I woke up to a text. James and I have been dating for a couple of weeks now. I really feel like I am getting over Liam now. James is such a sweetheart. Since the BTR tour ended, the boys have some vacation time and they seem to spend quite a bit of it here with me. Every so often he brings me flowers at work, picks me up from classes for a quick date, or takes me out for a fun evening. It is so refreshing. I opened the text.

James: Good morning sunshine :)

He always made me smile with silly little things like that.

Me: Morning babe!
James: Free today?

I checked my wall calendar briefly. Today was Saturday and there were no concerts happening today so I could do whatever I wanted.

Me: I'm all yours :)
James: I love it when you say that! Want to go to the fair with me and the guys?
Me: Of course! I'll be ready in an hour.
James: Can't wait to see your gorgeous face :)

I sat my phone down and hopped in the shower. 30 minutes later, my hair was done and I just needed clothes and makeup. I kept my makeup simple and just wore a tshirt and shorts since we weren't going anywhere fancy.

I was ready with 10 minutes to spare. I picked up my room a bit until I heard the doorbell. Nobody else was home, so I grabbed my things and headed out. I met James on the porch with a soft kiss that he returned. We just looked into each other's eyes for a moment before hearing Carlos yelling from the passenger seat.

Carlos: JAMES! SHAY! HURRY UP! LET'S GO!

We hurried to the car and hopped in the back with Logan. Kendall was driving. We chatted the whole way, just being silly and enjoying each other's company. When we got there, we hopped out of the car and got in quickly. The boys didn't really have to worry about fans because we were in a small town fair. I got ready to pay for admission when James stopped me.

James: I've got it.
Me: James, I can buy my own admission.
James: A lady shouldn't be paying for herself.

I blushed a bit and got up on my tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek.

Me: Just another reason you are so amazing.
James: Not as amazing as you.
Logan: Ok enough of the lovey dovey stuff.
Kendall: Yeah! Let's go have some fun!

We all hollered and took off for the nearest ride. After a while, James and I excused ourselves from the group and went to play some games. I completely failed at the dart game and almost took out the eye of the worker, but it was fun.
James just laughed at me.

James: Next time try to hit the balloons
Me: I know the objective of the game, smarty pants!
James: Didn't look like it. This is an easy game.
Me: Well if its so easy then you try it.

I handed him a dart and he took it, getting in my face to try and prove his point. The whole charade just made me laugh. He threw it and it went perfectly between two balloons.

Me: Next time try to hit the balloons

I mocked his voice and he couldn't help but laugh.

James: Don't mock me!

With that he picked me up and I squealed, ordering him to put me down, but he wouldn't listen. I looked up to see where we were going. Oh no. There was a water trough ahead. I wriggled in his grasp, but his hold was firm. Before I knew it, I was dropped into it and soaked through. I sat up, flinging my arms to rid them of water. James was cracking up.

Me: JAMES!
James: What my dear?
Me: You ruined my new shirt!
James: It looks fine.
Me: No its not. Just help me out.

I acted frustrated and he hurried back to me and offered his hand, looking concerned. I took full advantage of the opportunity and yanked him in beside me.

James: You little...

He seemed more upset with himself for falling for that than anything. He came towards me like he was going to pay me back. I stopped him by coming willingly towards him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer, kissing me back.

We broke off the kiss, smiling at each other. He looked so attractive with his hair all wet. I was sure I looked terrible and that my maskara was running, but I didn't really care. I spoke up.

Me: We should probably go find the others.

He nodded and got out of the trough before helping me out. We walked around for a bit before we saw the others running up to us. Their expressions changed when they saw us.

Kendall: What in the world happened to you guys?
Logan: Yeah I don't recall this being a waterpark.

James and I looked at each other before looking back at them.

Me: It's a bit of a long story.

After grabbing some food and a couple of other things we headed out. They dropped me off at my house and James walked me up to the front door.

Me: I had a great time today.
James: Me too.
Me: Call me tomorrow?
James: What else would I be doing?

I smiled and he kissed me goodnight before running back to the others. I watched them drive off before hopping in the shower.
