It was my sweet 16 birth-day.
So i got dressed and tried to run out the door but my mom stopped me and said “happy sweet 16” i wondered why 16 is so sweet,shouldn't all birth-days be sweet?
“hey mom” - Raven

“here is a cake you can have now if you like” - mom

i put my finger on the cake and slid my finger through the icing and shoved it in my mouth.I won’t lie the cake was good.then my mom came out with a bag.

“here is a present” - mom

“thanks,” i shook the bag and heard a rattling sound,i hopped it was car keys,so opened the bag excitingly and found a jewelry box.I opened the box and pulled out a pearl necklace.

“every girl should have a pearl necklace for a special day” - my dad said coming in the room

“thanks” I squeezed them both and was about to put the necklace back but my parents looked at me sternly,so i modeled it for them.

“oh you look beautiful,honey go get the camera” -my mom demanded my dad,and my dad ran and got the camera and was back before i could escape.I only let my parents take one picture.

When i was about to leave Becky came flying in.
“happy b-day”she squealed handing me a bag.

“you don’t have to get me anything you know “- Raven

“you say that every year,go on open it “ she demanded me

When i opened it i pulled out the most awesome thing ,it was a leather necklace with a charm and the charm was a bat.

“omg,i love it” - i squealed as my parents looked out of the kitchen and i heard my my saw “next time lets give her our money.” i looked over at Becky and just said “pearls” and she nodded.

“bye mom, bye dad we have to go to school” - me and Becky ran out to her dads pick up truck and drove off to school.

Later me and Becky went to gym and i wore my usual black-on- black cloths.My gym teacher called me and,Becky and i just walked slowly over to him.
“Raven why can’t you ever wear what your suppose to to wear” - Gym teacher

“because i don’t do white-on-white” -Raven

“well please cut me some slack and were what you're suppose to wear” -Gym teacher

“well,maybe you can cut me some slack its my 16 birth-day ” - Raven

“fine,not because its your birth-day but because i don’t feel like sending you to the office” - gym teacher

So after that me and Becky were walking toward the bleachers were everyone else was.
“so its your 16 birth-day,just ripe for love don’t you think mack” - Trevor

“ya,just ripe” - Mack

me and Becky kept walking and sat on the other side of the bleachers and Trevor and Mack sat on the other side away from us. Then Trevor yelled across the bleachers so everyone could hear.

“so monster girl what are you doing for your 16 birth-day,sitting at home on a friday night with farm girl becky watching scary movies” - Trevor

I hated when Trevor teased me but i hate it even more when he teased Becky.

“no actually,we were planning on crashing Macks party tonight” - Raven

Becky gave me this look like she was saying why are you dragging me into this .

“fine you can come but remember we drink beer not blood” - Trevor

after that everyone was laughing except me and Becky.
