare?" I asked him trying to get him to stop staring.
"I can't help it, your just so beautiful!" he replied with a grin on his face. I started blushing a bit but then I snapped to reality.
"Harry get out, I need to change so we can go wherever your taking me" I said getting annoyed. He got off the bed and walked out of my room. I did my make-up, I put some foundation, blush, eye-shadow and very little mascara. I changed into a ocean blue dress. It was my favorite dress. The dress reminded me of my mom. She loved the ocean more than any plaÿce in the world. I didn't notice I was crying until a tear rolled down my cheek.
"I miss you mum" I whispered to myself. I also really missed my dad and sister but me and my mum bonded together more. I wiped the tear away and looked at myself one more time before I was ready for my "date" with Harry. I walked downstairs to see Harry sitting on the couch.
"Wow! You look amazing ! Are you ready to go?" heasked. I nodded and we headed towards the door. I locked the house door and walked to Harry's black range rover. He walked over to my door and opened it up for me to get in. I replied with a thank you and he nodded. He got to the drivers seat and started driving to wherever he was taking me.
"So, where are we going?" I asked impatiently.
"Stop calling me 'love' I don't like you so stop it" I said. He turned his face away from mine and was clearly angry. I felt bad that I said that. "I'm sorry Harry. I didn't mean it like that."
"Just forget it" he said and turned his head towards the road. Well that's just great. My "date" is angry at me. The whole ride was quite awkward to me honest. Harry parked the car and came to my side to open the door. I thanked him and got out of the car.
"Harry please talk to me! I'm really sorry and-" I was cut off ehen Harry started talking.
"I forgive you. Let's just forget all of this happened and start fresh ok?" I nodded and he took my hand and kissed. I turned my head away from him because I started blushing. "Did I tell you how beautiful you look in that dress?" I nodded no and he smiled. "Well I should tell you that more often" he said. Harry seemed like a really sweet person regarding the bad boy picture.
"Harry?" I asked.
"Yes love" he replied. "Sorry, slipped out of my mouth."
"It's fine. I don't really care what you call me. Also I think it's kind of cute, the whole 'love' thing."
"Thanks. So what were you going to ask me."
"Oh yeah. I was going to ask you, where are you taking me since we're in the middle of nowhere?" I asked confused.
"Follow me" he said taking my hand. We walked for about five minutes until we reached a beautiful meadow.
"Wow Harry! This place is beautiful!" I said taking in the beautiful scenery. "Thanks for bringing me here."
"your welcome beautiful" he said kissing my cheek. My stomach was starting to do summersaults.
Harry's POV
I'm so glad she liked it here. It really was beautiful meadow. Right now we were just sitting under a tree talking to each other I decided to ask her what I was waiting for. It's about time I get what I want.
"Hey Destiny?" I asked.
"Hmmm?" She replied looking around. Noes my chance. I slowly took out the small box from my jean pocket.
"I know we've only know each other for a while but I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?" I asked opening the box. In the box was a necklace with a paper airplane charm on it. Destiny stood there with a shocked expression on her face. I was scared to what answer was.
