Over Again

I was sitting in the swing when I heard a car pull up. I stared at my lap, knowing it'd be no one I knew. My legs slowly moved, making me rock back and forth, back and forth.

I heard a car door slam, then another. Then feet on the pavement.

Pat....pitty-pat- pat....pat

I heard a little girl yelling at the person she'd came with to hurry up. "Come on, slowpoke! Get a move on!" I smiled slightly at my feet. Zayn and I used to always say that to each other when we felt sluggish.

At this point I couldn't really feel my bum anymore; I'd been here too long. This was like mine and Zayn's old place, another place I could come, and just think.

I heard the groan of the merry-go-round and then the huffing of someone pushing it.

"Faster," the little girl barked. "Faster!" Zayn would always push me when we came here, and he'd get all tire out and fall onto the sand, then ask me to get the sand off his back and legs. Never did I go near his bum. Nope.

I heard the girl mumble something to the person she came with, but I still stared at the sand under my feet. Then I felt someone staring at me, so I ducked my face behind my hair, which I had let down, and put a baseball cap on with the Yankee symbol on it.

I suddenly heard a Crack! and a Boom! from overhead.it started pouring. Great, I didn't bring a car, or an umbrella.

"C'mon Zayn, what are you doing," I heard the girl shout. I looked up and saw Zayn there, his hand out to me. I grabbed it, an he pulled me up.
