It was the day my best friend Harey and I were deciding to make the biggest desicion of our life. That desicion was signing up for one of the most thriling things a person can experience....The United States Marine Corps. We thought that this was a good was to run away from our past at home. To escape all the negativity in life.

After sign ups, we had 5 days until having to head off to boot came so we took the opportunity to say good bye to our families and friends. We spend the last two days to pack our things and get some much needed sleep. It was Crazy knowing that we are about to experience a whole other world that we thought we would be abe to experience. We both know that we can take all physical things because we were the sporty type.I danced harley Cheered, we were both did softball and swim team but basketbal wasnt our thing.

We had to get up in at two in the morning to go to the airport. Our plane to Georgia was leaving at 5:30 and we leaved an hour away from thr airport. We had stopped and got breakfast at Mcdonalds and went straight to the Louis Armstronging national airport. The plane only took 2 hrs and 30 mins. I sleep the whole way but of course im surprised Alyssa didn't clean out all the food and drinks in the plane. We finally arrive and it was 7:30 due to time change. When we arrived on Fort Benz (our basic training unit) we had to find our barracks and room number. I was glad I got to share a room with Alyssa because she's my best friend. Before we started training we had to take a day to get all vaccinations needed and paper work done. Then the next day is when basic training started....
