I rolled over in my sleep before the buzzing of my phone dragged me into consciousness. I picked it up and opened the message.
Harry: Morning sleepy :)
I smiled as I read it. He was so cute.
Me: Good morning :)
While I waited for a response I looked at the clock. It was 11:00. I didn't have anything to do today but the guys had rehearsal until 4:00. I texted Brooke and Rose and by the time I had sent those messages, Harry had answered me.
Harry: Miss you at rehearsals :(
Me: You are so sweet! Don't worry; when you get back we are going to do something fun!
I texted the girls for a while. Being in London, I didn't see them hardly ever and we were all busy so we didn't get to talk all the time. Soon he replied.
Harry: I'm getting told off so I will see you at 4. Can't wait!
I pulled myself out of bed and got ready. I only had a little homework so I decided that I would surprise the boys. I went down to the kitchen and looked around. There was absolutely nothing. I sighed to myself. Niall ate everything in sight. I went out and got a cab. After a quick little shopping trip I was back in the kitchen, baking. I made brownies and cookies and a few other goodies. I looked at the clock, 3:52. The boys would be back any minute now. I put the treats on a plate and cleaned up the kitchen. I went back into my room to get my phone off the charger when I heard the boys come in.
Liam: What's this?
Zayn: That looks so good!
Louis: Come to daddy.
I walked in, laughing at their comments, to find them devouring everything. Harry was in the middle of eating a cookie and came over to me and put his arm around me.
Harry: (muffled) You made all this?
I giggled.
Me: Yes. I wanted to surprise you guys.
Niall: These are delicious!
They all came over, in turn and hugged me. Louis picked me up and spun me around. I let out a squeal.
Me: Louis! Put me down!
Louis: NEVER!
He ran with me into my bedroom and let me fall onto the bed. I was laughing.
Me: You are crazy, you know that?
Louis: I try.
He helped me off the bed and we rejoined the rest of them.
Me: So what shall we do tonight?
The guys exchanged glances and I crossed my arms.
Me: What is it?
Niall: There is this party that we have been invited to.
Harry: Will you come with us?
I shrugged.
Me: I guess it could be fun.
The guys high-fived each other.
Me: But nothing too crazy!
Louis: Us? Crazy? Never!
Me: Right! Especially you.
I went to change. The guys had on nice clothes so I had to dress up a bit. I quickly added to my makeup and put on this http://www.polyvore.com/going_out/set?id=42765411. I quickly returned to the guys, who were finishing off all that I had baked. Their eyes widened, especially Harry. I smiled sheepishly and bit my lip.
Niall: Whoa
Harry: You amaze me.
Me: I try. I have to keep you on your toes.
I adjusted his bowtie as I said that last part and grabbed my clutch.
Me: You boys ready to party?
Louis: Yes, but tell me, are you here by yourself tonight, love?
He came up and offered me his hand. Harry quickly batted him away and laced his fingers through mine.
Me: Sorry I'm taken.
I kissed Harry on the cheek, lightly, so that none of my lipstick would rub off. We hopped in a cab and we were off. Soon we arrived and there were paparazzi everywhere. The guys were used to it, but it about blinded me. Harry held me close and we both smiled for a few snaps until he had decided that it was enough and pulled me into the club. The guys all took off for the dance floor, and Harry pulled me along with him. We danced for a while and then I asked to go get a drink. We made our way to the bar and he asked me what I wanted.
Me: Just a water.
Harry: Are you sure?
Me: Quite.
He got me a water and got a beer himself. My cousin was an alcoholic and the smell of beer revolted me. I looked at Harry.
Me: We just got here.
Harry: I'm just having a sip. Relax.
I let it go and finished my water. He pulled me back to the dance floor. We found the rest of the guys and I danced with all of them. I looked around, but couldn't find Louis. I was about to ask about him when I found him at the bar with several empty glasses around him. This would be interesting. Zayn soon joined him, along with Melissa, who only had one martini. I returned my attention to the boys dancing. Harry was starting to get a wee bit tipsy. I danced with Liam, along with a few new people I had met while Harry went back to the bar. Zayn and Melissa rejoined us soon. We were having loads of fun when Louis came stumbling back with Harry and Niall. He leaned on my shoulder and reeked of alcohol.
Louis: Elllllooo!
Me: Louis, are you alright?
Louis: Juuuust peachy.
Liam: This happens a lot.
Me: Do you not drink?
Liam: I can't, my liver.
I nodded and Harry laughed. He was holding another drink in his hand.
Me: Don't you think that's enough?
Harry: Oh come on, Shay! Have a little fun.
He nudged me and I stepped back, into Liam's arms. I apologized and he waved it off.
Me: Fun is hanging out with the real you, not watching you get wasted.
Harry: I've only had four.
He held up 2 fingers. This was terrible.
Me: We need to go now.
He put his face inches from mine.
Harry: You might like it.
Me: Um no let's go.
Harry: I wanna stay!
Louis: Oh please don't take my Harry away.
He put his hand on Harry's face and they both laughed.
Me: Fine then I'm leaving.
Liam: I will take you home.
Me: What about them?
Liam: Melissa can take care of them. She is used to it.
I turned and followed Liam to a cab.
Liam: I'm sorry about the boys.
Me: It's ok, it's just that my cousin was an alcoholic and I can't stand what alcohol does to people.
Liam: I understand.
Liam walked with me from the cab to the apartments.
Liam: Do you want to come over and watch a movie until the guys get back so you’ll know they are safe?
I smiled. He was so thoughtful.
Me: I'd like that.
I went into his house with him and he got a movie going. We watched for a while before we heard the guys at the door.
