More Than Friends
Chapter 12
'Bye, Mum see you soon.' I said hugging her, me and Harry were leaving today, we had to leave early to get back for lunchtime because Harry had an interview on 'Loose Women' with the boys.
My mum whispered in my ear as she hugged me, ‘Go careful, I know you’ve known him since you were little, but he is mega famous and I don’t want you to get hurt.’ I nodded my head, she was right.
Maybe ‘round 2’ as Harry said wasn’t such a good idea, also after the events of the past few days, I don’t wanna get pregnant again, maybe it will be a while before I have sex again. I hugged the rest of my family and then me and Harry left.

We got to Harry’s about 11, Harry dropped me off and then went straight over to the studio for the interview, I asked him if I could have my best friend over while he was gone and he didn’t mind at all.
'Em!' I shrieked as I opened the door, I hadn't seen my best friend in 3 weeks, we had a lot of catching up to do. We grabbed a hot chocolate and curled up on the sofa covered by a duvet, me on one end and Emma on the other.
'So, I hear you have a new man, Mr Styles.' she said, I nodded my head, 'Yeah, I guess.' I replied, 'What do you mean, I guess?' said Emma, I shrugged my shoulders, 'Well, we are together but, Its not really out in the open yet.' I replied.
'Kate, its all over the internet, and you don't call that out in the open.' said Emma, I shrugged my shoulders again.
'You do love him right?' she continued. 'How could you say that, I love him so much, with my whole life, but I just feel fragile, after Jack.' I replied rather loudly gradually getting quieter.
'Harry has been trying to make me have sex with him, but I don't want to yet. I mean, last week was stressful…' I replied, I knew after saying that, I would have to tell her about the doctors and the whole…… being pregnant thing.
'What do you mean stressful?' she asked. 'I had to go to the doctors, because I found out I was um, pregnant.' I replied, I heard a shriek come from Emma's mouth.
'I'm so happy for yo-' I cut her off, 'No Emma, not yay, because I'm not pregnant anymore.' Her face became sad, 'What happened?' I shook my head, and my eyes filled with tears 'I couldn't have it, I'm too young, I don't want a baby, Em, I couldn't go through with it, so I went to the doctors.' I started to burst into tears, I felt Emma move closer and hug me tightly.
'I won't tell anyone, unless you want me to.' I looked up at her and shook my head. She finally calmed me down then asked me the crucial question.
'Jack's?' I nodded my head, I knew exactly what she meant. We finally stopped talking and put loose women on, then came 1D.
'So Harry you have a new girlfriend, Katie is this correct?' asked one of the women, Harry nodded his head and smiled, 'So how is that going for you?' another asked.
'Great, we are really happy, and I think it makes it easier because we grew up together.' he replied.
Emma looked at me and gave me a huge smile, I smiled back. The women then moved onto the other boys.
Harry’s POV.
'Hey, I'm home.' I walked into my flat to find Katie and her Emma asleep on the sofa. I went over and kissed Kate's forehead, then decided I would go and get a snack, I was in the middle of making my sandwich when I felt two hands wrap around my waist and kiss my cheek.
'Alright babe.' asked Katie, I turned to face her and wrapped my arms around her waist, 'I'm great, now that I'm here with you.' I replied, Katie blushed slightly and rested her head on my chest. I felt her smile into my chest, so I kissed her on her forehead, 'I liked what you said.' she murmured, I nodded my head and released her from my grip, 'Do you want one?' I asked her, showing her my sandwich, she nodded.
'Shall I make Emma one as well, does she like these sandwiches?' I added. She nodded again.
'Go sit down, I won't be long.' I told her, she kissed my cheek and then made her way to the sofa and covered her whole body in the duvet and all you could see was her head, she looked up and me and grinned like a Cheshire cat, I was literally wetting myself with laughter.
I finished making the sandwiches and took them to the sofa, and set them down on the coffee table.
I slid under the duvet next to Kate and handed her her sandwich, we talked and ate at the same time, mainly about things that were happening, work, friends, family, that kind of stuff.
'So did you hear about Liam and Dani?' I asked Kate. 'No what happened?' she replied.
'They broke up, Liam wouldn't tell us the real reason why, he just said that they were always apart and it made it hard.' I told her, 'Is he ok?' Kate looked at me, 'Yeah, he's ok about it actually, just trying to get on with it, we have the tour soon, so he'll take his mind off of it.'
Kate nodded and looked down, ‘Babe, you can visit us on tour, I want you to be with us as much as you can.’
I lifted up her chin, turned her head towards mine and stared into her beautiful eyes.
'I'll just miss you, I would come on tour with you but I have work and my boss will not let me have time off.' she replied, I pulled her towards me and she wrapped her arms around my waist, 'What will happen when you go away, to Europe then America and the rest of the world. I don't want us to end up like Liam and Danielle.' She murmured.
'It wont babe, don't you worry, we'll skype every day and you can come and visit, and I'll get Simon to call your work and tell them you need time off.' She smiled.
'I love you Harold.'
'I love you Katherine' I replied.
Whenever we were really loved up, we would call each other these names, I was Harold and she was Katherine, I guess it was because they were the posh versions of our names, and we found it funny.
Then Kate had an idea, she leaped up off the sofa and ran up the stairs, she was wearing a pair of grey shorts and one of my plain white tops which was cut quite low on her chest, but she still looked beautiful as always.
She ran back down the stairs and presented me with a black whiteboard pen, I knew exactly what she as going to do. She bent down over Emma and began drawing a mustache on Emma’s face, she bit down on her lip lightly and concentrated on the masterpiece she was creating.
There and then I could have ripped her clothes off of her, she was so cute yet so stunning all the same, how was she even mine?
After an hour of taking pictures of Emma while she was asleep, we got slightly bored so we decided to put a film on, while watching the film Kate rested her head on my lap and I ran my fingers through her hair and rubbed circles onto her head.
In the middle of the film she looked up at me and smoothed my cheek, ‘I love you.’ she said, ‘I love you too.’ I replied, I leaned down and kissed her on the lips, she ran her fingers through my hair and giggled slightly.

Emma finally woke up and it took her about 1 hour to realize her face had been drawn on, she realised when she checked her twitter and saw the photo I had took of Katie drawing on her face.
The words she said when she saw the picture was ‘Katie Foster, you Fucking Bitch!!’
Me and Katie laughed hysterically and she then chased Katie around my flat cursing at her. ‘I still can’t believe you drew on my face.’ she said whilst walking into the bathroom to wash the pen off.
After a while I walked into the bathroom and found Emma there, washing her face, ‘Oh, sorry’ I said, ‘I just needed the toilet.’ I continued, she nodded her head.
'Its ok, so, um, how are you and Katie?' she asked, her eyes darkened and she looked back down to the sink she was washing her face in.
'Yeah, great, how's your boyfriend?' I replied. 'I haven't got one, remember!' she snapped.
I looked away, and heard the door slam, then I finally had my privacy.
Kate invited Emma over to stay for the night so we made our way to bed after having a takeaway pizza.
'Night.' I whispered, Katie's back was to my front and I pulled her closer to me and kissed the back of her neck.
'Night, have a good sleep Haz.' she replied. 'Don't worry, I already am.' I said. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my head in the crook of her neck.
At that moment in time I felt really lucky to have her, she was my girlfriend but also my best friend, we could tell each other anything and never kept secrets from each other.
I hoped that the love we shared for each other would last forever and a day.
