Beating Heart

Jasper's P.O.V

Fuck, I knew it was going to come out, but I wasn't ready. I'm not even ready for marriage, a baby, or a family! I just want to be home snuggled up in bed crying.

"Okay." I slip out, before we start eating. I pick mashed potatoes and steak out of everything on the table. I can't eat anything when I'm feel weird inside.

"Good, your marriage will take place on Sunday." Zayns mom says. What? Sunday?! Why don't we wait awhile?

"Why Sunday? Why not in a few months?" I ask them.

"So you two don't run away. You don't get out of town until you're married." His dad says.

"That's very unfair though." I say.

"I don't care. You're under my roof, therefore you listen to what I say!" He booms. His wife tries to calm him down from across the table.

"Can I get some fresh air, please?" I ask, quietly. He nods and sends a guard out with me. They lead me out to a small patio. "Oh my god." I can't believe this is happening. I do want to marry Zayn, but when I'm older and I can make wiser decisions. "I'm ready." The guard leads me back to the dining room.

The Malik family is just finishing their meal as I sit watching Zayn. He eats correctly, with manners and such. I don't think that's my Zayn, though.

I'm excused from the table along with Zayn after they finish. Zayn instantly takes me outside.

"Jasper." He hugs me. "Even if it was forced," he bends down and opens a small black box. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes! Of course!" I laugh. "But I wish it wasn't too soon."

"Yeah." He nods understandingly. "My dad is always forcing things." We sit on a bench, facing each other. "But I'm happy with him forcing this. Not the forcing part, but us being together." He smiles.

"Same here, Zayn." I say, before an awkward silence surrounds the both of us.

"Hey, let's get going." He looks up in the sky, which makes his skin glow more. I nod and grab his hand as he takes me inside. "You must be across from Janes room, right?" He asks.

"Yeah." I sigh, as we walk into my room. I plop back on the bed and pull the hot dress off, leaving me in my underclothes. "Get out." I throw a pillow at him as he closes the door.

I quickly change into a pair of athletic shorts and a tank top Jane let me borrow. I brush out my hair and pull it back in a ponytail. I'm not going anywhere, this is my usual pajamas anyway.

I look at the time, it's ten thirty. "Jasper Ward, I would like to speak with you." I hear the Irish boy say on the other side of the door. I scoff and open the door.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask him.

"Mrs. Malik would like to speak to you about the wedding dress." He says. Oh great! We're going to discuss the wedding.

"Fine." I slam the door behind me and make my way downstairs, following the boy. He leads me into a huge room filled with clothes, and I see Mrs. Malik looking at some wedding dresses. "Uh, it's Jasper."

"Hello, darling." She smiles. "Pick the one you like the most." I look at the assortment of dresses. Some are black, most of them are white, and a tiny portion are red. I keep eyeing a long, white, strapless sweetheart dress with lace flowers. I finally pick it and she puts hangs it up next to a suit, which I'm guessing is Zayns. "Honey, I was forced to marry too. I know it's hard. It was the same problem for me! I was bitten by Zayns father and I was forced to marry him. And if you have any trouble with Mr. Malik, in will help."

I nod and head back to my room, Zayn lays there on my bed, playing on a phone.

"Goodnight." I mumble, before turning out the light and drifting off to sleep.

So yeah they're getting married! Haha I wanted to update even though I am a bit tired. I hope to make a sequel after this, maybe. Or maybe just an epilogue or something haha. Thanks bye!
