Just a stupid love story

I didn’t want to go home but i knew i had to. I knew i was going to be punished for not coming home last night. I looked at my phone 7 missed call. they were all from my dad. I went out one the balcony. I dialed the number and brought the phone to my ear.
“Echo!?” i heard my dads drunk voice. He was angry.
“Hi dad” i spoke quietly.
“Where the hell are you?”
“I fell asleep at Horrors last night”
“Whatever if you’re not home in the next 10 minutes you’ll get punished!”* I started to cry. “
But dad.. I”
“No buts!” he said sternly. He ended the call. I cried even harder. There was no way i could walk home on 10 minutes. I walked into the living room. Everyone was up now. They were all staring at me. My mascara was all mixed up with my tears and my eyes were probably all red. Horror was the first one to react and she quickly run to me. She rubbed her arms around my back, trying to comfort me.
“Shhh..it will be alright” Her words comforted me even though i didn’t believe them. It wasn’t going to be okay. I could run away from my dad, but the memories would always be haunting me. I dragged Horror to the bathroom and explained the situation i was in.

Liams Pov:
It hurt me so bad to see her cry.
I knocked on the bathroom door.
"Anybody need a lift?" i asked.
Echo opened the bathroom door and gave me a huge hug.
I didn't mind at all, bout i didn't see why it was such a big deal.
I wouldn't think about that now instead i just enjoied the hug.
Echos POV:
I wasn't planning on hugging Liam but he had just saved my ass.
It would only take him like 5 minutes to drive me.
I pulled away from the hug.
"Theres only six minutes left" Horror reminded me.
Liam was confused.
"Long story" was all i could say.
I took his hand and dragged him to the door. We got our shoes on and rushed through the door.
