Hearing her say that she chose the baby was no surprise. She had always loved kids, and constantly expressed how excited she was to have a family of her own. I too was excited... just not ready now. I stormed out of the house with keys in my hand and knew where I had to go.
The 3 hour car ride was relaxing and helped me think about the whole baby situation, maybe this could be fun. I knocked on the door and my mother answered the door, happy to see me. After sitting down with my family for a while, I explained the situation to my mom- who had tears in her eyes- her first grandchild. She ."so understanding and told me what I had to do- go back to my Delilah. I drove back as fast as I could not wanting to spend any more time away from my wife and got back home at one in the morning. I made my way up to our bedroom and was relieved to see Delilah sleeping there.
I watched her sleep for a couple minutes before laying down next to her. She woke up when i put my arm around her waist and turned to face me. I looked into her deep brown eyes as I pushed the loose hairs out of her face and knew I was making the right decision.
"Delilah?" I spoke. "You're going to be a great mom."
she gave me a look as if saying 'are you serious?' before grinning and saying "And you're going to be a great father."

*end of flashback*


As I got up from the room in the basement, I joined my co-worker and best friend back in the living room and got back to work.

Delilah's POV:

After the girls went home the next morning, I decided to quick take a shower so I could begin working on my project with Ryan. I sent him a text telling him my address and he responded saying he would be here in half an hour. I got dressed putting on a black tank top and a flannel with my favorite faded blue shorts. i threw my hair up in a bun and was just putting on my mascara when I heard the doorbell ring. Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one. By the time I got downstairs Harry had answered the door and was talking to a very nervous Ryan.
"So do you and Paisley have a date today?" I heard my dad ask.
Embarrassed I ran to the Kitchen and answered. "No Harry, we just have a project to work on. He took this as his cue to go back to work and shut the door in is office.
"sorry about that." I finally said after leading Ryan to our living room. He shrugged it off and was looking around the house at all the pictures. There weren't that many. One of my grandma Anne and Aunt Gemma with Harry after one of his concerts. Several of Harry and Louis, and in the center where everyone could see it, was a picture of a couple kissing on the beach. The girl in a dazzling white dress and the man in a fitted black tux. I often looked at that picture, wondering how my mother, who was so gorgeous, could love such a horrible man. on the mantle there was a picture of my mom and Harry on their first date at a concert. Ryan noticed it and smiled at me, "Is that your mom? you look just like her." I nodded and he kept smiling. "I didn't know your dad was in a band, that's cool right? were they any good?" I laughed. were they any good? of course they were. "They were okay. Decently popular." I shrugged, not feeling like talking about my family at all.

"Maybe we should start working" i suggested and Ryan happily agreed.
It only took me and Ryan a couple hours to finish our project, and wasn't long after we were done that he said he had to go home before his game tonight.

I smiled thinking about the game tonight, specifically Kyler.

not a great chapter, but hopefully it will do. I have had some people ask me if I was done for this story for good and to answer those questions, I AM NOT :) I am so sorry it took me so long to update but hopefully now i will be able to find time to write more regularly! enjoy:)
