What Made Them Different

*next day*

Destiny's POV

I woke up the next morning with a huge headache. I tried to remember last night's events. We were at the club and I got crazy drunk even though I only had one beer. My body felt cold and I noticed that I wasn't wearing any clothes besides a bra and panties. I tried getting up, but Harry had his arm around my body. I successfully got out of his reach without waking him up. I made my way downstairs to take some Advil. I got the pill and gulped it down with water. Slowly the headache went away but I wasn't tired anymore. I went to the living room and started watching t.v. I picked up the remote from the side table and noticed something that made my eyes water. It was a picture of my family. They were all smiling and looked happy. I didn't notice I was crying until a tear rolled down my cheek. No matter how much I tried to control the tears they wouldn't stop. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard footsteps come towards the living room. I wiped away the tears as quick as I could. I didn't want Harry to see me crying.

Harry's POV

I woke up this morning with Destiny not sleeping beside me. I got up slowly trying to get my eyes to adjust to the sun through the curtains. I put on my pair of sweatpants that I let Destiny borrow since I didn't bring any clothes to wear. I walked out of the room and went to the kitchen. Destiny wasn't there. I headed towards the living room and stopped when I heard someone crying. It was Destiny. Why was she crying? Did I do something wrong? Did I hurt her? Questions like that kept swarming throughout my head. I started to walk towards her and she quickly wiped away the tears. I sat next to her and she looked up at me and showed a fake smile.

"Good morning! How are you feeling?" I asked her.

"Better than before when I woke up. I took some Advil so my headache is gone" she said with a trembling. I noticed she tried to gods it as she stared down at her hands. I nodded back to her and we stayed quiet for a while until I broke the silence.

"Babe what's wrong? I know you were crying. Was it because of me? Did I do something wrong?" I asked puting an arm around her shoulder. She stayed quiet for a while until she spoke up.

"I miss my family!" She said as tears rolled down her face. She started bawling and I tried to comfort her.

"Why don't you go visit them?" I asked pulling her into a hug. I rubbed her back trying to calm her down.

"They don't want me Harry" she said. The words she said was like a bullet going through my heart. How could someone not want their own daughter.

"Do you want to talk about?" I asked her. I didn't want to pressure her because I new it was a touchy subject for her. She pulled away from the hug and nodded. She took in a deep breath and began talking.

Destiny's POV

"When I was a kid my parents were always there for me. They gave me everything I asked for and I always listened to them when I was told to do something. When I was fourteen years old, I had found out that my mum was diagnosed with cancer. Ever since I found out, I was always there with my mother. Me and my sister Lilly had always took care of my mum since are dad had always gotten drunk and never came back home from time to time." More tears rolled down my face as I tried telling my story. Harry was listening carefully as if his life depended on it. "My sister was a sixteen years old when she decided to leave the family. She told me she couldn't take care of our mum anymore and that she wanted to live her own life. I helped her out with running away. She's now living with her boyfriend. Soon enough my parents found out and I was in a lot of trouble for it. When I turned eighteen, I had decided to run away also. Ever since then I've been living here with June and we've had enough money to support each other. The day I left my house was the day I ended any relationship with my family. I still miss them but I have a better life here than I did with them." I finished explaining Harry my past.

"I'm so sorry baby! I didn't know that happened to you. I promise you won't ever feel alone or incomplete ever again. We have each other. You can count on me always being there for you." I looked up at him and quickly hugged him. No one had ever said that to me before. It felt so good to hear something said nice about you.

Harry's POV

"Thank you so much Harry!" She said whispering into my ear.

"Your welcome beautiful!" I replied back. She pulled away from the hug and instantly attached her lips to mine. we sat on the couch cuddled next to each other as we watched t.v. Her mood had soon lighten up and I was glad she wasn't crying anymore. It brakes my heart seeing her cry. She deserves to have everything in the world and I plan on giving her all of that. I may be a bad person but that doesn't mean I don't have a heart. I think I love her?
