Harry Styles Caught Out- AGAIN!

Harry Styles has recently been kicked out of yet another club in London. The once golden haired boy of pop was dishevelled and obviously intoxicated as he was escorted out of the exclusive venue. The incident did not stop him from smiling broadly as he left with two female companions who accompanied him in his chauffeured car to an unknown destination.
This casts yet another dark shadow over the One Direction franchise which has been tainted by recent scandals, from Louis Tomlinson’s alleged drug use to accusations of Zayn Malik cheating on his fiancée Perrie Edwards.

It was recently reported that Harry may be rekindling his relationship with former girlfriend, Lara Ballantyne, after they were spotted recently at the recent One Direction movie premiere. Lara, who has overcome her own demons, has now emerged as one of London’s up and coming interior decorators.

Sources say that she is keen to rekindle their romance, after their sudden breakup six months ago.

Styles’ management was contacted, but have so far refused to comment.

The headline screamed out to be read, the bold print, damning and accusing.

Lara could not help but focus on the second last line of the article, wondering if the rumour she wanted to be with Harry was created by the journalist or if Julian and his people were responsible.

She did not have time to dwell on it, before heading out to meet a potential client. It had been a while since her last job and she was looking forward to securing another space to decorate. Tony had passed on her details to his co-worker, for which she was grateful.

But she could not get Harry and Julian out her head.

Read the fine print, Julian had snapped at her. She knew he was referring to the agreement she had signed. And she knew it was only a matter of time before he called again…

As if he had read her mind, Lara received the call just as she was about to walk in to her appointment.

“What is it Julian?” She asked tersely.

“I need to see you now.” He replied quickly. No hello, no preamble, just straight to the point.
“I’m about to go into a meeting.”

“How long will you be?”

“I-I don’t know… half an hour maybe?” Lara stammered, mentally kicking herself for being so honest.

“Call me as soon as you finish.”

Lara let out a frustrated sigh before composing herself.

Read the fine print indeed. Did that mean forever being bothered by Julian? By the time she emerged from the meeting forty five minutes later, she found five missed calls.

“I need you to go to Harry’s house.” Julian said. “He’s not answering his phone.”

“So?”

“So, the last time this happened we had serious problems. I’m supposed to meet with him today. We’ve got overseas commitments next week and we need him to be in one piece.”

“Julian, I don’t think I should be the one to do this.” Lara said reluctantly.

“I beg to differ. With everything that has happened in the last few months I think you’re the best person to do this.”

“Julian-“

“Just tell him you came to pick up your stuff. Harry mentioned you had left some things behind.”

They argued back and forth for a little longer, until Julian backed her into a corner.

“You owe him Lara. He hasn’t been the same since you left.”

Lara gave in once it became clear he was not going to give up. She hailed a taxi with a heavy sigh and made her way to Harry’s apartment. She clutched her bag tightly as it came into view. She had always wondered why he lived in such a small apartment, but as he had explained to her once, he was rarely home. Even when the other boys in the group returned home to London, Harry opted to spend his time in LA. It was just not worth maintaining a huge house.

As she ascended the front steps to the foyer, the familiar figure of the doorman came into view.

“I’m here to see Harry.” She said.

It was obvious he recognised her as he smiled in response, but he seemed a little reluctant to call.

“Is he expecting you?”

“Yes.” She said without flinching.

He called to receive no answer from the apartment.

“I know he’s there. I’ll just knock.” Lara said. He nodded with a look in his eye she could not decipher. She knew he had always liked her and that he could give her the benefit of the doubt.

Lara reached Harry’s door minutes later and rapped against it. No response. She knocked harder and waited.

“Harry?” She finally called. “Harry, it’s me.”

Silence. Her heart suddenly jumped at the thought of Harry possibly being hurt. Julian was adamantthat Harry was home. Maybe something awful had happened… maybe…

Lara tried the doorknob and was relieved when the door swung open. The first thing she noticed was an empty vodka bottle on the coffee table. Lara barged into Harry’s bedroom, only to suddenly freeze in her tracks.

“Lara.” A bleary eyed Harry lifted his head up from his pillow. Lara did not reply her focus solely on the woman tangled in the sheets beside him. She rolled over to peer at her curiously, a look of recognition suddenly appearing on her face.

“What are you doing here?” Harry asked rubbing his eyes sleepily.

Lara spun on her heel and walked out of the room.

“Hey, hold up.”

She could hear Harry right behind her, but she kept her gaze zeroed in on the door. She could barely breathe as she reached out for the doorknob.

“Hey.” Harry’s hand closed over it and she was forced to turn to face him. He was shirtless and in his boxers and Lara bowed her head as she tried to leave again.

“Lara.” Harry said firmly.

“I-I have to go.” She said, unable to meet his eyes.

“Why are you here?”

“Julian… Julian said you weren’t answering your phone. He was worried. And I needed to pick some stuff up and the door was opened. I thought maybe something had happened.”

The words rushed out of her mouth and she looked up to see Harry frowning.

“Yeah well, I was busy.” He said, awkwardly running a hand through his messy hair.

“Yeah I can see that.” Lara replied. “Look I better go. I didn’t mean to interrupt.”

“Harry.” They both heard a voice call out from the bedroom. The woman appeared at the door, now wearing one of Harry’s shirts. “I need to be out of here in ten.”

“I better go.” Lara said, taking one last look at the woman who now disappeared into the bathroom. Harry followed her gaze and awkwardly gestured toward the woman.

“She’s my girlfriend.” He said.

“She doesn’t look like all those other girls I’ve seen you with lately.” Lara could not help but say.

“Yeah well…” Harry said uncomfortably, avoiding her eyes. Lara grabbed that opportunity to walk away and was halfway down the hall when Harry called out.

“Did you say you wanted to pick up some things?”

“No-“

“You left your textbook here.” He said. “Hang on a sec and I’ll get it for you.”

“No, it’s okay. Don’t worry. I don’t need it.”

Harry’s face assumed the same unimpressed expression he had when Lara chose to not further her education. It had been a sticking point in their relationship when Harry encouraged her to finish her degree and she had opted to quit and work instead. Lara avoided his eyes and walked away, not giving him a chance to protest.

Lara left the building, her face still burning, especially when she saw the doorman’s apologetic face, as if he knew she was going to be met with the sight of Harry in bed with another woman. She angrily wiped a tear that slipped out of her eye, as the humiliation washed over her. She had a sudden desire to see Tony. She needed to feel his arms around her and to tell her that everything was okay. Seeing Harry with another girl was no big deal. He had the right to have a girlfriend, he had the right to sleep with whomever he wanted. She was the one who had barged in on him. But it did not lessen the hurt.

Lara dialled Tony’s number and waited for him to answer. She was about to hang up when he finally spoke.

“Lara… how are you?”

“I’m fine… I’m… actually I need to see you. I need to talk. Harry-“

She stopped talking at the sound of Tony’s son giggling into the phone.

“Lara?” Tony said.

“Are you busy?” Lara asked.

“Kind of, I’m at the clinic for my son’s check-up.”

“Is he okay?”

“Yeah, it’s just an annual check-up. No big deal.” He said and Lara could hear his son laugh as though he were being tickled before she heard the sound of a female voice in the background.

“Lara, I need to go, we’re up next.” Tony said. “Susan, can you please take him? Go to Mummy. Good boy.”

“I’ll leave you to it.” Lara said.

“Sorry, maybe I can call you after?”

“Yeah… sure. Good luck with the check-up.”

Lara hung up and looked up when a flash of colour caught her eye. She was still standing outside Harry’s apartment building when she saw Harry’s girlfriend emerge. She looked older than Harry, with a mane of burgundy coloured hair and porcelain skin. Their eyes met and the woman gave a small smile as she walked away.

Lara was deep in thought when she turned to go in the opposite way and ran smack bang into someone.

“I’m sorry.” She spluttered only to look up and stare in shock. Ben smiled down at her and held her arm to steady her on her feet.

“You okay?” He asked.

“What are you doing here?” She managed to ask.

“Julian thought that maybe you’d need this.” He said, holding up a key. “It’s Harry’s house key.”

“If he had the key then why am I here?”

“Better you than us.” Ben said with smile.

Lara sighed as she began to walk.

“Hey, where are you going?” Ben called. “Let me take you home.”

She turned to face him incredulously.

“After all we’ve been through?” Lara said. “I don’t think that’s a great idea.”

“Lara…I’ve changed a lot since then.” He said seriously. “I’ve cut back the drinking. Julian insisted on this before he gave me back my job.”

“How did you get your job back anyway?” She asked.

“I threatened to sue them.” Ben said. “After what Harry did.”

Lara recalled how Harry had attacked Ben, leaving him with a bruised eye and a bruised ego. Lara shook her head in response.

“I told them I’d go to the tabloids and tell them everything unless they gave me back my job. It took a while but they finally gave in. I hated my sales job… you knew that. I needed to get my old job back.”

Ben studied Lara’s sombre expression and lightly touched her on the arm.

“I deserved it.” He said. “I deserved what I got. I never should have hurt you. But I was so mad Lara. So jealous.”

Lara looked up to see Ben gazing at her sincerely.

“I wanted you so much I couldn’t see straight. But I’ve changed now… just like you.” He said pointedly. “I think we’ve both changed a lot since then.”

Lara nodded in response before walking away.

“I can drive you home if you like.” Ben offered.

“It’s okay… I’ll find my own way.” She said. She did not know how to feel as she made her way down Harry’s street. It was enough to make her head spin. She was contemplating on whether to hail a taxi or just disappear into the nearest café when she received a message on her phone.

Harry: Can’t believe you’re still talking to that asshole. Are you never going to learn?

Realising that Harry had witnessed her entire exchange with Ben, she nervously quickened her pace as she made her way down the street.

Just finished Chapter 101. I feel so bad for Harry. It's obvious he still loves her. Can't wait to find out what happened between them. I don't like Tony.
