Over Again

"Gracie, Zayn's here to see you," I hear Brandy calling from the other side of the door. I don't answer. "Please, Gracie. You haven't come out of there in days." I hear her sigh, then tell Zayn something.

"I'm coming in, okay?" I stay silent. "Alright." Zayn opens the door, and then shuts it behind him. He walks over to where I am, which is my bed. I face the roof, seeing all the glow-in-the-dark stars I put up there when I painted the room black.

"Hey," he says as he sits on the bed. He looks up at the ceiling. "You always did love the stars."

"Just get to the point, Zayn," I say monotonously.

"Well, Mum and the girls wanted to see if you could come over for Christmas this year," he says nervously. "And...I wanted to see you there too." I look up at him.

"Like, for a visit? Zayn, I really don't-"

"No no, we'll just have some dinner, exchange presents, all that. Lou and Liam are coming, but Harry and Niall couldn't," he says dismissively.

"But Zayn, wouldn't it be weird if I came over? I haven't seen the girls, or your mum, for...three and a half years. And I don't know what those mate of yours like. What if I got one chocolate, and he liked vanilla?" Okay...that didn't make sense, but go with it.

"Just look them up online, LIAM PAYNE LIKES AND DISLIKES, LOUIS TOMLINSON..." You get what was said next.

I hesitate. "Okay, but if one things is said about anything, I'm leaving on the spot." Zayn grins, seizing me in his arms.

"Thank you thank you thank you." I smile when he lets me go.

"You sound like you're fourteen again, Zee," I say. "And I had just bought you McDonalds."
