Three Months Married

Chapter 1

I stood in front of the sink doing the washing from the past two nights, which I failed to do after one, eating so late and two, wanting to spend the little time I had with my husband. So while he was in the studio recording the new album I stayed home doing the things I didn't want to do when he was home.

Time with him was precious because he'd be home for a week or two before he would have to leave again to go to another part of the world for up to eight months. This time he'd be home for just a few days before he had to leave me to go do some press things America. We'd just been married about three months, dating three for three years before that. But in those three months I'd seen him maybe one. That month though had been almost completely about us, especially the honey moon: two weeks alone on an island, far away from the things that came with being him.

It's not like I married him not know he'd be gone most of the time, I knew that, and although it was incredibly hard, I knew we would manage.

So there I was rinsing the last dish, singing along to my ipod that sat in the counter next to the sink. It was on shuffle. And of course being the good girlfriend that I was three years ago, I had bought all of his albums and put them on it. My favorite, They Don't Know About us came on, it being my favorite, of course I knew all the lyrics.

"Sweetheart?" His voice called though our house. I turned down the volume.

"In the kitchen cupcake!" I called back. His footsteps got louder as he approached. "How was your day?" I asked grabbing a towel to dry the dishes I had just washed.

"Long," He yawned. "Got some good work done though." He also grabbed another towel to help.

"That's good. What would like for dinner?" I put away the dishes he dried.

"You have cooked for me this whole time I've been home, what do you want?" He handed me the last dish looking at me in the eyes.

"I know how much you like a home cooked meal, and it's nice to cook for someone." I told him truthfully. "How about some chicken casserole." I took the dish putting it away.

"Sounds delicious." He wrapped his arms around me, bringing me close to him.

"When do you leave tomorrow" He had asked me to come, heck management asked me to come, but I liked to keep our personal life away from his professional life. As much as I missed him, it still wasn't quite worth the stories and rumors, and pictures and the comments. We'd been together going on our fourth year, we were married, and I still received negative comments from some of his "fans". It sucked and I hated it, I dealt with it by not trying to involve myself in the lifestyle that came with marrying a member of one of the biggest boy bands in the world.

"Two in the afternoon." He gave the top of my head a hard kiss after I'd tighten my grip around him. "Are you sure you don't want to come, I feel like I haven't seen you in a year." He confessed. "Even if you don't come everywhere with me, even if you come just to sleep next to me at night, I always sleep better with you there." I thought about it once more.

"I sleep better with you next to me as well." I truly did, particularly now that I know what it feels like since we'd married.

"Does that mean you'll come?" He held me out, his hands wrapped around my barely there bicep. I nodded a smile covering my face. I broke the rule I'd created for myself to protect myself. I still had trouble remembering I didn't need to protect myself. He had said in his vows he would do his best to protect me from anything and everything. Relief swelled through my body.

"I love you." I told him laying my head down on his chest.

"And I love you." He said kissing the top of my head. We stood in our state of the art kitchen in silence. Something we haven't been able to do at all the four days he has been home.

"Sara?" His voice was calm.

"What is it Harry?"

"I'm glad you are coming with us."

"Me too." He gave me another kiss on the top of my head before I released my grip on him to start making us dinner.

I woke up in a foreign bed, my head pounding, my stomach turning. If I didn't get up within the next few seconds, I'd end up spilling my insides on the floor next to the bed. I flung the cover off me, getting up and running to the bathroom, a hand over mouth as the bile rose.

"Sara?" I'd woken him up, I hadn't meant to. He was quickly in the bathroom next to me, holding the hair away from the toilet.

"I'm fine." I tried to say as more puke tickled my throat expelling it's self from my body.

"No you aren't." He told me. "I feel fine, it couldn't be something you ate, because we ate the same thing." He was talking about the dinner we had the night before at a small restaurant down the street from our hotel. He put his hand on my forehead. "You don't feel warm." He stated. After I got sick for a third time, I felt fine. Maybe a little thirsty and a bit dizzy. But what ever angered my stomach seemed to be gone.

"Seriously I feel fine now." I stood up to go to the sink, washing my face and brushing my teeth. If only he knew about the other mornings. He was usually gone by the time I'd woken up with the sick feeling in my tummy.

"You were sick!" He raised his voice in concern. Now didn't really seem like the best time to tell him.

"I'll be fine, I wasn't going around with you today any how." I tried to comfort his concern. It didn't work, he called for room service to bring up all that I would need if I were sick, which I wasn't.

I crossed the room to my bag picking out some leggings and a v-neck. Then I opened his bag finding one of his jumpers to wear over the v-neck. I went into the bathroom again to shower.

"I feel fine now, it doesn't even feel like I'd just been violently sick." I called from the bathroom as I undressed.

"All right, if you say so. You look fine, not pale anymore." He said standing in the doorway. I went under the water, it soaking me completely. The temperature perfectly hot, just how I like it.

After I was out, Harry jumped in. I sat on our bed watching Doctor Who on Netflix. Harry came out, his usually springy curls, completely flat from the wetness. His green eyes glowing from under the hair hanging in front of his forehead.

"Are sure you're going to be all right here, by yourself?"

"Yeah, all I need is this bed, and this computer." I assured him. There were a few knocks on the door as I could hear Liam calling our for Harry.

"I'm coming!" Harry yelled back walking towards the door. Harry flung it open, so the lads could come in and see me.

"I heard you weren't feeling well this morning." Niall said crossing the room.

"It was nothing, Harry is just worried about nothing. I'm fine." I kept trying to tell myself.

"All right, well call me if you need anything. And if I don't pick up call one of them. I should pick up, but in the small chance I don't..." He trailed off. He gave me a small hug, not wanting to squeeze too hard, and put another kiss on my head before leaving.
